Kolton's deep laughter cut through the tension in the room as he watched Kimi's stunned expression. The irony wasn't lost on him that she seemed to have forgotten her true allegiance to the Arcane Phantom Pack rather than his enemy territory.
"Pack your bags and get back where you belong. I'm offering you time to consider your options carefully. Consider this your final warning from your head Alpha. Cross me again, and I'll strip both you and your mother of pack membership permanently."
Fire blazed in her eyes as she stepped forward defiantly. "Don't you dare threaten her! Banish me if that's what you want, but leave my mother out of this. She's the widow of your former Gamma. How can you even consider such cruelty?"
The dangerous glint in Kolton's dark eyes intensified. "Consider it? I can make it reality. Test me if you doubt it."
Without another word, he spun on his heel and strode toward the exit, leaving her standing there trembling with rage.
