Everyone around Kiyotaka began clamouring.
Lacchins: [Did you hear that?]
Kiyotaka: [Who are you again?]

Lacchins was gritting his teeth in pure fury when Sirius clapped her hands loudly.
Sirius: [Okay, that's quite enough!]
That caught everyone's attention.

He swapped places with the Pellet as he kicked Sirius through the building. He stood there for a second as he heard someone pushing rubble off themselves, and he clicked his tongue.
Kiyotaka: [Not dead yet, huh?]
Suddenly, he saw everyone down in the crowd feel a slight pain in their chests in the exact spot he had kicked Sirius.
Kiyotaka: (Hm? Resonance? Very well. That means death is not suitable for this opponent, at least for now. I don't think I have to worry about myself since I don't feel even the slightest emotion right now.)
Sirius walked out.
Sirius: [Betelguese?]
Kiyotaka's eye twitched at the mention of his name.
Kiyotaka: [What?]
Sirius: [Betelgeuse, my love!]
Kiyotaka: (Wait, is that the sound of a child behind her?)
Sirius approached Kiyotaka, who backed off slightly.
Kiyotaka: (The only way to defeat her is by knocking her out. Any use of excessive force will end up causing unnecessary injuries to civilians. Not a good situation.)
Kiyotaka sighed.
Kiyotaka: (This ability she has is likely the『Authority Of Wrath』. Someone who can bypass that『Authority』could be Liliana or Pricilla, but leaving to find them even for a second could go badly for the child behind her and for the people down there.)
Kiyotaka then softened his face.

Sirius squeeled a little.

Kiyotaka dismissed his blade as he kept a small chunk of earth gripping it in his hand as he flicked it at Sirius, hitting her in the temple as she stumbled back stunned.
Sirius: [Ahh!!! Why, my love?]
Kiyotaka: [Earth Smith Arts!]
Kiyotaka formed a steel ball as he grabbed the child and threw her off the tower. He jumped off the tower, throwing the steel ball down as he grabbed the child with one arm as they fell, as the child screamed, clinging to Kiyotaka. The steel ball hit the ground.
Kiyotaka: [『Transfer』.]
Kiyotaka changed places with the ball that had already stopped moving as they were safely on the ground. He then caught the ball that had fallen again and knelt down.
Kiyotaka: [Here, take this. If you are being chased and need to hide. Throw this to distract the person so you can run away.]
The girl nodded with tears in her eyes as she took the steel ball and ran away.
Kiyotaka: (I can't repeat this tactic and she's likely got the other child as a hostage now, but saving one child in a hopeless situation is better than saving neither.)

Kiyotaka ran up the tower to see Sirius.

Kiyotaka looked to see a boy in her chains.
Kiyotaka: (They're wrapped around him, so using『Transfer』on the chains isn't a good idea. I need to take Sirius out of the city. After all this『Authority』might have a set range. Ichika fired multiple flaming shards of rock that were spinning at her attacker.
The attacks created craters with every hit, as her attacker hid behind a wall.
Ichika: [Come out, come out, and get ready to be pelted with flaming rocks.]
A slash of wind raced at Ichika as a shard of stone blocked the attack, as a manastring ran, finding the trajectory and locking on as it followed the mana string curving around the wall, aiming at the attacker's hand, who looked shocked before swatting the shard, breaking it.
???: [Oh my oh my oh my. What a delectable meal. A Gourmet!!!]
Ichika: [Who are you?]
???: I am the『Sin Archbishop』of the Witch's Cult, representing『Gluttony』...]
The『Sin Archbishop』bared his sharp, pointed teeth at her.
『Sin Archbishop』: [Lye Baitonkaitos!]
Ichika: [Gluttony... I see.]
She smirked at him.
Ichika: [I know my figure must look absolutely delicious, but I can assure you that I won't be losing this fight.]
Lye: [Eh?]
Ichika's spinning shards of stone locked onto Lye as they raced after him. Lye ran through the streets, making turns, but he found that the stones were chasing him.
Lye: [What? Are they alive?]
Lye smashed them to pieces only to see more coming at him.
Lye: [How can she still fire them at me when I'm not in sight!?]
Lye slashed them to bits.
Lye: [What delicious prey!!! What a feast! A feast, I tell you!]
Ichika: [Ul Gona!]
Suddenly, Lye saw a huge boulder on fire falling from above him.
Lye: [Eh?]
Lye begins trying to get clear when Ichika appears in front of him.
Lye: [How did you?]
Ichika: [Ul Goa!]
Ichika set fire to that gap between the house, and Lye dodged into another space between the house when he came face to face with Ichika.
Lye: [How can you be in two places at once?]
Ichika had used Earth Clones. The giant flaming boulder above them suddenly disappeared.
Lye: [A trick.]
Ichika: [You've bitten off more than you can chew. Now, die of obesity!]
Ichika hold her hands out.
Ichika: [Ul Goa! Ul Hyuma! Ul Shiha! Ul Dona! Ul Fura!]
The five spells intertwined, hitting Lye, who blocked with his blades, but they broke, and he got knocked through multiple buildings.
Ichika then floated up and looked to the destruction she had caused.
Ichika: [Now to confirm that he's dead. Then I can go find Onii-sama.]

