Adam moved over to the section of the wall that had slid inwards slightly before pushing against it, causing it to barely move.

After seeing that the section of wall didn't move much, Adam braced his shoulder against it before pushing it with even more force.
Rowena, Celeste and all the surrounding people who were watching with interest watched as the section of wall slowly opened to reveal a spiral staircase leading downwards.
The surrounding crowd murmured and many stood up to get a better look while Adam stepped back and began to dust himself off.
"Thank you, Adam," Rowena said with a smile before asking, "Shall we?"
"After you?" Adam replied.
"My, such a gentleman," Rowena replied while winking.
"He just wants you to go down the creepy staircase first," Celeste remarked.

"Feel free to go first then," Rowena said as she gave Celeste her signature smirk while making an after you gesture.
"No thanks," Celeste replied quickly.
"Uh-huh," Rowena replied before leading the way.
Adam smirked at Celeste before following after Rowena.
"Hey! Did you just smirk at me?" Celeste asked with a frown.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Adam replied.
"You so smirked at me."
"He has a helmet on, how can you even tell if he smirked at you?" Rowena asked as she started to descend the spiral staircase.
"I can just tell," Celeste replied.

"What do we do about the opening? Are you just going to leave it open?" Adam asked as he passed through it.
"I wouldn't worry about that," Rowena replied and just as Celeste passed through the opening, it started to close on its own until it was sealed shut.
Some of the spectators outside had tried to follow them inside, only to end up disappointed when the opening closed before they could reach it.
"I can't see shit," Celeste complained as the spiral staircase turned pitch black.
"I don't have a problem," Rowena replied as the chat noticed that the stream seemed to switch to some sort of night vision mode.
"You're a Brood, that's hardly surprising, you can see in the dark," Celeste replied.
"I'm also fine," Adam commented.
"Oh, good for you. Your helmet is probably capable of night vision or some shit."

As the chat watched and to the disappointment of the more bloodthirsty few, Adam didn't attack Celeste with his universal force staff or knock her unconscious, but instead, the universal force staff lit up brightly on one end.
"Here, use this," Adam said before passing Celeste the universal force staff.
"Oh, errr, thanks," Celeste said in surprise as she accepted what she thought was a flashlight and started using it to light her way.

It scans the wielder and if they are not recognised as an authorised user, the universal force staff initiates an overload with the energy cell inside it, thus destroying the force staff and killing the unregistered user.]

"How lucky. I don't think Adam has ever let anyone use that before," Rowena commented with slight jealousy as she looked at the item Celeste was holding.
"What's to be lucky about? It's just an oversized flashlight," Celeste replied.
"Is it?" Rowena replied before resuming her descent down the spiral staircase.

It didn't take the group of three very long to reach the bottom of the spiral staircase, where they entered a long underground tunnel that was barely wide enough for two people to walk side by side and only just high enough that Adam didn't have to duck.

"Where will this bring us out?" Adam asked curiously as the three proceeded down the tunnel.
"This one leads to a hidden trapdoor in the floor of one of the garages," Rowena replied.
"One of them?" Adam asked.
"It's a family estate, as long as you are of at least a certain rank in the family, you are permitted to live on it. Though only the family head and their direct family live in the main house, the other family members have smaller houses dotted around the estate," Rowena explained before looking over her shoulder and asking with a smirk, "You didn't think only the family head lived here, did you?"
Adam didn't reply as he seemed to have suddenly developed a fascination with the tunnel's architecture, causing Rowena and Celeste to giggle.
