Synopsis
Reborn as the Primarch of the Eleventh Legion, faced with a future doomed to be erased— Ning Lu is chosen by the primordial essence known as the “Nation of Disorder.” From the moment he awakens in the incubation pod, his fate begins to change, delivering a small but shocking blow to the four Chaos Gods. During the Great Crusade, he expands the Imperium’s borders. In the Horus Heresy, he cuts down traitor Primarchs. After the Emperor is bound to the Golden Throne, Ning Lu becomes the last remaining loyal Primarch, rushing from one crisis to the next. In the War of the Beast, he slays the Beast in battle. In the Eternal War, traitors tremble at the sound of his name. None question his loyalty. Everyone praises it. But... is that really the whole truth? “I was just in it for the benefits. What? You didn’t notice? With alchemical materials, I can cultivate Beyonders. Belisarius Cawl was my ‘mentor’…” “I am the shadow of order, always looking for the loopholes in every rule.” He is the Black Emperor. He makes the rules. He builds a new empire. And for a humanity drowning in darkness and despair—he opens the door to a brand-new future. Chapter 1 - Nation of Disorder

TN: Before we continue, I just want to clarify one thing—I'm not familiar with Warhammer, so I may have made some mistakes in translating names and other terms. However, I'm a big fan of Lord of the Mysteries, and this fanfic is so good that I wanted to share it with all of you. I'll do my best to translate it accurately, but please understand there might be errors since I'm not a Warhammer fan and it's been a while since I read LoTM, so most of my knowledge comes from the Wiki.

-----

That said, this fanfic is truly amazing, and you won't regret reading it. The raw version is in the Synopsis.

In the darkness, Ning Lu tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids felt heavy, as if glued shut.

He vaguely sensed his curled-up body slowly rotating in murky amniotic fluid, drifting back into a groggy sleep.

He didn't know how much time passed before his senses suddenly became clearer. Outside the fluid was a glass partition, part of an unpainted silver-gray iron shell device.

Its smooth surface was covered with various mechanical ports and connectors. On the front was a clear engraving in silver Gothic numerals: XI. Below that, a metal plate bore a second inscription in smaller, more delicate script.

It was the first time Ning Lu had ever "seen" writing like this. It was unlike any language he knew, seemingly a long and complex prayer, meant to call for blessings and support from some higher force.

As he tried to interpret it, a surprised voice rang out nearby.

"My lord, the Eleventh Primarch's senses are remarkably sharp, much like the Fifteenth."

A thunderous, commanding voice responded:

"No, Malcador."

"I gave the Fifteenth powerful psychic gifts. To the Eleventh, I've granted heightened perception and immense willpower."

"He will possess extraordinary insight, able to detect his enemy's weaknesses and strike with precise, lethal force. On the battlefield, he will be a reaper of lives."

'The Eleventh Primarch?'

'Malcador?'

Ning Lu felt as if he'd been struck by lightning. His blurry mind instantly snapped into focus.

He saw an elderly man, frail and holding a staff, his body glowing with intense light, yet compared to the blazing presence beside him, he was like a star beside the sun.

When Ning Lu's awareness brushed against that sun-like presence, it burned him with unbearable pain.

"Sleep! You are still too fragile. Your time to serve me has not yet come."

The sun's voice held a strange, irresistible power. At once, Ning Lu lost all sense of the outside world. It was as if only the incubation pod remained.

His body turned slowly, back to the two who had been speaking, his mind dull and reeling.

'I... transmigrated... they are... the Emperor... and Malcador... I've become... the Eleventh Primarch...'

That thought hovered in his mind, looping endlessly. He didn't know how long it took before it fully formed in his consciousness.

Then, suddenly, the restraints on his awareness vanished.

He could now sense the platform he lay on, the humming engines within the metallic pillars, and the presence of other incubation pods nearby.

He even sensed another awakened consciousness... Magnus?

He realized the Emperor and Malcador had already left. Around him were the other Primarch pods, each nurturing a powerful lifeform.

Beneath the platform, scientists worked at their stations. The backs of their protective suits bore the numeral "I."

Their gloves were stained with blood as they sliced open pale organs using silver scalpels.

Ning Lu now fully understood, he had transmigrated into the Warhammer universe, into the body of a Primarch engineered by the Emperor for the Great Crusade to conquer the galaxy.

'Why transmigrate to Warhammer, of all places, and into the Eleventh Primarch, the one destined to be erased?'