Kiyotaka looked to Sirius, who got up and walked to him.
Sirius: [You're being so cruel, my love, but I'll forgive you. You're being tempted by some audacious bitch. I'll find her and turn her to ash to free you.]
Kiyotaka: (I have to deal with this situation quickly.)
Kiyotaka: [Earth Smith Arts!]
Kiyotaka held his hand out.
Kiyotaka: [Ever since I came to this world, I've suddenly gotten chances to experience things from my world that I never got to try there. Which is strange, but I think I'll go with the flow.]
Kiyotaka held a baseball bat in his hand.
Kiyotaka: [I've never tried Baseball before, and your brain's the perfect size to substitute for a baseball. Unfortunately, I'll have to swing at something else for now.]
Sirius: [Hm? Don't you reciprocate my love? After all, love should mean that we both feel the same.]
Kiyotaka: [Not at all. Love doesn't work that way. The way a man loves a woman and the way a woman loves a man are two different things. If you don't realise that, then there's no reason for me to even discuss it further with you.]
Kiyotaka says this, swinging his bat and hitting Sirius in the stomach as he sends her flying. He notices the people around him reeling in pain, but snapping out of it as if freed. He jumps after Sirius when he sees something in the distance. He saw the man who was presumably Regulus Corneas chasing Emilia through the streets.
Kiyotaka: (That changes my priorities.)
Kiyotaka points his finger at Regulus.
Kiyotaka: [El Gona!]
A mana string attaches to the fiery stone shard and to Regulus as Kiyotaka fires the attack. It struck him dead centre only to shatter.
Kiyotaka: (Just as Crusch said.)
The man went on to see Kiyotaka, and a second later, Kiyotaka felt a disturbance in the flow of Mana. right as the man waved his hand at him. Kiyotaka fired another shard of stone off to the side.
Kiyotaka: [『Transfer』.]
He swapped places with the shard. He watched as the bird behind him was shredded by a force of wind.
Kiyotaka: (The velocity of that attack. It's constant. How?)
Kiyotaka fell through a building as he got up slowly.
Kiyotaka: (Sirius should be knocked out for a few minutes, and I need to save Lia.)

Emilia ran through the streets looking for Kiyotaka, as she knew she couldn't face this man alone and win.
Man: [Oh, come now. Don't run away.]
Emilia: [I will not marry you. Leave me alone.]
Man: [Isn't that rude? To reject a man's proposal so cruelly? Well, I'll forgive your need for me to chase you a little.]
Then Kiyotaka arrived.
Emilia: [Kiyo!]
Kiyotaka: [Sorry about leaving you alone with this guy.]
The man looked at him with anger.
Man: [Who are you to speak with my wife so casually?]
Kiyotaka: [Wife?]
Kiyotaka wrapped his arms around Emilia.
Kiyotaka: [She's mine. I'll never give her to you.] AN: Imagine Miyamura & Hori from Horimiya.
(Just joking. He did not say that.)
Kiyotaka: [Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Knight of Emilia.]
Regulus: [Emilia... what a lovely name.]
Kiyotaka: (As I thought, He's that type.)
Regulus: [Shall we leave this rude individual, Emilia?]
Emilia: [No way.]
Man: [Ah, maybe you wish not to marry me because you don't know me well? I suppose I was rude. I am a『Sin Archbishop』of the Witch's Cult representing『Greed』Regulus Corneas.]
Kiytoaka: (As I thought.)
Emilia: [It really is you. You did such horrible things to Crusch-San and Wilhelm-san!]
Regulus: [Now listen here. Isn't it rude to assume I am responsible for their suffering when it was clearly that ruffian brat who loves violence and gourmet so much? I say that this is a violation of my rights!!!]
Kiyotaka appeared in front of him, slamming his leg into Regulus's face, sending him flying through a building.
Kiyotaka: [You talk too much.]
Kiyotaka turned to Emilia.
Kiyotaka: [Time for you to get out of here, Lia. Stay hidden and away from him.]
Regulus walked through the collapsed building.
Regulus: [Now listen here? Must you be so rude to such an innocent person as I? How many times must you violate my rights?]
Regulus waved his hand as Emilia jumped at Kiyotaka, forcing him to the ground as the wind sliced through multiple buildings.
Kiyotaka: [Nice save. But you need to go. Now.]
Emilia hesitated but began running.
Kiyotaka: [Earth Smith Arts.]
Kiyotaka formed to Khopesh blades in his hands as he ran at Regulus, slashing him with one blade after the other, with them shattering. He jumped back, tuning out Regulus's rant.
Kiyotaka: [Earth Smith Arts.]
Kiyotaka reformed his swords.
Kiyotaka: (Nothing? Again? Isn't there a cooldown? How long can he keep it up? His eyes. There's so much confidence in them. Is it something he can have on perpetually? How do I kill him then?)
Regulus suddenly appeared next to him.
Kiyotaka: (This speed. He can apply the constant velocity to himself?!!)
Regulus punched him as Kiyotaka cross-blocked with his swords, only to be sent flying through a building. Kiyotaka groaned as the shattered bits of his sword were sticking out of his skin.
Kiyotaka: (Ugh. This guy. He's on a different level from the enemies I've fought before. If it were me back then, I would already be dead.)
Kiyotaka took a look at what remained of his blade.
Kiyotaka: (What? A single drop of blood.)
Kiyotaka then thought about it.
Kiyotaka: (Did I manage to cut him? No. It's likely my own blood.)
He quickly patted his uniform clean, taking out a chunk of wood from his leg and gripping it tightly in his hand.
Kiyotaka: (Taking my woman and declaring he'll marry her...)
He crushed the piece of wood in his hand as all of the pieces of wood fell to the ground.
Kiyotaka: (...I'll murder him.)
