Finally, after waiting for about ten minutes, it was Adam's turn, and he approached the reception counter where a young woman was working.
"How can I help?" The young woman asked as she looked up.
"I want to hand in some quests I got back on Palaxia, but didn't get the chance to hand them in there. Is that possible?" Adam inquired.
"It should be fine as long as it's not a quest where you have to bring back part of the target's body as proof."
"No, it was just some straightforward pirate elimination quests."
"That should be fine then, send your Bounty Hunter ID over to me and let me check it over for you."
Adam did what he was told, and soon a new holographic screen appeared in front of the receptionist, who started to look over the information.
"Adam Spencer, the receptionist said in surprise as she read his name.
"Yes, is there a problem?" Adam enquired.
"No, no, just an unusual name."
"I'm not from around here."
"That would explain it." The receptionist said with a slightly forced smile before she went back to checking the information.
After a few moments of looking everything over, the receptionist looked up before saying, "Everything appears fine, and you have references from the Palaxia Defence Force to show that you, in fact, killed far more than you assigned number. While there shouldn't be any issue with marking the mission as complete and paying you your rewards, I do just need to get the guild master's authorisation since you took this quest at a different branch."
The receptionist who was sitting at the next console gave a curious side glance as she heard this, something Adam noticed but decided not to comment on and just nodded in understanding.
"I will be back in a few minutes," The receptionist said before standing up from her console and heading up the stairs and through the same door the blonde and her group had entered before.
Not long after the receptionist left, the one who was seated next to her stood up and moved over to her console while pretending to make an effort to look for something when, in fact, she was subtly reading the information about Adam that was still displayed on the holographic display.
"Registered ship EDF001-Spector, you're the one that the TISF just put a bounty out on." She cried out in surprise, causing all the bounty hunters in the room to turn and focus on them both.
💫💫💫
"This data drive contains the sensitive data that the TISF is after." The guild master of the Bounty Hunter Guild stated as she handed over the data drive to Tessa.
"Thank you, guild master," Tessa replied before storing it away.
"No problem at all." The guild master replied before thinking of something and saying, "If you don't mind, I would like you to settle a matter I'm curious about."
"If I'm able to," Tessa replied.
"Why has the TISF just put out a bounty on the individual who saved Diva Lorelie?"
"What?" Tessa and her three companions asked simultaneously before Tessa asked with a frown, "What do you mean by that, guild master?"
"It's as I said, just a few days ago, the TISF put out a bounty on the individual who saved Diva Lorelie; take a look." After replying, the guild master pulled up the information regarding the bounty that was recently posted.
"There is nothing here that states this is the same person or crew who saved Diva Lorelie." The male who liked to complain a lot stated,"
"We have our ways of knowing it is one and the same which I obviously can not disclose to you, I was simply curious if you knew the reason as to why they placed a bounty on his head when data suggests the attack on the Trillion Sky Towers was to eliminate drug dealers, but it seems you don't."
Before any of them could respond, the door burst open and the young receptionist who was serving Adam ran in with worry on her face while saying, "Boss, we have a big problem."
"Can't you see I'm in the middle of an important meeting here?" The guild master replied sternly.
"He's here, boss." The receptionist replied as if not registering the reprimand.
"Who's here?" The boss asked.
"The one the TISF just put a bounty out on."
"What!" They all replied in shock before the guild master asked, "What do you mean he's here?"
"He's out front; he came to claim the rewards for a bounty he picked up on Palaxia."
"Do the other bounty hunters know this? If they find out it's going to cause chaos."
"No, I made an excuse to come back here and inform you without letting it slip."
Just as the receptionist finished speaking, a loud noise, as if many blaster bolts impacting something, was heard from the main hall..
"What the fuck was that?" The complaining male asked.
💫💫💫
"Excuse me?" Adam asked with confusion when he heard the secretary's statement.
"Are you sure it's him?" A rather large bounty hunter asked the receptionist.
"It has to be, his ship matches the one in the bounty and states that the TISF wants it in one piece."
"If I remember correctly, that bounty is dead or alive, right?" Another bounty hunter said as they all started reaching for their weapons.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!" Becky yelled as she read the stream information after receiving a notification on her uniband telling her that Adam had just gone live.
"FUCKING TISF, THIS IS EXACTLY WHY ADAM DIDN'T WANT TO MEET ANYONE FROM THE IMPERIAL FAMILY. YOU LOT CAN'T BE TRUSTED. SHIT." Stacey yelled angrily after reading the notification herself.
"Excuse me?" Victoria replied in shock and offence before asking angrily, "What do you mean by those accusations?"
"Take a look for yourself." Stacey snapped at the empress before showing everyone present the stream information.
💫💫💫
"Shit, it's true." Tessa cursed as she read the stream information herself after receiving a notification on her own uniband.
"What's true?" The female driver asked.
"The individual who saved Diva Lorelie is out front; he just went live, and the bounty hunters are about to attack him." Tessa replied before turning to the guild master and saying, "Stop this now before it's too late."
"While I'm curious to know why a TISF officer such as yourself would want to stop a bounty placed by the TISF," The guild leader said before continuing, "I'm afraid you have no right to interfere with guild business.
Do not forget that guilds like the Mercenary Hall are separate entities, and within guild premises only guild rules apply; even the country a guild hall is based in can not make demands of us.
If you're worried about this individual…."
"I'm not worried about the streamer; I'm concerned that you're about to lose most, if not all, the bounty hunters currently present in the guild." Tessa interrupted.
"What?" The guild master asked in confusion, as everyone else also showed looks of confusion.
"See for yourself," Tessa said as she opened the stream on the room's large holographic screen.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): WTF is this?]
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): The TISF put a bounty out on the streamer? Why?]
[HackerSu (Trillion): What the hell is going on? Is Stace ok?]
[MerceadAnderson (Palaxia): They accepted a bounty on him after everything he did to eradicate the pirates?]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palalxia): You idiot, the Bounty Hunter Guild doesn't care about that, they accept bounties on anyone, including their own members, the only exception is if you SS rank or higher.]
[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): Why is the streamer always finding himself in trouble?]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): I don't know, but it makes for great content. Kekeke.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Look at them all, and they all have weapons; this is going to be a tough fight.]
[Sparesomechangebro (Earth): Streamer before you die, remember to add me to your will, ok.]
"I know coming to this fucking planet was a bad idea." Adam cursed as he leapt over the counter while his helmet came up to cover his face, his tail emerged behind him, and he pulled out his blaster.
Blaster bolts from the bounty hunters impacted the reception counter he now hid behind, as the receptionist who had given him away screamed in panic and fear.
"Shut the fuck up, if you hadn't been so nosey as to sneak a look at my data, this wouldn't have happened, do you think I didn't know?" Adam asked before his tail shot out and pierced the receptionist's chest, killing her.
