Chapter 11 - solidity by blade

-Bored and angry

We're the only words Natsuki Subaru could describe himself as. It had been three days since Subaru had regrouped with Halibel and Otto, and to Subarus disarray, his time has been anything but pleasant. Being forced to stay inside all day was one thing, but being treated like a child? Preposterous!

Only allowed outside at night, WHILE being watched by Halibel, Subaru felt like a locked away teen, a child that didn't know what was best for him.

"There are dangerous people Subaru"

"Stay still Natsuki-Kun"

"it's for you're best Su-san"

Subaru mocked the wording of his friends. Bullshit, all of it!

While he didn't exactly want to let down anybody, he was also his own person, he had his urges and his needs, and exploring the city was one of them. Sighing and folding his arms together, the raven-haired youth fell back to his makeshift futon, one of the many items the nasty-eyed boy had attempted to recreate.

Staring off to the ceiling the boy began to think aloud, "I could always visit Ana-Tan but she's always so super busy". Subaru looked to the side, "and both Halibel and Otto are at work…"

"DAMN IT" raising his right arm in a makeshift rage, Subaru rose up, "just what the hell am I supposed to do!"

(You could always leave Omee?)

Subaru looked around frantically, "who said that?!"

(Omee are you an idiot?) the voice- WAIT! Subaru knew that voice

"Reid? What the hell! Where are you?!" Subaru still gawked around frantically, looking for the source of the Sword-God's voice.

Reid sighed, (Omee… to your left hip?)

"Huh!- oh… yeah, hey Reid, how's it going?" Subaru quickly understood what Reid was suggesting and replied warily. It wasn't that the Swords former owner was speaking to Subaru aloud, but rather through the sword, directly and only too the raven-haired youth.

Pulling the sword out of the seethe and staring at it, the blade of Okusanai, Ryjuk had a slight purple glow to its edge.

(Is Omee really content on lazing around here?)

"Of course not!" the contracted sword-bearer let out his slight roar

(Then Omee should go explore, Omee is powerful enough, so why should Omee worry about anything?) The blade emitted in an encouraging tone

"Y'know what? you're right Reid!" Subaru replied agreeing with the Sword God, "but in saying that" the nasty eyed boy paused, placing his right hand to his chin, "but we need a plan"

(A plan?) the sword asked curiously

"That's right! A plan, so we don't get caught?" The brown-eyed boy relayed to his closest ally

(Ah, I get what Omee is trying to say) Reid replied in a confirming tone

"First stop! Get new clothes!" To that, the raven-haired youth curled his fists and marched raising his legs high and wide. Heading out the door, he put his plan into fruition.

(Why is Omee wearing clothes made for a woman?)

"Because…" Subaru paused, second guessing himself for a moment before quickly regaining his line of thought, "you'll just have to see"

If Reid could, he'd be shaking his head right now, when he learned of his contractor's ambition, he didn't mean to encourage him as much as to make him change his entire identity, (Omee… is this really such a good idea?)

"It's the best!" Subaru replied sharply

Reid sighed once more, (whatever drives your dragons Omee)

The nasty-eyed boy, now dressed as a women looked at himself in the mirror, he actually pulled off the whole cross-dressing thing well. Of course, it was expensive, so much so that he spent his entire week's allowance Halibel had given him, the wig practically taking up half his budget.

Looking to himself, Subaru could note several changes, his hair, his clothing, the way his lips now curled, and well, the fact that he was wearing a black dress that flowed down to his shins, he really did look like a woman.

"Say, Reid?" The midnight cross-dressed boy asked out to his sword

(I'm listening Omee?) The sword replied hastily

"Is there a way for me to hide the sword, maybe not confine it per-say, but just keep it from being visible?" Subaru asked both eagerly and curious

To his question, Reid had a slight chuckle, the good-willed mocking kind, one that marveled at the boy, (well ain't Omee in luck!)

