Chapter 99 - "From Giants to Gods: Riku's Ascent."

"A million exchange points?!" Riku said, visibly moved.

"Yep. Normally, a single Giant corpse is worth 40,000 exchange points," the system explained. "But since your earlier attack left them so wrecked, the value dropped a bit."

"So basically, I went a little too hard," Riku muttered, shaking his head.

The system's recycle feature was clearly meant to help him get stronger through combat. But he'd already gotten stronger way faster than expected—and had started down a different path entirely.

While Riku had no mercy for enemies, he wasn't the type to go around killing random people.Wiping out entire races for exchange points? Yeah, no thanks. That'd be nuts.

Of course, if he ever got seriously unlucky and opened total garbage from the chests... well, it wasn't impossible he'd consider slaughtering some demon races for a power boost.

"So, this is the second Diamond-tier 'Two-Six-Zero' Chest, huh? Wonder what kind of treasure is inside?"He glanced over at the chest in the distance.

Then—flash—Riku instantly teleported to it.

Far away, Zhu Yue finally snapped out of her daze and quickly flew toward him.

By now, Riku already had his hand on the Diamond-tier chest.

Crack!A clear sound rang out as the chest burst open, light pouring out from inside.

At the same time, a familiar voice echoed in Riku's head:

Ding!"Congratulations, master! You've opened a Diamond-tier chest and obtained the Solar Authority – Leo."

Solar Authority – Leo, from Problem Children Are Coming from Another World. The wielder becomes completely invulnerable to physical attacks.

"Solar Authority?!" Riku blinked, then muttered in disbelief.

Even in a world full of gods and buddhas like the Little Garden, the Solar Authorities were top-tier blessings.Even god-kings drooled over them. Wars had literally been fought over them.

They were that powerful—because they could shift the balance of the whole world.

"Leo's Solar Authority makes the user immune to all weapons... even absurdly powerful artifacts can't pierce that defense," Riku said, almost to himself.

Then he gave a wry smile.Too bad... it wasn't going to help much in his upcoming deathmatch with the War God.

"Oh well. This thing's crazy lucky to pull anyway. Complaining about it would just be greedy."Riku shook his head slightly and took the Solar Authority of Leo into his possession.

"Lord Riku, I felt like something appeared just now—was that just my imagination?" Zhu Yue asked curiously after flying over.

"That wasn't your imagination. That was the Star Grail," Riku said with a smile.

"The Star Grail?!" Zhu Yue's dragon-pupils widened, and her face showed total shock. "But... isn't it only supposed to appear after a victor has been declared?"

"Heh. You'll find out more about that later," Riku said casually. "As for why it showed up just now—well, the power I released earlier was so massive that if left unchecked, it would've endangered the entire planet. That's why it appeared—to erase that destructive force."

"I see..."Zhu Yue nodded, finally understanding.

"Alright, let's go. We're done here. Next target—the Sea-Dwelling Race!"Riku teleported onto Zhu Yue's back and lay down lazily.

That earlier power burst had drained a ton of energy from him.He needed a proper rest.

"Understood."Zhu Yue respectfully flew in the direction Riku pointed.

While she flew, Riku started thinking about the treasure chest situation.

He was now sitting on 1.04 million exchange points.Letting that sit unused? Total waste.

"System, I want to redeem a Supreme-tier chest," Riku said in his mind.

"Exchanging Supreme-grade treasure chest. Deducting 100,000 exchange points. Ding! Exchange successful."The system's voice echoed in Riku's mind.

In the blink of an eye, a luxurious purple treasure chest appeared in front of him.

Looking at the elegant, noble-looking chest, Riku smiled slightly and placed his hand on it.

With a crisp click, the chest opened. A dazzling object wrapped in light emerged before his eyes.

At the same time, the system chimed in again.

"Ding! Congratulations, Master, for opening a Supreme-grade treasure chest. You've received: The Sword of Promised Victory."

"The Sword of Promised Victory, huh? I doubt that's gonna help me much…" Riku muttered with a frown.Even though he liked that noble dumb-hair King and her powerful Noble Phantasm, at his current power—able to destroy stars and aiming to defeat a literal War God—this thing was kinda underwhelming.

"Master, this is the original version. It's not the downgraded anti-fortress version. It can withstand your power and even boost it," the system explained quietly.

"Oh, I see." Riku nodded slightly, finally a bit satisfied.

Then, he took the sword into his hand. Radiant light shimmered around it, giving off a regal aura and a vague sense of the truth of victory.Though it resembled that sword from Artoria, it wasn't quite the same.

Once he confirmed that it was at least somewhat useful, Riku tossed it into the system's storage space.

"System, exchange for a God-tier treasure chest." His golden eyes lit up with excitement.

Even with his usual composure, Riku couldn't help feeling a little nervous and thrilled. He was definitely looking forward to this.

A God-tier chest, after all. The best of the best according to the system. It had to be packed with some seriously overpowered stuff—anything less would be a letdown.

"God-tier treasure chest exchange successful. 500,000 points deducted. Remaining balance: 440,000 points." The system's voice rang out again.

Suddenly, an orange-gold treasure chest appeared right in front of him, making Riku narrow his eyes slightly.

He took a deep breath, calmed himself a bit, then placed his hand on the chest and opened it.

"Ding! Congratulations, Master, for opening a God-tier treasure chest. You've obtained: God-tier Bloodline – Ancient Saiyan God Bloodline."

"Saiyan God Bloodline?" Riku blinked, then his eyes lit up with excitement.Saiyan bloodlines were already super OP, and now this was the God-tier version? Way stronger than the regular kind for sure.

If this thing came from a God-tier chest, then yeah—it had to be top-quality.

Riku rubbed his chin and nodded with satisfaction. "System, fuse the bloodline."

"Ding. Kind reminder: The Saiyan God Bloodline requires an extremely strong body. Attempting fusion now would cause your body to explode," the system replied calmly.

"Damn it!" Riku's face darkened immediately.

"....."
