Chapter 105 - Fire Domain

Lulu nodded and, together with Ke Ke, the three of them flew into the distance.

Along the way, Lu Yin opened his personal communicator. Apart from detecting strange beasts, very few cultivators were advancing. Those who had survived also wore expressions of despair, not believing they could move forward.

After the sun once again went through the frigid winter and extreme heat, the three of them finally saw the pillar of light connecting heaven and earth. "We're here! That's the end," Ke Ke said excitedly, her small face flushed.

Lu Yin's eyes burned with passion. The Astral Combat Academy, the greatest academy in the universe. A life-and-death assessment for a million people. In the end, how many could stand out? How strong were those people? He was very much looking forward to it.

There were a total of three Reaching Realm paths. At this moment, at the end of another Reaching Realm path, the sun's fire baked the earth. In front of the pillar of light connecting heaven and earth, a dozen or so Reaching Realm cultivators looked in horror at the huge beast before them. No, it wasn't a beast, but a—Great Wu Wyrm Dragon.

In the universe, the place where humans lived was one domain, and the Starry Sky Giant Beasts also had their own domain, constantly at war with the human domain. The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon was a branch of the Dragon Clan from the Starry Sky Giant Beast domain, which had betrayed them in a war and joined humanity.

The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon had the appearance of a deer's antlers, a snake's body, a rabbit's eyes, and an ox's ears, with sharp, giant claws. On both sides of its head were two huge, thin wings, dark red in color. Its tail had a round ball of flesh, and its back was covered in hard armor. Its eyes were cruel, full of a fierce and malevolent aura. A single glance was enough to make one tremble with fear.

"What... what is this thing?" someone screamed in terror.

The others looked on blankly. The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon was a race from the Innerverse, and a traitor from the Starry Sky Giant Beasts at that. Not many in the Outerverse recognized it.

Feeling the terrifying aura of the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon, all the cultivators stopped, not daring to advance.

Suddenly, two figures shot towards the pillar of light, attempting to bypass the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon.

The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon's fierce and cruel eyes suddenly turned ferocious. Its huge body abruptly split in two. With two loud bangs, the two cultivators were blasted back. One of them was directly blown into two pieces, his blood splattering across the earth.

Everyone sucked in a cold breath. That was extreme speed, absolute speed. This beast looked huge, but its speed was incredibly terrifying.

"Ant-like humans, this path is closed. Scram back," the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon roared, kicking up a huge storm.

The dozen or so Reaching Realm cultivators were unwilling. They had worked so hard to reach the end, enduring the harsh weather, the beast tide, and the three attacks from the void. They didn't want to give up.

"Everyone, charge together! It's also in the Reaching Realm! I don't believe it can stop all of us!" someone shouted, his tone full of incitement. The next moment, the dozen or so Reaching Realm cultivators gritted their teeth and rushed towards the pillar of light at their fastest speed.

The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon roared. Its tall body split into two, then immediately into three. Three huge figures completely blocked the path before the pillar of light. Sky-shaking booms accompanied fierce clashes, and figures were sent flying back. Those who could make it here were not simple; each had powerful combat techniques. However, they were useless against the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon. Their attacks were simply not enough to defeat it.

The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon roared up at the sky, its hard dragon claws stained with blood, having beaten back all the Reaching Realm cultivators. It guarded the end alone; no one could pass.

"Humans, you are a nuisance," the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon said arrogantly, raising its head. Its dragon claws tore at the ground, the cracks spreading forward to where the dozen or so pale-faced Reaching Realm cultivators stood.

At that moment, a silver streak flashed past. The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon was stunned for a moment. By the time it reacted, a figure had already stepped into the pillar of light, waved goodbye with his back to it, and vanished directly.

No one had expected that someone could bypass the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon, and without a trace, like the wind blowing through the leaves. The moment the leaves moved, the wind was already gone.

The Great Wu Wyrm Dragon looked at the pillar of light in astonishment, then roared in fury. This was a humiliation. Someone had actually managed to pass through his guard. This was his humiliation. But that person had already left, and there was nothing it could do but glare with its fierce eyes and stop the others from passing.

On the last Reaching Realm path, a man who was half-machine, half-flesh stood at the end. His name was Manke, from the Innerverse's Ross Empire. The Ross Empire claimed to have inherited ancient technology and aspired to mechanize humanity to achieve eternity. The experts in the empire were not purely cultivators, but a combination of machine technology and cultivation.

Similarly, facing Manke, a group of Reaching Realm cultivators could not pass. Manke was even more difficult to deal with than the Great Wu Wyrm Dragon. His technological weapons were everywhere, sealing off the entire area.

The technological weapons Manke carried all fell within the attack range of the Reaching Realm, so it wasn't considered cheating. Even the Astral Combat Academy couldn't do anything about him.