"I'm in luck?" The boy wearing a dress asked blankly

(Omee is!) the midnight blade announced

"How so?" Once more, Subaru asking blankly

(Omee's affinity is yin right?) the sword started its line of thought with the nasty-eyed boy

"That's right?" The brown-eyed boy still curious

(And if Yin magic is the type that messes with space and time, then I'm sure there's a spell Omee could use) the sword concluded

"Right so then how do I do that?" Subaru replied sharply

(I dunno, my affinity was fire?) Reid replied slothfully

"What the hell Reid?! Why get my hopes up?!" The jet-black wigged boy asked in annoyance

(Hold on Omee, go to a library or sumthin, I'm sure you could learn a bit there?) The Sword-God replied blankly

"WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO READ A BOOK WHEN I COULD!- hold on, actually that's not so bad of an idea?" Subaru brought his left thumb to his chin

(Told'cha Omee) the sword snickered

"You had one good idea, don't get high on yourself!" the brown-eyed boy kept his faked rage

(Whatever you say Omee) Reid continued his teasing

"Yeah yeah" Subaru dismissed Reid's tease by waving his left hand, "let's just get on our merry way, shall we?"

The smell of old books instantly enveloped the midnight boy, his eyes darted around the huge library. Said library was regarded as the largest in Eastern Kagragi, named after the city it resided in, even Subaru, who came from a world of skyscrapers, was blown away by the sheer size of the building.

There were at least four visible levels from where the raven-haired youth stood. A large gap in the middle with railings to reveal each said layer. Grand pillars spread throughout the building supporting all sides.

(Hey Reid, you can hear me right now, right?) The boy with nasty eyes asked consciously

(Clear as day Omee) Reid responded quickly

Subaru paused staring to the multiple levels, (I think we may have stumbled upon the biggest library on the planet)

Reid too paused, looking through Subarus eyes he got a good glimpse, (you're right Omee, I think it's bigger than the one back at the tower, and that's saying something)

(The Tower?) The brown-eyed, still crossdressed, boy asked curiously to Reid's unknown reference

(Omee should ignore it, for now, Omee'll learn in due time) The sword quickly dismissed Subarus question

(Whatever you say Reid…) Subaru paused once more, looking to the people around him, scholars, teachers, a loli, and a group of students. There were a few important-looking people, dressed in fancy clothing and interesting color schemes, but Subaru dismissed them for over-the-top teachers.

"Where do I even begin?" Subaru blurted out, gaining the glances of no one, the raven-haired youth felt a tad awkward. Hiding the sword under his kilt, the cross-dressed boy took a step to his right.

(Try the main hall Omee) the redhead bound by the sword encouraged

"Worth a shot" The nasty-eyed cross-dresser made his move. Walking towards a large counter, there stood a woman with short blonde hair proofed up. She had a skin tone slightly more tanned than white and bore large circular classes. She had grey eyes and the multiple wrinkles in her skin pointed to her being in her forties. The women read a red book laced with gold.

"Excuse me" Subaru politely walked up to the counter, an innocent looks on his-her face

The blonde woman glanced at Subaru and instantly put her book down, developing a slight smile, "how could I help ya today miss?"

(Miss?- wait never mind) The raven-haired youth retorted his thought, remembering what he looked like.

"Um-" he smiled, "I was wondering where or I guess, if you happen to have a few books on Yin magic, you see I'm new to the city, and the subject really fascinates me"

"Oh ya want to learn about Yin magic?" The lady smiled, reaching out to a pamphlet and handing it to the raven-youth, "here, this pamphlet displays a map of all areas accessible to the public, isle three on the second level covers the basics on the affinity if that's what you're looking for?"

"Yeah, that's it!" The boy-girl smiled, waving his hand in a thankful gesture, "it's a lot of help"

"It'd be my pleasure" the women replied genuinely as Subaru began to walk away.

Taking multiple turns and a journey up a flight of stairs, the nasty-eyed boy was able to make his way to the second floor, however, finding the isle was another story.

"Reid…" flipping the pamphlet sideways and back the crossdresser looked confused

(What's up Omee?) Reid replied earnestly

"You know how to read right?" Subaru asked blankly

To the raven themed boys surprise, Reid began to chuckle, (I might be able to)

"You might?" The nasty eyed youth tilted his head to the side

(Depends on what it says, if I can-) The sword god paused as he looked towards the words displayed through his contractor's vision, pausing for a second and then bursting out in laughter, (no way am I going to be able to read that!)

"What?!" Subaru was hysteric, "GOD HOW USELESS CAN YOU BE?-"

"What is all this commotion I suppose?"

Now staring at the crazed looking crossdresser, the embodiment of all Loli-kind made her entrance

The amethyst merchant let out a sigh of relief, looking to her bed-ridden accomplice she had a warm smile, "It's a good thing yer recoverin' well Rolan"

"Ms. Hoshin... I can't display just how thankful I am towards you…" Rolan, a margrave born in Kagaragi was an apologetic man. Long baby-blue hair, sapphire eyes, and a pale skin tone, he was the spitting image of what a Matthers looked like.

