Back at the yacht, those who had gone for the game hunting were back, but with worried and anxious faces.
Zara kept pacing as she worried about her best friend, who was now declared missing. Though some of the elders who stayed behind on the yacht said they heard many footsteps going in and out earlier, they couldn't say exactly what had happened.
"Why would you let her leave alone?!" Zara yelled, storming toward Syres, but was held back by Silas, who quickly stepped in to keep a distance between them.
"She's not on that island, that I can say for sure. We searched around for two hours and found no traces of her or him," Jude, Syres' assistant, relayed, only worsening their concerns.
"What about Kay? Did you see him?" Silas asked.
"No. He never followed us to the island, and he wasn't on the yacht either," Jude replied, and Zara hissed in frustration.
