"Wow, you really did it! You took down the tenth progenitor that fast! Too bad I'm the thirteenth; I couldn't have beaten him. Without you, we'd have been completely wiped out," Crowley Eusford exclaimed, clapping in admiration.

"Oh really? I don't think so," Aoki responded, shaking his head. In terms of pure combat power, Crowley Eusford already surpassed Fuola Honte.

Despite being the thirteenth progenitor, his strength was nearly on par with Ferid Bathory, the seventh. Aoki didn't understand the reason, and didn't bother to investigate further.

However, Crowley Eusford's following statement resolved his doubts. "Oh, you figured that out? It's true. By rank, the thirteenth progenitor, myself, absolutely couldn't defeat the tenth, Fuola Honte . But due to certain circumstances, my strength is actually comparable to the seventh progenitor."

"But don't get too cocky after defeating the tenth. While you might easily handle the seventh, the one guarding Ferid Bathory and the queen is the fifth progenitor."

The fifth progenitor, though weaker than Krul Tepes, was stronger than Ferid Bathory and Crowley Eusford. Aoki hadn't fully recovered yet. While confident he could handle the fifth, he preferred to act with Yūichirō Hyakuya and the others.

He wouldn't act rashly without absolute certainty—a lesson learned the hard way at Nagoya.

Nevertheless, he was willing to give it a try.

After Crowley Eusford led Yūichirō Hyakuya and the others into the mansion, Aoki didn't follow. Instead, he secretly activated the Flying Raijin kunai he'd left on the bus, returning to where Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes were being tortured.

The other vampires had left, leaving only Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes suffering under the sun's scorching rays, and Ky Luc, the fifth progenitor, guarding them.

The moment Aoki appeared, Ky Luc noticed him and rose from the ground.

As Aoki slowly emerged from the bus, tension filled the air. Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes, despite their ordeal, could see him.

Krul Tepes had a strong impression of Aoki from their encounter at Nagoya. Although she had won, and Aoki had fled, it was the most frustrating battle of her life, leaving her with negative feelings towards him.

Ferid Bathory, however, felt differently. Even if things deviated from the plan, as long as Aoki saved him, his plan could continue.

"Human, you came here with Ferid Bathory. I gave you a chance to leave. Why did you return?" Ky Luc asked with a smile, remarkably similar to Ferid Bathory's.

"Ding!"

Ky Luc:

Identity: Fifth Progenitor of the Vampires

Personality: Optimistic

Skills: Unknown

Combat Power: 14852 points

Overall Assessment: SSS-level

Aoki's confidence increased. With his near-equal combat power and various trump cards, defeating Ky Luc shouldn't be a problem, even with his incomplete recovery.

"Honestly, only that boy and the dark-skinned one posed a real threat. You're not bad, but you can't beat me," Aoki said calmly.

Ky Luc laughed. Aoki was one of the few humans who dared to be so insolent to a fifth progenitor. The title alone intimidated many, yet Aoki claimed he couldn't be defeated—utterly ridiculous.

Unwilling to waste time on a single human, Ky Luc charged, launching a powerful punch at Aoki.

Aoki responded by forming a Rasengan with one hand.

The moment their attacks collided, the Rasengan exploded, sending both of them reeling back. However, Aoki retreated further than Ky Luc, indicating Ky Luc had gained a slight advantage.

Despite this minor victory, Ky Luc wasn't proud; he was astonished.

Aoki had taken a direct hit and was still alive—an extremely rare occurrence in Ky Luc's millennia as a vampire. And Aoki seemed completely unharmed—unprecedented.

Ky Luc finally understood; Aoki hadn't challenged him without a plan; he truly possessed the strength to fight him.

Ky Luc now took Aoki seriously.

Knowing he couldn't win in his current state, Aoki stood motionless, eyes closed, appearing to await death.

Ky Luc, despite his extensive combat experience, was hesitant to attack; Aoki might be employing a deceptive tactic, luring him into an attack.

Time ticked by. Finally, Aoki opened his eyes, orange markings appearing beneath his eyebrows.

"Sage Mode!"

Aoki had been absorbing natural energy to activate Sage Mode, a skill he'd chosen after the Nagoya battle, using it for the first time.

"This is Sage Mode," Aoki murmured. His perception of nature had undergone a dramatic improvement.

He charged at Ky Luc, delivering a swift punch.

"Too slow," Ky Luc easily evaded the punch. Just as he anticipated a counterattack, he received a powerful blow to the face, sending him flying.

He landed, staggering but recovering, still unsure how Aoki had managed to land a blow while he was dodging.

Before he could react, a Flying Raijin kunai appeared at his feet, and Aoki materialized before him, a Rasengan larger than a basketball forming in his hand.

"Sage Art: Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan!"

The massive Rasengan, shining like a meteor, was unleashed with incredible speed. Ky Luc couldn't react, unable even to raise his hands to defend himself.

The attack struck his abdomen directly, sending him flying a hundred meters.
