There is a gentle breeze
So solemnly kind
Like a gentleman excusing past you
He brushes a hand a top your shoulder
Pardoning himself
Wafting away before you
You accept it and continue on,
It gave a sort of bittersweet sigh
As the breeze walked by
Leaving you tingly
you and your goosebumps have never felt so alone
touching the raised skin
Like a pelt
Like hands petting a carpet
Just your fingertips brush over
Like putting a hand onto the distance of stars
And those lines You'd sometimes wish someone could kiss
Invisible scars with opaque meaning
They feel different now
Hugs from yourself as you watch the sky
And all times Infinity
Is but a passerby
The skies are blurring
Noticing a faint chem trail
And a stabbing sensation
The skies are melting
And your eyes are flooding, catching the clouds from their descent
And suddenly you miss the wind
It had a subtle warmth to it
Like dispersing sun rays
You aren't sick
But you want to feel warm
No amount of layers will fix that
Its only when you return
And find yourself back at the dirt
Reaching and plundering deep
Into the grass
Holding firm onto the trees roots
They are solid
But gentle
Comforting and warm
You can almost hear it
You can feel your heartbeat once more
