Jae-Chun whistled at the show of destruction, and the threat made him shiver, he wanted to know what Alaric was capable off, he had seen his brute strength and he knew if he gets caught by his attacks he was dead, despite his hunter level being Country, the defensive spell that was imbedded into his clothes was paper thin to attacks like the one Alaric had sent his way.
He unfolded his hands and did a hand sign. "Not many pushes me to do this." His aura flowed freely within him and outside before it gave birth to his skill, from one to two, to three, to four and then countless Jae-Chun became, all of his clones had the same features as him and all grinned when he grinned. Jae-Chun jumped into action coupling his clones with his red sparrow skill, him and his clones approached Alaric and began their relentless assaults.
Alaric's eyes moved back and forth, right to left trying to figure out the real opponent amongst the clones, he braced himself as the swords kept chipping away at his scales causing him to bleed, annoyed by the attacks and being unable to locate the real Jae-Chun, Alaric opened his mouth and let out a massive roar which was followed behind by a massive blast of aura which cleared through the clones and forced Jae-Chun to retreat a safe distance from the attack.
He landed where he was earlier and looked at his arm, the attack had reached him despite being that far from the blast radius, the simple task given to him by his master proved to not be as simple as he had anticipated, the man he was fighting was showing inhumane level of resistance and attacks even for him as a country level hunter, he could barely avoid it at top speed, something that should've been impossible since he was relativistic at full speed.
"Hahaha, you've exceeded every expectation that I had. I'm glad I brought this with me." Jae-Chun said as he reached into his pouch and retrieved a red pill, he swallowed it and began to laugh like a madman.
Alaric was forced to shield his eyes when a powerful column of aura exploded form the man, his eyes widened when he felt the sinister aura he felt during his one on one with Black, and in the tower earlier that day. "You have that foul presence too." He spat as he commanded the system inventory to open up and one of the twin blades of darkness fell into his hands.
"Sentinel analyze him and." Alaric told the system in his body as he watched the column of aura shrink into a sphere.
[ Aura levels near monster level, his vitals are no longer functioning, energy reading estimated to be sufficient to destroy an entire city and they keep rising,]
Sentinel's analysis charts appeared in Alaric's view, Alaric lowered his body into a squatting position, the dagger held by his side as darkness oozed from the dagger. He wanted to one hit the sphere without causing too much damage to the surroundings. Breathing in, he charged up and in a blink, Alaric shot toward the sphere, his dagger cut through the cocoon of energy creating an explosion that rattled through the forest creating massive shockwaves which destroyed some of the trees around them. Alaric landed on the ground and turned around to see Jae-Chun standing there gladded in crimson aura, having not taken damage from the attack.
Jae-Chun chuckled, his laughter sending ripples through the air. He did hand signs and a puff of smoke covered him, when it died down, he was not there much to the shock of Alaric who felt an attack hit him from the back sending him crashing into the crater he had created when he missed his punch earlier. The ground lifted and some of it separated from the main body creating the abyss that wanted to swallow Alaric as Jae-Chun instructed.
Alaric held the crushing earth with both hands stopping his body from going down further into the abyss like mouth. His eyes glowed red and flames ignited from his hands and they exploded outward creating an even bigger gap on the ground freeing him from the trap Jae-Chun made for him. He jumped out from the hole and dusted his pants only to raise his dagger as Jae-Chun's sword clashed with his, Alaric parried the attack only to catch a roundhouse kick on the side of the face sending him tumbling a considerable distance away from where they were fighting. Jae-Chun appeared above Alaric and delivered a devastating heel kick sending Alaric crashing inti the trees and the ground.
Alaric cough and picked himself up, his eyes roamed the dense forest that had surrounded him, his senses elevated to supernatural levels allowing him to hear even a needle dropping, but it was too quiet, no signs of breathing, nothing. Alaric caught something shining from the trees and shifted his center of gravity bending backwards and the shuriken(s) from the darkness flew over his body and they stabbed the back of the tree across him, his eyes widened when he saw the papers tied on the thin wire that was connected to the shuriken(s). "Shit!"
A ball of fire ignited as the papers exploded creating a dwarfing cloud of smoke. Jae-Chun landed next to the crater the explosion had made. "This power!!! Is so magnificent, I can feel it, I'm unstoppable." Jae-Chun chuckled as he clenched his fingers loving how the power he had felt within his veins.
"You voice is starting to annoy me." Jae-Chun stopped and watched with disbelief as Alaric emerged from the explosion smoke with his shirt destroyed having taken minimal damage. He couldn't believe that his attack which had enough explosive power to kill a SS monster had little to no effect on him.
"Impossible."
Alaric chuckled as he full stepped out of the cloud of dust and smoke, his eyes having a dragon-like look to them. He breathed flexing his muscles and tore the remains of his shirt off, the twin blade of darkness accompanied by its twin, and with them both being present, darkness oozed around him creating a pool of nigh-tangible darkness which blended with the shadows.
[Blades of darkness evolution: Blades of chaos]
[Tier: SSS]
[Ability: Reaper – Every time the blades deal critical damage and draw blood, the wounds are inflicted with curse, CURSE OF CHAOS, with the curse, any and all wounds opened by the blades will remain closed and another hit to the wound would mark the target with the key of death, the third strike on the same area kills them.]
Alaric looked at the descriptions of the blades and grinned. He wanted to put them to use, and see if reaper would grant him a victory. He switched the way he was holding the twin blades and resorted to holding them in a reverse grip. " Are you ready?" He asked as he disappeared from sheer speed.
Alaric swung his blades at an angle aiming for Jae-Chun's neck but Jae-Chun through his training as a ninja and having the skill hypercognition, was able to predict where Alaric would be and he raised his weapon to block the attack. Sounds of blades clashing flooded the forest and the sparks of the metal would light up the dark forest as Jae-Chun and Alaric exchanged blows.
Alaric on the offense.
Jae-Chun on the defense.
Alaric swung his blades downward in a vertical manner only for Jae-Chun to block the attacks. Sweat forming on Jae-Chun's forehead as his arms started to buckle under the weight of blocking the attack. With one loud cry, Jae-Chun pushed on his behind leg and used the force to push Alaric away from him.
Alaric flipped around and landed on the ground with grace. He looked at Jae-Chun with his condescending smirk present on his face. "What's wrong? Can't keep up?"
Jae-Chun's eyebrows narrowed as he heard that. "Very funny." He knew that he could not keep up much longer, the man he was fighting was becoming stronger at a rather frightening rate. The last strike he had to burn from his exhausting aura tank to just push it back. His red sparrow technique, duplicate and even twin dark light skills have all proved to be ineffective against the man, perhaps they had misjudged his threat level because what that man told them was, this man, Alaric was weak to pose a threat to them but now? Something was not right at the discrepancy in skill and power.
Jae-Chun took another pill and swallowed it, his aura shot up again. He calmed himself down and did a hand sign, if this was what I took to win then so be it, he was ready to do anything to win, not for himself but for his master. Jae-Chun told himself, for his master.
This fight was to protect his master from that man in darkness.
"Dawn of darkness."
From the corner of his eyes, Alaric could see the darkness approach and he tried to blink but the darkness did not fade away instead it got even stronger, with the stretching of the darkness, it overwhelmed his sight in a matter of seconds. Jae-Chun seeing the glazed over look from Alaric he grinned, this was his ultimate technique, one of the highest techniques his master had taught to him.
Red aura covered his body and he held his katana firmly, lightning covered his sword and he dashed forward.
Silence reigned for a brief moment then the sound of a body dropping resonated
