The remnants of the Freeborn Collective and the Sentinel Order regrouped aboard the battered flagship, the void outside still swirling with the terrifying presence of the Voidborn.
Titan stood over a holographic projection of the rift, lines of energy pulsing wildly.
"The Council's experiments destabilized the fabric of space-time," Lira said, analyzing streams of data. "If we don't seal the rift, these creatures will spread like a cancer."
Kaela clenched her fists. "How do we close it?"
Lira's light dimmed slightly. "There's a prototype device on one of the Council's research stations—a graviton disruptor designed to collapse the rift. But it's heavily guarded."
Titan's jaw tightened. "Then that's our mission. We take the disruptor, and we end this."
Merek stepped forward, mask shadowed. "It won't be easy. The station is a fortress, and the Council knows we're coming."
Titan nodded, determination burning in his eyes. "We don't have a choice."
As the Voidborn roared outside, the crew prepared for a mission that could save the galaxy—or doom it forever.
