Chapter 1 : Runaway
Part 1
The sun rose over in the east, casting its light over the kingdom of Shirone. The capital had three great landmarks : the spiraling palace, the colosseum, and the Guilds' cluster. Between the alleys of this great capital, men are running around, angry and yelling.
"Where is this punk! If I get my hands on him, I'll… Agh!! Men, search all corners!" said a fuming man with scars of previous battles
"Yes, boss" replied the men
Above the raging men stood a boy, no older than 15 walking on the walls? How is that possible? Well, it's because of mana. There is no magic or spells here but there is the application of mana.
"3 men and 1 boss out for my head? I only asked him to walk off! Jeez louise! My Drake, this is bad! they'll be going after me for hours!" complained the boy. Well, at least I managed to swipe some silver coins, he thought, already taking out a sack of coins. His name is Kael Redox
"Well, well, well. Looks like I finally have you, Rouge AD!" yelled another boy around a year older. It looked like he was part of the D.L.E (Dracontinental Law Enforcement) since he had their uniform on. His name is Julius Yigdris.
"D.L.E. agent, huh? Well, this is a nice surprise but what's this Rouge AD thing?" Kael asked, friendly and with a small smile.
"Don't you know? Among the D.L.E., you're known as Rouge AD." Julius replied sincerely
"Okay, so that's it. Well, I'm on my way home, so if you'd excuse me" Kael said knowing Julius's next move
"Wha!? No! I'm going to capture you and get promoted!" he yelled as he grabbed a Grux gun (a gun that shoots mana bullets)
But before he could shoot, as he yelled, Kael jumped off of the roof, to his death. Or that's what it was supposed to be, instead, he walked on air, no, he was running.
"Haha, catch me if you can!"
And thus, they ran across the capital from morning to night and when it was all done and said, Kael managed to slip away

Part 2
The abandoned mansion not far from the capital called the "Screaming House" was Kael, this was his home
"Damn that agent! I had to run all day 'cause of him! Next time I'll… I'll… Ugh, I just have to calm down. Deep breaths, deep breaths." He said to himself as usual. 5 silver coins… That's all, huh? He thought
Then, a small creak could be heard from the entrance
Another bunch of kids, huh, he thought as footsteps approached.
"H-hey, Rosie… sh-should we really be doing this..?" one of the kids said
another replied with "Yes, I-I'm sure… I think…"
Oh, hihih, a test of courage this time, huh? Kael thought as he walked right up behind them. Better make a Grux mask, he thought before materializing mana as an 3D object.
"R-Rose, I'm scared…"
"M-me too…"
3….
2…
1..
"BOOO!"
"Whaaa!" both kids yelled in unison as they ran away, crying from the fear
"It's always fun to see their reactions. You liked that too, right, brother..?" he said to no one as he stared into the night sky
