She felt his rhythm change again—faster, rougher, like something inside him snapped. He kissed her harder, all over her chest, her shoulders, the dip between her collarbones. His teeth grazed gently, then sucked, leaving a mark.
Her thighs trembled. Her core clenched.
And when she looked up at him—his face shadowed, eyes wild and hungry, lips parted, hair damp against his brow—she saw it.
Not dominance. Not control.
But longing.
Like some part of him had always been starved for this. For touch that didn't have a price. For warmth that didn't require leverage.
And now that he had it—he didn't know how to stop.
"Rava," he groaned, voice breaking.
She pulled him down into a kiss, both hands cupping his face. "I'm here," she whispered. "I'm not leaving."
He groaned again, deeper now—less lust, more emotion. Like her words did something worse than any spell could.
