"A pervert? What pervert?! You need evidence to make accusations like that!"
Raditz protested loudly. So he took a few extra glances—sure, his body had reacted a little, but his intentions were pure!
Zucara burst into laughter at Raditz's defensive outburst.
Meanwhile, Pepara stood protectively in front of her sister, staring directly at Raditz as if trying to pin him in place with her gaze. Seeing his helpless expression, she couldn't help but purse her lips to suppress a smile.
"Hey, you mentioned gathering the surviving Saiyans from across the universe. Can you tell us more about that?" she finally asked.
"It's like this..."
Raditz explained how Frieza had destroyed Planet Vegeta, what happened to Vegeta, Nappa, and Kakarot on Earth, and how Frieza was ultimately defeated. Finally, he told them about the current situation of the Saiyans, including Tarble and the others, as well as the Galactic Justice League.
The two sisters were captivated by the story, stars shining in their beautiful eyes.
They had lived on this planet for so long that, despite having decent lives, they'd never seen the vast universe beyond. Raditz's descriptions awakened their desire to explore the outside world! The endless cosmos left countless possibilities for them to dream about.
It was also the first time Pepara learned there were still such powerful Saiyans—with power levels in the tens of thousands—simply unimaginable to her. The Saiyan instinct flowed in their blood, and both men and women shared that competitive spirit.
"How many tens of thousands do I have?" she asked naively.
It was obvious she had never witnessed Frieza's terror, nor did she understand what the unit "ten thousand" truly meant.
Raditz couldn't help but respond awkwardly: "Well..."
"Forget explanations—just fight me first. I'm the strongest person on this planet!" Pepara, with her fiery temper, spoke quickly, cutting off Raditz before he could continue.
"Really? I'd like to see your strength." He found it impressive that the two sisters could control their ki, which was incredibly rare for someone who had trained alone. Their aptitude was excellent.
With a bit of proper guidance, they could become formidable fighters.
"Alright! I'll show you my power." Pepara clenched her fists tightly and took a fighting stance.
Raditz simply stood there casually, maintaining a calm expression. His stance seemed full of openings, yet Pepara couldn't find a single weakness. After careful observation, she suddenly felt a chill—she couldn't detect Raditz's energy at all!
When Raditz had first arrived on the planet, the sisters had sensed a powerful presence and rushed to investigate. But now that energy had completely vanished, impossible to detect.
Looking at Raditz, beads of sweat trickled down Pepara's cheeks.
"You can mask your power." This was her first encounter with an opponent whose strength she couldn't sense. She wasn't foolish—she understood that he had mastered the ability to suppress his energy.
With focused determination, Pepara launched her attack. The moment she moved, her aura exploded to its maximum, and Raditz noticed her power level suddenly spike—reaching several thousand by his estimation.
It was beyond expectations that she'd grown this strong on her own. This highlighted the many flaws in the Saiyan birth evaluation system—many individuals simply couldn't be measured by their talent at birth!
Pepara threw hundreds of punches in rapid succession, her fists creating afterimages as she attacked with surging momentum. Raditz avoided each strike effortlessly, showing no strain whatsoever. Under the scorching sun, Pepara was soon drenched in sweat while Raditz remained perfectly composed.
After her barrage failed, Pepara retreated.
"Your speed is incredible!"
Raditz remained silent. He raised one hand, and a bright white peanut-sized energy bead suddenly materialized in his palm. Immense power compressed into such a tiny form, like a vast thunderstorm condensed into a single raindrop.
Despite its small size, the intimidating aura was terrifying. The sky suddenly darkened as if the powerful sunlight itself retreated in fear of this mighty power. Lightning flashed around the white energy bead like golden snakes dancing wildly. Wind swept in all directions, blowing dust into the distance and forming a massive sandstorm.
Pepara and Zucara were awestruck. As ki-sensitive fighters, they finally understood what a true power gap looked like!
Raditz closed his palm with a soft hiss, containing the energy ball. The sky brightened again, and everything calmed down.
"That's... that's incredible! So this is your power!"
"Well, is it enough to defeat you?" Raditz asked with a slight smirk.
