"Let the test conclude first." Lyra rolled her eyes, although there was a pensive look on her face and an unreadable glint in her eyes.
Even Harkon, that was standing nearby, released a sigh.
Vacuse raised his brows. "What's that, Harkon? Don't tell me you don't like me and you're glad Amon might be your new heir."
At this point, people were congratulating Amon, who was smiling so hard, flashing scornful looks at Vacuse's way.
Across the room, a small smile appeared on Lord Ragna's face and he murmured, "It seems the new heir that I'll be talking to as equal is already here. A shame, I feel Vacuse would be harder to manipulate. It would have been fun."
