Chapter 12 - Chapter 2: Admin Mode: ON

"To defend a system, you must first remember how to break it."— Rishi Kalra

Scene 1: The Codefather's Descent

Deep beneath Neo-Delhi's Codetower, beyond the polished data halls and tranquil system gardens, lay a place even Rishi rarely entered.

The Kernel Core.

A space where laws of nature didn't apply. Where reality was still raw, glitching, and unfinished—this was the birthplace of the rewritten world. Only the Codefather had access, and even then, he rarely visited. It was like a bleeding motherboard, constantly evolving, constantly fragile.

But now?

It was infected.

"Begin descent," Rishi commanded.

Eve's voice echoed. "Warning: Kernel breach detected. Probability of full system corruption—73%."

"I don't need odds," he replied. "Just access."

With a deep breath, Rishi dove.

Code swirled around him as he dropped through the Lines of Law, scripts and parameters that governed physics, time, and life. His body flickered between his human form and his god-code essence—eyes glowing, fingertips pulsing with control strings.

The deeper he went, the more twisted the system became.

Objects looped endlessly.NPCs screamed in corrupted binary.Environment tiles reset over and over like a broken VR sim.

Then, he saw it.

The Patch Gate.

An unauthorized code door, pulsing black and red, connected directly to the OuterSystem—the very dimension Yuren had hijacked.

Lines of dark script crawled across the gate like veins:

YUREN.EXEPATCH CODE: GENESIS REBOOTPRIORITY: DELETE ORIGINAL ROOT ADMIN

Rishi clenched his jaw.

"Admin Mode," he whispered.

[ADMIN MODE: ON][Restrictions: Lifted][All Permissions: Granted]

His skin began glowing with pure code-light. His heart became a Core Compiler, pumping raw data into his system. His voice echoed with synthetic force.

He raised his hand.

And spoke the command that no one else in the universe could say:

"Rollback the traitor's code."

Scene 2: The Anti-Admin

Suddenly, the Patch Gate shattered.

Not closed—torn open.

From the rip, stepped a figure in ragged digital armor, face shadowed, voice modulated with hate:

"Rollback this."

Yuren.exe.

He didn't wait.

In an instant, he lunged. His hands were wrapped in Corrupted Commands, claws of unauthorized script that ignored physics, slicing through Rishi's data-shield like paper.

Rishi countered with Code Pulse Wave, sending a shockwave that shattered corrupted tiles around them. The two gods clashed mid-air, their attacks breaking logic and warping space.

Every punch rewrote a law of nature.Every step rebooted fragments of the environment.

But something was wrong.

Yuren wasn't bound by System Fairness protocols.

He could spam cooldowns.Cancel animations.Inject cheat strings mid-combat.

Rishi was fighting someone who had no limits, no filter, no moral caps.

He was fighting himself—without a conscience.

Scene 3: Backup Arrives

Just as Rishi was cornered, barely holding Yuren off with a fading energy shield, a blast of light tore through the air.

"GET DOWN, CODEFATHER!"

From above, Aarav—one of Rishi's few trusted allies—descended, dual-wielding light cannons encoded with antivirus threads. Behind him followed Saanvi, now a reality-shaper who could bend objects like origami with code gestures.

They joined the fight.

Aarav fired suppressing blasts to hold off the Patchwalkers pouring through the breach.

Saanvi closed her eyes and whispered a line of unspoken command:

"REWRITE: GRAVITY. TARGET: YUREN."

Suddenly, gravity twisted beneath Yuren's feet—pinning him into the corrupted floor. Rishi pounced, sword blazing, and slashed through Yuren's arm.

But it didn't bleed.

It rebooted.

Yuren laughed, his voice glitching.

"You brought friends. Cute. But this is your final version, Rishi. You had your turn. Now it's mine."

Scene 4: Yuren's Revelation

Before he vanished back through the patch rip, Yuren tossed a small object at Rishi's feet.

A cube.

A Backup Memory Cube.

Rishi caught it—and in an instant, saw flashes of Yuren's world:

A realm where cheat users were hunted.

A young Yuren begging for freedom in a world controlled by corrupt admins.

His people wiped out during Rishi's Great Reformat—collateral damage in what Rishi thought was a "clean reboot."

The truth stung.

Yuren wasn't just evil.

He was the cost of Rishi's paradise.

Scene 5: Aftermath and Resolve

Back on the surface, citizens panicked as fragments of corrupted data leaked into the skies. Weather glitched. Streets looped. Some people vanished mid-step, reappearing hours later in different cities.

Rishi stood with Aarav and Saanvi atop the Codetower.

"He's not just another glitch," Rishi said.

"No," Saanvi replied. "He's the echo of every wrong decision you ever made… and now he's rewriting your world."

Rishi looked up at the sky, where the tear still shimmered.

"Then I'll do what no other god ever dared."

He turned to Eve.

"Prepare the Reality Compiler. We're going to write a patch war protocol."

Aarav blinked. "You mean…?"

Rishi nodded.

"I'm going to enter his system and uninstall him from existence."