"What about the other Saiyans? Are they all this powerful?"
"Some are quite strong. Others I'm still training."
"Zucara, let's go! Let's meet the other Saiyans and see other planets in the universe!" Pepara couldn't contain her excitement, ready to leave immediately.
Having never experienced the outside world, her curiosity won out, and she was desperate to see the magnificent universe beyond their planet. Zucara naturally followed her sister's lead and agreed without hesitation.
Raditz sighed deeply. Apparently, a simple demonstration was enough—all his explanations had been unnecessary. Some Saiyans were truly innocent and endearing.
After the sisters bid farewell to their friends on the planet, they boarded Raditz's luxury single-person spaceship and set off for their next destination.
In space, the ship flew smoothly through the void.
"Raditz, the power level of that move you showed us must have been a million, right?"
"Nothing that dramatic. It was only about twenty to thirty thousand."
"Twenty to thirty thousand? So I don't even have ten thousand?"
"Well... to be honest, you only have about three to four thousand..."
"Is that so... Hey, pervert, you just bumped into me!"
"No, I didn't!"
"I say you did, so you did, pervert!!!"
...
One month later, at the Galactic Justice League headquarters.
To the east stood a specially developed large-scale training field with a radius of more than ten kilometers. It featured not only specialized equipment and vast open spaces but also several gravity rooms that could accommodate more than twenty people at once.
Inside one gravity room, a dozen or so Saiyans trained intensely. The screen displayed the current setting: 25 times Earth's normal gravity.
After a month of searching, Raditz and his subordinates had found several other Saiyans. Fifteen in total had gathered, most around Tarble's age, with just two who were older—about the same age as Vegeta.
"Tarble, what about those movements I taught you? Take a look at your form!"
"Zucara, try to overcome the gravity and focus on your speed! Faster!"
"You there—and you—control your anger! Think about what I told you yesterday."
Raditz moved through the gravity room, sternly correcting the Saiyans and pointing out flaws in their combat techniques.
His body had grown strong enough to withstand 300 times Earth's gravity, so 25 times gravity affected him no more than normal conditions would. The other Saiyans envied his calm composure. True to their nature, Saiyans respected strength, and they were thoroughly convinced of Raditz's superiority.
They sweated profusely in the harsh environment, bodies in constant motion as they threw punches and kicks. All of them were short of breath, feeling endless exhaustion spreading through their limbs and bones. Yet none complained about fatigue or hardship. Instead, they pushed themselves harder, striking with greater determination.
Tarble was the most dedicated of them all. Back in the Phaeda, he had already tasted the rewards of diligent training and progress. Knowing that Raditz's teachings were effective, he refused to slack off, meticulously completing all training tasks and even adding extra hours of practice daily.
Raditz observed this with satisfaction. Tarble was worthy of being his first apprentice. Though his natural talent might not match Vegeta's, his relentless drive to pursue greater strength was identical.
After about two more hours of training, the gravity in the room finally returned to normal. The air pressure and temperature normalized, and a dozen Saiyans instantly collapsed to the floor, gasping for breath.
"Well done. Today's training was good. I'll check if the Tree of Might fruit is ripe later and bring some for your recovery." Before they could celebrate, Raditz added, "Tomorrow we'll prepare for 30 times gravity."
"What? Instructor, we haven't even mastered 25 times gravity yet." Zucara looked at Raditz with innocent eyes, her long eyelashes trembling slightly.
Who said Saiyans couldn't be cute? This female Saiyan's large, liquid eyes and pretty expression were absolutely adorable.
"Yeah, instructor, let's get used to this level for a few more days."
Everyone joined in the petition, looking at Raditz hopefully.
"A few more days to adapt? I'm afraid making training too easy breeds laziness. Remember, you're the ones who want to become stronger, not me. Or... whoever can handle 50 times gravity right now, I'll let them rest for a few days." Raditz's challenge left them without a comeback, and everyone fell silent.
Though his methods seemed strict, he knew that without discipline, they could never produce truly elite fighters.
"Alright, after half an hour's rest, report to the training ground for combat practice!"