"It's quite alright, ya just gotta refine from doin' stupid things ya know?" The fox-merchant took no attempt in sugar-coating her words, after all she was right.

The blue-themed man sighed, "Your right, it was idiotic for me toooo lose my calm like that, I just coooouldn't hold myself back, not after Sloth, not after all that heee's done"

Anastasia had an apologetic expression on her face, she was staring at a man who had lost, she could attempt to comfort him, but the fox merchant knew better than to get close to her business partners without a greater interest at hand. Even if the subject matter was clearly not defined by the art of the deal the green-eyed girl couldn't risk building a personal relationship.

"It's okay Rolan, ya did what anyone of us woulda done" Were the only words that the girl dressed in a hunter's pride could deliver.

Rolan gazed at Anastasia then looked back to his chest, sighing he moved his lips, "Tellll that boy… Telll him I'm thankful"

Anastasia smiled, "will do"

The margrave sighed, then leaning his head back to his pillow, he began to shut his eyes, "I'lll be sure to pay you back by the week's end"

"hm" the violet-haired merchant confirmed, slowly getting up and moving towards the door of the margrave's recovery room, she looked one last time at Rolan who stared blankly at the wall opposite to his bed. The merchant CEO sighed and made her way through the door.

Now walking down the halls, the amethyst girl made her way to the front entrance of the hospital, her eyes darted to the doors, Anastasia was surprised by the greetings of the silver-haired seller-merchant to her left side.

"Ms. Hoshin, it's a pleasure seeing you here" The boy covered in green announced as he met her to her side

"Ah, Otto was it?" Looking to his shoe-ware and back to his face, the fox merchant made her assessment.

"Ah- that's right" Otto who seemed troubled by Anastasia's forgetful demeanor towards him replied sheepishly, taken aback.

"Ah well then, what pleasure do I owe ya?" The green-eyed merchant got right to her point

The green-covered man moved his arm to the back of his head, "Well at first, I was going to visit him alone, but now that you're here I was wondering if you'd like to visit Natsuki-Kun with me?"

"hmm, Subaru eh?" placing her hand to her chin, the purple-haired merchant paused for a second, "Knowing him, the guys probably been bored outta his mind" Her face now turning to a smirk

Otto nodded in agreement, "He's quite the eccentric figure, and well, a real pain in the butt if you ask me"

"Totally, th' guys got no sense of self-control whatsoever" The merchant CEO replied, a tone full of mockery

"Then it's best not to daddle, Natsuki-Kun's probably developed some elaborate scheme to break free of his boredom" The fair toned man announced

Anastasia giggled in agreement towards their mutual persona over Subaru, she'd make sure to mock the raven-haired youth along the way, in a playful manner of course.

The two merchants walked along the path towards Halibel's house, now in viewing distance, the house was no more than three hundred feet away.

"wait, so that's really how your dispute in Banan went down?" The shocked Otto asked in disbelief

"Well, as a merchant it wasn't exactly my self's proudest moment, but it definitely set the Hoshin Trading Company on track ta were it is ta' day" Anastasia noted, a hint of pride in her tone

"Wow that's super impressive Ms. Anastasia, I wish I could be as good as you!" The silver-eyed lesser merchant replied in praise

"It's all about opportunities Otto. Best way to describe it is if ya start thinkin' bout the business like it's a battlefield. Ya could always get hit near-sighted, or from behind, but as long as yer lookin' for the right area to strike and at a good time, then ya should do just fine" The merchant queen relayed her grand gesture

"I know that…" Otto sighed, "It's just things look like they come so easy for you"

"It looks like that now because I suffered in the beginning, wasn't easy startin from zero ya'know? All the blood, sweat, and tears, without em I wouldn't be even as half as successful as I am today" Anastasia proudly exclaimed

Otto gained a look of admiration in his eyes, "You're right Ms. Hoshin"

"Course I am, wouldn't be if I couldn' explain so easily" As the green-eyed girl wrapped up their end of the conversation, the two merchants reached Halibel's household, guarded by a stone wall and gate, the two were able to rely on a key Otto had obtained.