Hiss hiss

A purple gas wave swept across the ground, vaporizing it and forcing back a dozen or so Reaching Realm cultivators.

Manke had turned the end of the path into a defensive fortress, using the sun's heat energy to generate terrifyingly high-temperature attacks. An ordinary Reaching Realm cultivator would die on contact.

"Give up. The Astral Combat Academy is not for you Outerverse trash to touch," Manke said arrogantly. This was the arrogance from the Innerverse; they looked down on the Outerverse.

All the Reaching Realm cultivators gritted their teeth in anger, looking at the fortress built of technology ahead, helpless.

At this moment, in the distant sky, a figure streaked across at high speed, rushing straight towards the end, standing on an ancient longsword, his entire body exuding a sharp aura.

Manke was about to block, but the moment he saw the figure, his expression changed. He held back, allowing the figure to pass directly and enter the pillar of light. "Someone from Myriad Swords Mountain? Why would they come to the Tenth Academy?"

The three of them, Lu Yin, Lulu, and Ke Ke, arrived at the end of the path. Feeling the scorching high temperature, they saw Aquino ahead, like a wall blocking all the Reaching Realm cultivators who had arrived before them, preventing them from passing.

Lu Yin quickly inquired and found out what was going on, looking at Aquino in surprise. Fire Domain? He had heard of it, one of the powerful forces in the Innerverse. Why were they blocking the path? To stop the Tenth Academy from recruiting students?

Crack

Lulu cracked her knuckles, looking at Aquino with excitement. "Fire Domain. I didn't expect to meet someone from the Fire Domain here. Great. Leave this one to me." With that, she leaped up, passed the dozen or so Reaching Realm cultivators, and rushed towards Aquino, throwing a punch.

Aquino was arrogantly scanning the crowd. Outerverse trash is not qualified to touch the Trial World. He was about to say a few words to show off the power of the Fire Domain when a green figure suddenly appeared before him, followed by a punch.

Which fool dares to provoke the Fire Domain? Aquino was furious and attacked without mercy. The ground instantly burst into fierce flames. "Sea of Fire Burning the Heavens!"

The Fire Domain's combat technique—Sea of Fire Burning the Heavens. Aquino used the sun's extreme heat to increase the power of his combat technique several times. He raised one hand, and the sea of fire, as if sentient, swept in all directions, filling the entire space. This was an intention to destroy everything in sight.

Facing the sea of fire with a temperature that would make even a Melting Realm expert's face turn pale with fear, Lulu's eyes were still full of excitement. She still threw a punch. It was clearly an ordinary punch, yet it tore the sea of fire apart, striking directly in front of Aquino.

Although Aquino was arrogant, he was not conceited. The moment the sea of fire was torn apart, he hurriedly dodged. The ground was shattered by Lulu's punch. A fierce gale, accompanied by flames, swept up, filling the sky and forming a rain of fire.

Aquino's pupils shrank. A difficult enemy. He didn't hesitate and unleashed his full power. The flames on the ground burned again, spreading out in a radius of ten meters, a hundred meters, a thousand meters, and even infinitely outwards. The sun's extreme heat was perfect for him to ignite the ground. All the Reaching Realm cultivators were affected, including Lu Yin and Ke Ke. The two of them retreated at the same time.

But the speed at which the sea of fire spread was extremely fast. In an instant, except for a few, all the others were severely injured, and some were even burned to ashes.

Lulu's eyes were calm as she felt the fiercely expanding sea of fire. She raised her right fist and still threw a punch. In her philosophy, there seemed to be nothing that couldn't be solved with one punch. No matter how terrifying Aquino's sea of fire was, this one punch still brought him down from the heavens. The boundless sea of fire was extinguished by a single punch. Aquino's entire body was driven deep into the ground by the punch, to an unknown depth, completely devoid of life.

Lu Yin was astonished. Lulu's fists seemed... a bit terrifying. This was the Mebis clan, a true colossal monster. She didn't use any combat techniques at all, just her fists.

"Wow, so powerful," Ke Ke exclaimed in admiration, her eyes full of worship. "Even more powerful than Sister Zahra. Is she really in the Reaching Realm?"

Lu Yin took Ke Ke and flew into the air, heading for the end. Lulu stood tall in the air, looking down. "Did I hit him too hard?"

"Let's go. We've passed," Lu Yin said.

Ke Ke nodded, looking at Lulu with worship. "Sister, I think it's best if you don't reveal that you're so strong, otherwise you won't be able to find a boyfriend."

Lulu snorted. "I'm naturally beautiful. The men chasing me could line up from the Innerverse to the Outerverse. It's not a problem."

Ke Ke believed her, then took out her large syringe. "Sister, are you injured? Let me give you a shot."

Lulu immediately refused. She felt that Ke Ke's syringe was much more terrifying than Aquino's Sea of Fire Burning the Heavens.