'Even if I tread carefully... can I really escape that fate?'

Just as that thought surfaced, he felt his "body" begin to float, wrapped in black mist.

[Fog? Inside the incubation pod? Are the four Chaos Gods making a move already?]

Moments later, he found himself in a world of endless black fog. He could see only within a hundred-meter radius centered around himself. Beyond that, nothing but dense shadow.

[Didn't the Chaos Gods scatter all the Primarchs across the galaxy? Why is it only my consciousness being drawn here?]

In the lore, the Emperor made a deal with the four Chaos Gods during the Primarch project, half of the Primarchs would belong to the Warp. Eventually, he tried to go back on this deal. In response, the Chaos Gods triggered a Warp storm, scattering all twenty Primarchs across the galaxy.

Still puzzled, Ning Lu suddenly felt a massive influx of information flood his mind.

Had this happened before, his head would've burst from the strain. But now, with a superhuman brain, he processed it rapidly.

[I'm inside the Nation of Disorder. The primordial essence has chosen me for its evolution and brought me into the Warhammer world.]

It all came rushing back, before transmigrating, Ning Lu, a fan of Lord of the Mysteries, had backed a crowdfunding campaign for a blasphemous stone tablet.

When the package arrived, he eagerly unboxed it, only to find a strange bonus item inside. As soon as he touched it, black mist engulfed him and he lost consciousness.

At that moment, Magnus's awareness swept toward the Eleventh Primarch's pod. Sensing no abnormalities, he paused briefly and withdrew.

Ning Lu looked ahead and saw a massive stone slab, precisely 22 meters wide and 10 meters tall.

With a thought, he moved to stand before it.

The "Nation of Disorder" had just filled his mind with knowledge of the extraordinary. He now understood, the slab recorded potion formulas for 22 "Pathway"

Each Path was a progression of potions, one rank at a time, toward ascending to godhood.

To gain extraordinary power, a mortal had to drink a Sequence 9 potion and become a Beyonder.

The lower the Sequence number, the stronger the potion. Sequence 9 to Sequence 0 was a road to divinity.

As the new bearer of the Nation of Disorder's will, Ning Lu was fated to walk the Path of the "Black Emperor." Currently, the slab only revealed the recipe for Sequence 9: "Lawyer". Higher Sequences and other Paths would unlock in time.

Potion Recipe – Sequence 9 "Lawyer":

Main Ingredients: 1100mm of Wiresage, 1 Chemical Dog Tongue

Auxiliary Ingredients: 1100ml of Black Rasvot, 1 Crystal Thorn, 1 Hive-City Giant Rat

Extraordinary Ability: (Redacted...)

From the knowledge given to him, Ning Lu realized that while the ingredients differed from those in Lord of the Mysteries, they shared the same mystical essence—adapted to the Warhammer universe.

Fortunately, each ingredient came with an image, so he wouldn't mistake them.

He also noticed that the Crystal Thorn and Hive-City Giant Rat glowed faintly on the slab, while the other three were dull.

Black Rasvot?

It looked like a dark, vodka-like liquor. He immediately recalled it was a specialty of the industrial world Vostroya .

The "Chemical Dog" wasn't related to the chemical beasts of Safra—it was a canine species brought by Vostroya 's earliest settlers.

[So I'm currently in a Terra lab. The glowing ingredients—Crystal Thorn and Giant Rat—are native to hive cities here.]

[The other three don't exist in this world, hence their dullness. That's actually convenient—it tells me what's available and what's not.]

[If I want to become a Lawyer, I'll need to visit Vostroya .]

Worried that the Emperor might return at any moment, Ning Lu decided to return to his physical body.

His form grew heavier, the black mist faded, and he was back in the incubation pod.

Sleepiness hit him like a wave, and he drifted off again.

Magnus, once more sensing something odd, scanned the pod—but found nothing and withdrew, puzzled.

In the following days, Ning Lu alternated between sleep and thought, planning how to change his fate using his new cheat-like power.

[The Primarchs were tools for the Emperor. He erased the Second and Eleventh Legions for committing unforgivable crimes—perhaps falling to Chaos, or colluding with xenos.]

[With my enhanced senses, maybe I ended up in a strange world, shaped by a culture the Imperium couldn't purge.]

[If I want to escape the fate of being erased, I have to start here—in the pod itself.]

On the eleventh day after transmigrating, he suddenly awoke.

He sensed that the Gellar Field protecting the lab had failed. The barrier between realspace and the Warp was being torn apart—
