Chapter 100 - C100

Picku died with his eyes open, full of unwillingness. Lodas watched with his heart pounding and liver trembling—he had thought he could take advantage of the chaos between these powerhouses to pick up the spoils. He never expected things to turn out like this.

The two remaining family clans were just as shocked. The Dauben family had believed that consuming a Devil Fruit would at least give them a fighting chance against these monsters. But seeing what happened to Picku, that hope was extinguished instantly.

Now, all they wanted was to escape this building—fast.

Unfortunately... it was already too late.

"Five Color String!"

Doflamingo stood on the ground, one hand stretched skyward. Five threads shot out like wild beasts, piercing through the sky and forming a massive X-shaped net above.

Weiss remained where he was, staring directly at Doflamingo. His sword was held horizontally in front of him, unshaken even as the threads descended at high speed, aiming to pierce through his body.

"Basic Strike — Cleave One!"

The blade spun as crimson sword energy rippled outward, vibrating the air and making a high-pitched whine. The wisps of sword aura swelled, converging into a giant vortex shaped like a blade-wrapped tornado.

BOOM!

The scarlet whirlwind surged upward, shredding the five threads into powder. The blast of wind howled, making clothing flap like sails in a storm. Lodas and the two families instinctively shielded their eyes—afraid this monstrous sword wind might slash them blind.

The building shook violently as a massive hole punched through its structure. Huge chunks of debris fell from above with a deafening rush, smashing into the ground and stirring clouds of dust.

Through the broken rooftop, the round moon was now clearly visible.

"Fufufufu... What a monster."

"Monster? If this is all you've got, you'll die here today." Weiss flourished his sword, its tip dragging slightly against the ground. His body was half-shrouded in dust, but his eyes—sharp and blade-like—stared directly at Doflamingo.

If he had the chance, he would really like to kill the Heavenly Yaksha.

In his eyes, only Blackbeard and Doflamingo were true tyrants.

Right now, Momousagi and Chaton were already outside, battling Katakuri. That left only the two of them in this arena.

"Arrogant, aren't you? Let's see if you've got the skill to back it up!"

As Doflamingo's words left his mouth, Weiss vanished. At the same moment, an earth-shaking aura exploded from Doflamingo's body.

Crimson shockwaves burst forth like tsunamis, consuming the area. Among the onlookers, only Lodas managed to stay conscious—barely. The rest fainted instantly under the sheer force of the Conqueror's Haki.

CLANG!

A pitch-black sword strike clashed against the spider-web wall that Doflamingo had prepared. The sound was like steel slamming steel—a testament to how terrifyingly tough those nearly invisible threads really were.

"Conqueror's Haki? This isn't something you waste on small fries, you know." Weiss's internal energy surged, concentrating at the tip of his blade.

"You don't have it, do you?"

"Fufufu... The infamous Sword Demon of the New World, and yet you lack Conqueror's Haki? How disappointing." Doflamingo sneered, though his arm holding up the spider web trembled imperceptibly.

"Hahaha! You're right, I don't have Conqueror's Haki—

But I've got this!"

As if the gates of hell had been thrown open, a murderous aura exploded from Weiss's body. The crimson killing intent swept through the building like an autumn wind through fallen leaves, carrying the devastating weight of spiritual annihilation.

Lodas fainted instantly, overwhelmed by the combined pressure of Haki and killing intent. A man who didn't even dare step into the New World—how could he endure this kind of force?

BOOM!

CRACK!

Suddenly, the skies changed. The bright full moon was veiled by dark clouds, and crimson-black lightning tore through the heavens. A violent storm began raging across the entire building.

Weiss's killing intent surged like a tidal wave. Doflamingo's face tensed, veins bulging as he resisted both physical and mental collapse.

Outside, the Marines couldn't see what was happening inside the building—but the changes in the sky told the whole story.

"Was that a clash of Conqueror's Haki?! That's terrifying!"

"Even from here, the pressure is unbearable..."

Civilians stared at the ruined building, wide-eyed and speechless. They now understood why the Marines had urged them to evacuate.

CRACK, CRACK, CRACK!

The ground beneath the two combatants began to give way, fracturing under the weight of their clash. Cracks spidered out from beneath them like vines, climbing walls and shattering concrete.

BOOM! BOOM!

Walls gave out, collapsing one after another with deafening crashes.

"You're losing your grip!"

Weiss suddenly pushed forward—Doflamingo's web shattered.

SLASH!

A sword wound split diagonally across Doflamingo's chest. He stumbled backward, then launched himself into the air using his Sky Strings, narrowly escaping the collapsing battlefield.

Weiss was even more direct. With a flick of his sword, dozens of sword auras shot upward, clearing the falling rubble above him in an instant.

But even that couldn't stop the building from collapsing into ruin.

Weiss now stood atop the rubble, looking up at Doflamingo, who was hovering in the air. The latter used his threads to stitch up his chest wound. Thanks to Armament Haki, the injury wasn't deep—barely any blood had spilled.

Far in the distance, a battalion of Marines worked to evacuate civilians. Two figures—Jack and Kadun—were helping out. They knew this kind of battle was way beyond their league.

Weiss had asked the Carmeline family to assist with evacuations too. He had anticipated this battle from the start.

"Vice Admiral Garp, there are two major battlefields on Flying Bird Island right now. Vice Admirals Momousagi and Chaton are fighting Katakuri, while the Sword Demon is facing the Heavenly Yaksha." The Navy captain reporting still had the image of that terrifying clash burned into his mind.

"We've received word that most of the northern town on Flying Bird Island has already been destroyed—reduced to rubble. So far, this battlefield has only taken down one building."

"Puhahaha! Momousagi's group is going all out, huh? Katakuri didn't even try to run? Now that's rare. As for this side—keep evacuating civilians. Looks like it's about to end up just like the north."

Garp chuckled while munching on donuts, unconcerned.

As long as no civilians were harmed, who cared if half the island was leveled?

"Yes sir! The Carmeline family and the Sword Demon's crew have been helping us from the start!"

The evacuation continued in full swing.

"Fufufufu... I really underestimated you. Looks like I'll have to get serious." Doflamingo drifted lightly to the ground, his feathered coat billowing. He landed in a half-squat, placing one hand on the ruined terrain.

"'Get serious?' You fought me this long without even coating your strings in Armament Haki—only using it after getting injured. What is it—overconfidence? Or just a death wish?"

Weiss tightened his grip on his sword.

He hadn't used his full strength either.

Looking at Doflamingo, he realized—by now, that man's Devil Fruit had likely awakened. Taking him down wouldn't be easy.

He wasn't yet at the level of Aokiji, who had frozen Doflamingo in an instant back in the original timeline. That was basically a one-shot.

"Fufufu... Keep running your mouth, kid. Let's see how long you last."

"Shield White String!"

In an instant, the entire battlefield was transformed into a world made of threads!
