Vacuse could barely keep track of what they were saying as his mind reeled. The only thing he could think about the most was the fact that Captain Yemi was standing in front of him.
Captain Yemi that now wanted his head.
Vacuse smiled bitterly. "Eh... I'll really like to go with Shadowwind."
The two of them turned to him and Yemi sneered. "You little shit. What are you talking?"
The next instant, Yemi blurred forward in a burst of speed so fast it was almost as if he teleported. His sword came down on Vacuse, stirring the air around him as it shot towards his neck.
Vacuse didn't make any attempt to dodge.
Ping!
The sword struck a mass of hardened air and bounced back.
Yemi whirled on Shadowwind, his voice threatening and his eyes flashing. "You have already done your part. You should leave now. I don't give a fuck about what your boss wants or whatever changes. Get lost before I kill you."
