"Who on Terrana is singing that wonderful song?" Victoria asked as she entered Tessa's room to find her daughter sitting at her desk and staring at a holographic screen.
"It's Adam," Tessa replied absently as she continued to watch the stream of him playing the piano while singing.
"Really?" Victoria replied in mild surprise before continuing. "While his singing voice is nothing special, I must admit that the music is very pleasant to the ears. I have never heard anything like it."
"It's from that instrument he is playing, he calls it a grand piano."
"Really? I wonder if in the future we can get one here in the palace." Victoria replied as mother and daughter sat and continued listening to the song.

Floating over the capital city of Deverinian Prime, the homeworld of the Deverinian race, was an island that was covered in trees, plants and other vegetation, while wild animals of different kinds roamed freely.
The island looked as if it were completely untouched except for a single house that sat in the middle of the island next to a lake.
Within this house, two Deverinians watched Adam's stream on a large holographic screen as he played the piano and sang.
The two Deverinians sat and listened in silence until Adam's performance came to an end.
"I must say that song was exquisite; the young man's voice was nothing special, however, the music itself was exceptional. If someone like Diva Lorelie sang the song, it would go down in universal history as one of the greatest songs of all time." Lord Malacoss said.
After Malacoss finished speaking, he turned towards the other Deverinian, who didn't speak but just continued to stare at the holographic screen.
"That's right, Demon King, the boy appears to be from somewhere outside the known universe, "Malacoss replied as if the other Deverinian had asked him a question.
"From a planet apparently called Earth," Malacoss replied again.
"He was lucky enough to find a ship on this planet Earth that was capable of subspace travel. Honestly, the ship seems strangely advanced."
"Everything I know?" Malacoss asked in surprise before he began to recount everything he had witnessed on Adam's streams.
When Malacoss finished his recounting, he sat in silence and waited for the other Deverinians to address him again.
"You wish to meet with him?" Malacoss asked in great surprise.
It had to be known that because of the Demon King's special circumstance, they very rarely met anyone other than Deverinians of Malacoss's standing, and even that was rare.
For the Demon King to meet a non-Deverinian was a shocking event that would surprise not only Malacoss but the leaders of the other races.
The leaders of races often made requests to meet with the Demon King, only to be turned down and forced to meet with one of the members of the Deverinian council.
"While I can certainly put forth the invite to the young man, he is currently working as Diva Lorelie's bodyguard."
"That's correct, Diva Lorelie will indeed travel here in the future as part of her tour in order to perform her new genre of music."
"Very well, I will put forth your invite to the young man when he escorts Diva Lorelie here as part of her tour."
"Of course, Demon King, I will speak of this to no one."

As Adam finished his performance, the four women broke out into applause.

"That was so good," Tephe said as she bounced on her feet, clapping.
"It was indeed very impressive. It's a shame your singing voice is lacking, however." Rowena replied with a cheeky smile.
"Grandmother," Stacey replied.
"Don't be sugarcoating the truth just because he's your boyfriend; criticism helps people grow," Rowena replied.
"It's fine, I know my singing voice is not up to much, I did try to warn you," Adam replied slightly absent-mindedly as half his attention on what the chat was saying.
"It was indeed a wonderful piece of music." Lorelie complimented.
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): If even Diva Lorelie, the greatest singer in the known universe, is complimenting the music, you know it's good."]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): You notice that she only complimented the music and not the singing, though. Kekeke.]
"Lorelie, can I ask a favour?" Adam asked thoughtfully.
"What is it?" Lorelie asked in return.
"Can you sing me a part of one of your songs you created before we met?"
"Sure," Lorelie replied before singing something that Adam and the Earthlings in the chat didn't recognise.

As Lorelie finished singing, Adam sighed before saying, "I unfortunately didn't get to view your performance at the celebration; however, after what you just sang, I now understand why Earth's music is such a hit."
"What do you mean?" Lorelie asked.
"Tell me, have you ever heard of music pitches?"
"Pitches? As in how high-pitched a sound is?" Lorelie replied with a puzzled expression.
"Ok, so for some reason no one out here has done what a man named Guido d'Arezzo did for music back on my planet.
He revolutionised music by discovering what people call 'The missing notes'.
Repeat after me, do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do."
"Do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do." Lorelie repeated.

"What was that?" Rowena asked.
"That was called a 'solfege'. It provides a structured way to represent pitch. The music you have here in the known universe lacks any semblance of structured pitch and very little rhythm.
That is the main reason why Earth music and singing sound so incredible to you all. By performing Earth's music, you're not only creating an entirely new genre but introducing a new, more structured and advanced way to write and perform music.
Once you and all other musicians, singers and songwriters understand this, the very concept of music will change and evolve for you all."
"I think I understand, but how can I learn this?" Lorelie replied after thinking for a moment.
"Spector, transfer all data regarding Guido d'Arezzo and the missing note you gathered from Earth to Lorelie's uniband."
"Affirmative," Spector replied before sending the relevant information.

Adam shrugged before saying, "It's not like I can use it, I mean, you heard my singing voice and I have no interest in becoming a musician or anything, so why not give it to someone who can use it."
"Thank you, I don't know what to say," Lorelie replied as tears formed in her eyes and she wore a beautiful smile.
"Not that I'm jealous or anything, but why are you only giving things to Lorelie?" Rowena asked with a smirk.
"Didn't I already give you a way to increase your fan base?"
"If you're talking about that holocall in idea, that wasn't exclusively mine, also Stacey is your girlfriend, so why are you out here giving another girl presents, or do you perhaps trying to woo our Diva Lorelie here?"