"That wolfmen's too trusty" Anastasia spoke first

"Halibel-Sama knows me is all" Otto spoke as he twisted the key into the gate

"I guess, but th' guy knew ya for a day or so?" The amethyst merchant kept her approach

"As Natsuki-Kun would state it, 'Two days of incredible bonding time, in which complete strangers came together as one to succeed in a ciommon goal'" The green covered merchant replied in a mocking tone

The fox shook her head and paused for a moment, easily deciphering the raven-boys speech.

"I had the same reaction…" Otto replied in a mumbled tone

The gate now open. Otto and Anastasia made their way up the short garden path and to the doors of the house. Said house wasn't small, but by no means was it large either. The house is what Anastasia would describe as being comfortable and easily able to accommodate every standard of living for the common man. The house had a western Kagaragi style to it, little to no arches but a lot of squarage to it. Themed in dark blues and blacks, the house matched Halibel's choice in clothing and seemed as if it were made for the wolfman.

"Say Otto-san, what does Halibel do for a livin'?" The merchant queen asked curiously tilting her head

"Ah Halibel? I think he works with the authorities, but I'm not sure myself. Why do you ask?" Otto looked back to the girl in a hunters pride

"No real reason, just a passin' curiosity is all" Anastasia moved back to stare at the large dark wooden door

The silver-haired man nodded in reply, "I get that", Now reaching out with his fist's curled, Otto knocked on the door

Knock, knock

But nobody came

"That's weird?" Otto blurted out

"Maybe th' guys asleep?" the head of the Hoshin company replied earnestly

The silver-eyed man sighed for a second before knocking for a second time

Knock, knock, knock

But still, nobody came

"Okay this is ridiculous; the guy doesn't have anything to do all day?!" Otto raged a bit

"hmp" Anastasia looked back to Otto, "Calm yerself down, ain't that big of a deal"

The merchant covered in green shook his head once more, "Remind me to get Halibel to scold him later"

"Why not do it yer'self?" She replied blankly

Otto paused for a second considering his options before sighing, "Whatever, your right"

One last time the Merchants would knock

Knock

Knock

Knock

But to no avail, nobody came

"Okay, now this is ridiculous!" The fox merchant finally lost her chill, "Subaru, get yer sorry butt out here, we came all this way ta see you and yer ignoring us!?" Anastasia yelled placing her hands to her face, eyes angry.

But there was no response, followed by an awkward silence

"You know, it's a possibility he isn't home?" Otto finally blurted out

The merchant queen paused for a moment once more, looking back to Otto, and then to the door, "Only one way ta find out"

The merchant bearing a green cap nodded solemnly and proceeded to unlock the dark door.

Nobody was home, the two merchants looked around the entire house, only stopping at Halibel's room. Otto and Anastasia searched high and low, but even with their combined effort, the only trace of Natsuki Subaru was a strange, couch-looking structure, a few booklets and notes, and a ball of some sort.

Sighing Otto leaned back against the wall, an exasperated expression.

But Anastasia on the other hand, she couldn't believe what she was seeing, "no way…"

The green-laced merchant lifted a brow, "what's the matter, Ms. Anastasia?"

"It's just…" the merchant queen paused as she lifted a few pieces of Subaru's papers, "I've never heard of a single person bein' able to read Hoshins language, let alone write in it!"

"Huh?" Otto's eyes widened, "just what do you mean by that?!"

"Look a this!" The amethyst-themed girl lifted the papers in view of Otto, "It's a perfect match!"

The silver-eyed man looked to the side before quickly turning back and moving to hold the papers, "well I've never seen Hoshins writing, but this must be a great feat for Natsuki-Kun?"

"Probably not" Anastasia paused, "it might be his home language ya'know?" The fox merchant suggested

"There's a possibility. Where was He from again? Natsuki-Kun that is" the green-capped seller looked to Anastasia

"Where was he from?" Even the head of the Hoshin company had to ask herself this question…

"An island nation to the far east?" Anastasia answered in an unconfident tone

"But as far as I know Lugnica's the furthermost nation to the east of the continent?" Otto looked back deterred

The green-eyed merchant put a finger to her chin before her eyes began to grow bright, "Continent.. and Subaru-Kun said he was from an island nation… Otto, ya think our very own Natsuki Subaru could be from beyon' the great cascade?"

