I stared at my reflection in the full-length bathroom mirror, turning sideways and running my hand over the small swell of my belly. It wasn't obvious under baggy clothes, but the slight curve was unmistakable now—visible proof of the life growing inside me.
My baby bump. The physical manifestation of everything that had changed in my life.
