Madara snorted and turned his face away, unwilling to waste words on Black Zetsu.
Kaguya took the opportunity to speak, her tone calm yet firm, as she explained the abilities of Momoshiki and Urashiki. Minato had already pieced together parts of their powers during the fight, but hearing the details confirmed what he feared: the Ōtsutsuki Clan truly were monsters of talent and bloodline.
"Momoshiki…" Minato muttered, narrowing his eyes. "No wonder he acts so arrogant. He has the strength to back it up."
Yet with Kaguya at their side, the pressure dropped by half. She had eaten the fruit of the Divine Tree and carried overwhelming strength within her. Facing one Momoshiki would not be beyond her reach. But like many Ōtsutsuki, her greatest flaw was not her power—it was her inability to use it to its true potential.
Momoshiki sneered, unimpressed. He gripped his crimson staff and lunged at her with reckless force.
Kaguya inhaled deeply, her hands forming fists. She struck the empty air, unleashing a barrage of invisible, fist-shaped shockwaves. The true God Vacuum Fist.
The attack slammed into Momoshiki all at once, overwhelming him before he could brace. His body was flung through the air, his robes shredded, his composure shaken.
Urashiki's eyes widened. "Senior, are you alright?" His voice carried false concern.
Momoshiki coughed, blood staining his lips, and steadied himself. "The Kaguya I knew… never possessed this power. So, it's true. You devoured the Divine Tree fruit."
Urashiki's pupils contracted. His breathing quickened with envy. The Divine Tree fruit—something only the highest elders were permitted to consume. For the rest, scraps, diluted power, crumbs of eternity. Yet Kaguya, this exile, had eaten an entire fruit herself. The greed in his heart burned so violently it nearly consumed him.
Momoshiki fixed his eyes on her, cold fury bleeding into his words. "You were a guardian, nothing more. To eat the Divine Tree fruit without permission… tell me, Kaguya, did you also kill Ōtsutsuki Isshiki?"
Kaguya's lips trembled, then she drew herself tall. "So what if I did? Why should I have been sacrificed?"
"You dare speak like that? You're weak. That's all you are! Even with the fruit, you're still a failure!" Momoshiki spat.
Black Zetsu shrieked in rage, bursting from Kaguya's sleeve. "Shut your mouth! You were just thrashed by her, and you dare insult her?!"
Momoshiki's composure cracked, his jaw tightening. "You wretched parasite… I'll tear you apart piece by piece!"
Kaguya extended her sleeve protectively, glaring at him. "You wish. And one more thing—you're wrong about my master. His name is not Isshiki. His name… is Uchiha Chiga."
The battlefield went still.
"Uchiha… Chiga?" Momoshiki muttered, momentarily stunned. The name was foreign, unknown among the clan's records. Before he could question further, a flash of gray pierced through the air.
"Senior! Dodge!" Urashiki shouted.
Momoshiki twisted instinctively, barely evading the projectile. The gray bone skimmed past, grazing his robes. His clothes crumbled to ash where it touched.
He stared at Kaguya in shock. "That technique… it was meant to kill me."
Her chest rose and fell sharply. The Ash-Killing Bones were her most devastating weapon. If she had struck true, even an Ōtsutsuki would have turned to dust. That she missed left her frustrated.
Urashiki moved beside his senior, no longer dismissive. Kaguya, after eating the fruit, was a threat they could not afford to underestimate.
Far above, on the Moon.
The protective barrier Hamura had left behind flickered weakly. His chakra had long since thinned under Momoshiki's assault. Holding it together was agony.
His gaze shifted to the figure lying still in the temple. "Chiga… are you still not ready? I can't hold on much longer…"
The words had barely left his lips when golden threads laced across Chiga's body. They converged into his eyes, wrapping him in a radiant cocoon.
Hamura froze. The sleeping figure transformed, blazing like a miniature sun. The barrier shattered under the light, but instead of despair, Hamura felt awe. The sun drifted forward, breaking free of its confines, filling the temple with a divine presence.
Pressure rippled through the air, so great that Hamura's blood trembled in recognition. He nearly dropped to his knees.
Light burst forth. A ray cut through Hamura's spirit, solidifying his fading body. Strength like he had never known surged back into him.
The sun's form melted, condensing into the shape of a man. Uchiha Chiga.
He opened his eyes. Two golden Tenseigan glowed like twin suns.
The aura that erupted flattened Hamura to the floor. Trembling, the Sage of the Moon whispered, "You're awake…"
Chiga's gaze softened slightly. Hamura explained hurriedly, "While you slept, three Ōtsutsuki descended to Earth. You must return!"
Chiga nodded. "Thank you for holding on this long. And Hamura… you should speak with your descendant. His heart has strayed."
"You mean Toneri…?" Hamura's expression darkened. "That poor child. So much tragedy has followed him."
Chiga's eyes glimmered. "Next time, don't leave vague words behind when you and your brother are alive. It only leads to pain."
Hamura chuckled weakly. "Heh… fair enough."
Chiga turned away, golden light radiating from his form. The temple itself seemed to bend around his presence.
On Earth.
The Valley of the End roared with battle. Kaguya, Minato, and Madara pressed Momoshiki and Urashiki relentlessly. The invaders faltered, step by step, under the combined might of goddess, sage, and shinobi.
But desperation brought danger.
Momoshiki thrust his hand outward, condensing a dark crimson Rasengan larger than mountains. Urashiki unleashed his own technique, a monstrous serpent of chakra, its maw opening to form a massive orb of annihilation, equal in power to a Truth-Seeking Orb.
Not to be outdone, Kaguya raised a colossal Truth-Seeking Orb with one hand, her eyes flashing with icy resolve.
The three powers collided in the air, a storm of destruction forming at their center.
Minato's expression sharpened. With a single glance at Obito, he gave his order.
Obito activated Kamui without hesitation, pulling Minato and the others into the safety of his dimension as the world outside threatened to tear itself apart.