"Don't gawk at Betty like that I suppose" demanded an angry little girl

"I wasn't, you just caught my eye is all, I suppose" one minute into their conversation and Subaru had already mimicked the red-dressed girl. The raven-haired boy had a decent expectation of how these things would work, 'on the outside the loli put on a cold and bitter persona. But once you get to know said loli, she ends up being sweet and welcoming' such were the laws of the tsundere loli, one of the most intriguing but predictable species of the isekai genre.

"Caught your eye? What a foolish decision I suppose!" The drill haired girl announced

"Whatever Betty says I suppose" Subaru keeping up with his mockery

"Are you mocking Betty?!" The butterfly-eyed girl questioned in a harsh tone

"I am" the bearer of Ryjuk replied blankly

"Why you- you infuriating man! it was a mistake! A mistake for Betty to talk to you I suppose!" The girl seemed frustrated, had Subaru been to harsh on the girl in his attempts to lower her defense

The nasty-eyed boy chuckled for a second putting his hands into his dresses pockets, "my bad, I just tend to-"

"Get out of Betty's sight!" Demanding, the girl themed in a royal red moved her left hand towards the cross-dressing, almost as if a burst of stars appeared, surrounding Betty's hand mana accelerated and pushed the raven-hared youth away from the yellow loli.

Now pushed back Subaru went flying over the edge of the rails, taking a moment to consider what had just happened.

"This isn't good" The nasty-eyed boy announced, arms folded the top of his head facing downwards, the hazel-eyed youth predicated he had ten seconds before he would hit the ground.

Three seconds in and the panic had finally made its move, provoking Subaru to pull out his purple cladded katana, he would stab a wall near him, that was his best bet before-

The boy fell through a portal, the motion of the fall still intact as the nasty-eyed boy enveloped in a dress hit the hard wooden ground.

"Owwwww" Subaru let out as he lay looking to the side, the breath knocked out of his lungs, the raven youth's vision was getting fuzzy.

"Don't complain I suppose, your lucky Betty realized her mistake head-on-" The drill hared girl began to speak but was cut off as the nasty boy shut his eyes, giving into the darkness

"Hey- hey what is the meaning of this?- Betty is sure that.." His ears numbed, he couldn't hear her

"do you…. Still love me?" The voice called out from beyond the void

Love you? I'd die for you over and over- but he had no mouth and so he could not speak

"do you… still want to see me?"

See you? I'd sacrifice my entire being just to get a glance- but he had no eyes and so he could not view her

"do you… still want to feel me?"

To feel your touch? I'd raise an entire nation to the ground, burn it ablaze just to gain your company- but he had no hands and so he could not reach for her

"do you.. sti-"

"Do ya want to shut the fuck up already?" The loud, slightly irritating, obnoxious, intervention of the Sword God came.

Subaru could finally breathe, the darkness began to fade, and the floor turned white, falling from a position of floating, Subaru could think clearly, he could see, he could smell, he could hear, he was… alive.

A figure, a horrible, disheartening, dominating creature backed away, its shadowy body moving in a disgusting way, as it backed up it looked to Subaru and then, to the god of the sword, Reid Astrea himself.

"You.." was all the creature managed to blurt out, a horrible distortion in its voice, as if a thousand souls spoke the same words at once

Reid smiled, his red hair flew easily, a sharp grin accompanied by decisive eyes.

"You wish to take him from me, just as they did?" The thousand souled creature spoke.

The Sword god now displaying his pearly whites chuckled, "It's the same thing with you, every time, but yeah, yer right for once, I am takin the kid away"

"How dare you?!"

"How dare, dare, dare, dare, dare, DARE you take my love away from me, the one who I so solemnly claimed was mine, the only one for me, how could you be so cruel-" The creature enveloped in shadows was cut off by a slightly pissed Astrea,

"Cruelty, you wanna talk about cruelty? Last I checked forcing the kid to die over and over is the definition of cruelty!" Reid roared

"But-" The creature, who Subaru could now slightly make how to be a women's outline paused, "But I- I do it because I love him because he needs too"

The red-head chuckled once more, "Need's too? The only thing th' kid needs is to get the hell away from you!"

"I- you-" At a loss the creature began to retreat, taking one last glance at Subaru it would make its final statement, "Even if you don't, or never do, even if you scold me and cast me away, I will always love, love, love, love, love, love, LOVE you-"

"Get lost" Reid waved his hand and the creature disappeared, vanishing before the two

"Reid…" Subaru paused, bringing himself up from the ground, he looked at the Sword God, "Who- no just what was that?"

