Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Meet the Dean of Students and Trigger the Hidden Quest

---

The faceless female teacher had only been rated moderately dangerous, which was exactly why Lucas dared to attack her.

She had been too focused on his answer sheet—the perfect window.

But now?

He was surrounded by a dozen faceless male invigilators, each with a moderate danger rating.

This time, Lucas didn't resist.

He simply let himself be taken away without struggle.

> "You die for answering a question wrong, but if you kill the teacher, you just get escorted away?"

Lucas actually felt relieved.

> "Wow… this dungeon's mechanics are surprisingly considerate."

---

The live stream exploded.

Viewers were stunned at first, but after thinking it through, it all made a twisted sort of sense.

> "Classic Lucas… Only he would think of this."

"That's why he's Lucas. A walking anomaly."

"I expected nothing less from him!"

---

[163,495 viewers are watching the player's live broadcast. 82,130 viewers have sent gifts, earning 82,130 points.]

[Player Lucas's broadcast ranking is surging. Only 300,000 views remain before surpassing the top spot. Keep it up!]

---

As he walked down the hall flanked by invigilators, the other candidates stared at him.

Everyone knew what that alarm meant.

The sirens had now gone silent, but whispers lingered in their minds.

Somewhere else in the same dungeon...

Blue Kill turned to a companion and asked quietly:

> "Is he a player?"

The companion nodded.

> "Definitely. The NPCs wouldn't attack a teacher. But… I don't recognize the name Ethan."

Blue Kill furrowed his brow for a second.

Then shrugged.

> "Doesn't matter. I'm here to clear the main quest. What others do isn't my concern."

---

Dean of Students' Office

Outside the intimidating office door, the faceless invigilators finally stopped.

Lucas stood still, surrounded by their blank gazes.

Even for someone as fearless as him, being watched by so many featureless faces was unnerving.

Suddenly—

Creak—

The office door opened from within.

A muscular male teacher appeared, dragging something behind him.

It was a student.

Unconscious. Bleeding.

Her body dragged across the floor like a rag doll.

Her face was unrecognizable beneath the blood.

> "Candidate Natalie cheated during the exam. She will receive a zero and a major demerit."

The teacher announced this coldly as he dragged the girl out, indifferent to her condition.

Only after the broken body was gone did Lucas look away.

> "Candidate Ethan, you may enter," one of the faceless guards said, flatly.

Lucas fixed his collar and stepped forward.

Into the office of the Dean of Students.

---

> "Beating or killing—so this school only knows those two teaching methods?"

Many players watching the stream were visibly disturbed by what they'd just witnessed.

> "A school that runs a dungeon like this can't possibly be normal."

"Has anyone ever seen the dean before?"

"No clue. Most exam-type dungeons never reach this level of horror. And no one's ever done what Lucas just pulled off."

---

Click—

The door shut behind Lucas with a final, foreboding sound.

Then he saw it:

The Dean of Students.

A monstrous figure, seated at a desk, but as tall as the bookshelf behind him—even while sitting.

When he stretched, his arms nearly reached four meters in length.

Just the act of being present filled the room with oppressive pressure.

[School Dean: Intermediate Danger]

---

Lucas calmly scanned the office.

Unlike most real-world academic offices, filled with books and awards, this place showcased medieval horrors:

The Judas Chair. The Head Crusher. The Scavenger's Daughter. The Knee Splitter.

Instruments of pain, proudly displayed where trophies might've sat.

---

The dean stood up.

His enormous body knocked the desk crooked and shattered a portion of the bookshelf.

He glared at Lucas—despite having no eyes.

> "Candidate Ethan, did you or did you not attack a teacher?"

His voice rumbled like an earthquake.

> "What I despise most… is a liar."

But before he could go on, Lucas calmly nodded.

> "Yes, sir. I cut off the invigilator's head."

The room fell silent.

Painfully, awkwardly silent.

Even the other viewers watching the stream didn't breathe.

The faceless dean stood still for a long moment.

Then, in an odd shift of tone, he said:

> "Hmmm… Cut her head off… You're an honest young man."

But halfway through his sentence, he froze.

Something didn't sit right.

His hand slammed down on the desk—

CRACK!

The desk shattered clean in two.

> "Bringing a controlled weapon, disturbing the examination room, and attacking a teacher—any one of these is enough to warrant severe punishment!"

---

DING—

A game panel appeared.

---

[Player Lucas has triggered a Hidden Mission]

[Hidden Quest: Receive a Touching Hug from the Dean]

[Reward: Unknown]

---

> "Oh no…"

"Did he just trigger a secret mission in the middle of disciplinary sentencing?!"

"Lucas, you madman! You've broken the dungeon again!"

---
