"You seem less than thrilled to see me."
Kimi's head shook frantically in response. His frown deepened as he pressed further.

"No, that's not what I meant at all! Yes, I'm happy!" The words tumbled from her lips in a rush.
A satisfied smirk curved his mouth, clearly enjoying her flustered reaction to his presence.

Yet something about the way the dark jeans hugged his frame and the black hoodie emphasized his broad shoulders made him devastatingly attractive. Heat crept up her neck when she realized he'd caught her obvious appraisal. She jerked her attention elsewhere.