The fiery man looked to the side, gazing to the distance where the creature had just been before looking back to the Raven-hared boy, "That Omee, was the witch of Envy, the one who brought you here"

"Brought me here, wait so she's my sum-" But the boy was paused for the darkness overtook him, he would forget, of course, his interaction with the witch, Reid's intervention, and the stunning revelation.

-A warm fuzzy feeling were the only words Natsuki Subaru could describe himself as feeling

Now regaining his consciousness, the darkness leaving him, Subaru opened his eyes, his vision blurred he blinked a few times noticing bright colors in his view, red and yellow dominating each area respectfully. Now a visible outline the bearer of Rjyuk noticed that it was none other than- "THE LOLI?!".

Getting up, Subaru made no waste into getting on his two feet and getting to a defensive stance, hand on sword he readied himself. But to the young man's confusion the girl stared at him blankly, not taken aback one bit, and where she stood- sat, laps outward, couch-bound, the nasty-eyed boy was slowly but surely able to piece together what the girl had done for him.

"you-" The cross-dressed boy paused

"That's right I suppose, Betty healed yo-" But the girl, as dealing with all of Subaru's antics was interrupted

"YOU GAVE ME MY FIRST LAP PILLOW?!" The cross-dressed boy announced the 'shocking' revelation, hands in the air, he was comparable to a pouting toddler

"Betty did wha- wait no, what a nasty thi-" Once more interrupted Subaru tore into the drill hared loli

"It was supposed to be Ana-Tan! oh, how cruel this world treats me" Now on his knees, the hazel-eyed youth was in praying pose, "Why forsake me, good lord? For what have I done to earn such a fat-"

"Just be grateful I suppose" The mean girl interrupted the obnoxious boy's ramblings

"Not like you have a place to talk" Subaru with his cheeks puffy and his tone hurt, made his response

The butterfly-eyed girl took no time in retracting his speech and inputting her own, "How idiotic can you be I suppose!?" she paused, "Honestly, Betty takes her own time to heal you? and this is how you repay her!?"

"YOU SHOT ME DOWN THREE FLOORS!" The cross-dresser retorted

"BETTY WOULDN'T HAVE LET YOU DIE I SUPPOSE!" The girl roared

the two practically screaming at each other both took a pause to break, both out of breath the two staired at each other and to follow them, an awkward silence.

"…"

Subaru made the first move, "Sorry about that"

The loli about to open her mouth paused, looking to the side and then back she opened her mouth once more, "It's fine in fact, both Betty and…. You, seemed to have lost their temper I suppose"

"You can say that again…" Subaru now rubbed the back of his head relaxing his stance

"…"

"So say, Betty, what type of magic was that?"

"Oh" The girl seemed to brighten up at the question, "Aside from healing you with water magic, Betty is a great spirit of yin magic in fact, when she sent you away, and when Betty retrieved you, it was through yin magic I suppose"

Subaru's eyes grew wide, "Yin magic?"

"Yes what of it-" But the loli's hands were grabbed by the nasty eyed boy with a sudden boost of energy

"Please Beako, teach me everything you know!" The boy announced full of astonishment

"Everything? And what's this Beako I suppose? Betty cannot recall ever giving you per-" But she was cut off as the raven-haired cross-dresser raised her to the sky

"This is great, it's awesome, thirty minutes into the day's adventure and I've already found a tutor!" The brown, nasty-eyed boy announced full of awe and pride.

"P-put Betty down in fact! This instant!" Betty grew a large blush on her now distressed but embarrassed face

"I'm super siked to have such a great teacher like beako!" The boy continued his nonsense, refusing to acknowledge the loli

Now looking to the side, the drill-hared loli grew a warily smile unbenounced to the gloating Subaru, "Could you be Betty's they?" the spirit of yin asked through her soft mumbling. Afterall if the nasty-eyed boy could prove he was the spirits they, four-hundred years of waiting could finally be justified

Walking into the main lobby of her trading company's current residence, Anastasia frowned, dropping her beg to the side and walking in with an exhausted expression,

"Turn's out Subaru-kun's ran away again, Ricardo I'm gonna need ya ta-'" but the merchant queen paused, for Infront of her, who sat on the coach was not Ricardo, (who was on the opposing coach) but instead the duke himself, Lucius Cornmen

The fat blonde man of status smiled sadistically, and turned his head to face the fox-merchant, "Lady Anastasia, if I must inquire, just who is the Subaru you speak of?"
