Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Roaring Wind~

Suifeng returned home with a bruised and swollen face—courtesy of that devil Tang San.

Old Jack's heart ached at the sight. He gasped, "What happened to you?! Suifeng, your face—who did this to you? In Saint Soul Village, on my turf, there's no one who dares disrespect Old Jack like this. Just tell me who it was, and I'll make sure their parents give that brat a proper beating!"

Suifeng froze. How was he supposed to explain?

Should he just say, "Oh, I fought a teenage demigod because I ran my mouth"?

And sure, Old Jack had his prestige in this village… but the person in question? His parent was a literal Title Douluo.

Then again, thinking about it more… Old Jack wasn't one to be underestimated either. He did once escort a divine being to school and publicly scolded a Title Douluo. What had he done in comparison? Apparently, he was the most underachieving transmigrator of them all.

"Ahem, Grandpa Jack… I was walking with Tang San when we spotted that same rabbit from last time. We finally managed to catch it and thought we'd bring it back for your dinner. But then… its parents showed up. They saw us holding the baby rabbit and gave us both a powerful bunny kick. That's how I ended up like this."

Suifeng scratched his nose awkwardly. Lying wasn't his strong suit—and this was probably the best excuse he could come up with.

No way could he admit he got into a one-on-one with a divine prodigy and got smacked around.

Old Jack sighed, rubbing Suifeng's head.

"Don't go picking fights with rabbits anymore, okay? Just leave them be."

What could Suifeng say?

"Mm-hmm. Got it, Grandpa Jack."

"Come on, sit down and eat."

---

Meanwhile, Tang San had also returned home. He scooped porridge for his drunken father.

The two sat in silence.

"Xiao San," Tang Hao asked, breaking the stillness. "You've been coming home late lately. Something going on?"

It was rare for his father to ask about him. Tang San felt a gentle warmth in his chest.

So this… is what fatherly love feels like. Warm. Quiet. Comforting.

"Nothing serious. Just out playing with a friend."

"Alright. Just be careful."

"Yes, Father."

Silence again.

Tang Hao's heart stirred with guilt.

No matter how mature Xiao San acted, he was still a child. Because of Ah Yin, he'd been negligent all these years. Was he being too unfair?

Maybe… it's time to teach him the hammer techniques.

---

The next morning after breakfast, Old Jack brought Suifeng some news:

"A Grandmaster from Spirit Hall will be arriving tomorrow morning to conduct Martial Soul awakenings. Don't play too rough today."

So… it's finally starting?

The classic formula of all transmigrators: a flowing stream of newcomers, but a solid, unchanging Su Yuntao—single for ten thousand years—was about to make his appearance.

Everyone knew Tang San's Martial Soul awakening: twin spirits, with innate full soul power. Even the seemingly worthless Blue Silver Grass was actually the royal Blue Silver Emperor.

But him? What was his Martial Soul? Unknown. And innate full soul power? Also unknown.

Wait—if I had some internal energy technique like the Mysterious Heaven Skill, would I also show up as "innate full soul power"?

What if his Martial Soul turned out to be trash? Would he have to leave the transmigrator group chat?

At the very least, if you weren't born with full soul power and didn't awaken twin spirits, could you even call yourself a transmigrator anymore? Others transmigrate with 20 ranks of innate soul power!

Still, Suifeng wasn't too worried. What's meant to be will be.

All he had to do was do his best and leave the rest to fate.

Besides, he had the Invincible Myth System. What was there to fear?

---

As always, his morning began with a full set of radio calisthenics, followed by several dozen laps around the village to warm up. And at noon, when the sun's energy was at its peak—he trained Divine Light Eyes for the second time.

This time, he didn't faint. His eyes felt much better than before.

Just as the saying goes:

The first time you walk a narrow muddy path, every step is tough. But walk it enough times, and it becomes a clear road—familiar and easy.

He wiped away the tears that welled up from the sunlight's sting. His eyes were faintly red.

Then he thought about Tang San—who'd go on to become a legendary member of the Shrek Seven Devils.

But back then, he was just a simple boy from a rural village… Wait. No. A boy from the Fasinuo Province. Not some random girl from Shandong.

[Host, stop breaking immersion. If you keep overusing Divine Light Eyes like this every day, your eyes won't be able to handle it.]

"Ahem… then what am I supposed to do?"

[Ding~ Revenge Quest Activated: Defeat Tang San and bring him down for at least one full minute. Reward: A secret eye-protecting cultivation technique.]

"…What kind of mission is this? What's the point of this?! Huh?!"

Suifeng fell into deep thought.

Defeating Tang San at his current stage… through normal means? Impossible.

But if not through normal means… well, time to start plotting.

---

"Yo, Tang San~ Long time no see! I missed you so much!"

Suifeng approached with a bright, innocent smile.

For some reason, Tang San felt a chilly wind stir around him.

The breeze seemed unusually… noisy today.

"…That smile looks shady. I have a bad feeling about this," Tang San said warily.

"ヾ(≧▽≦*)o What about this smile? Is this better?"

"…Still shady."

Suifeng sighed. Ah well. For the sake of my eyesight, sorry Tang San…

"Ahem. Xiao San, let's spar."

"No thanks. I'm training. Besides, sparring with you is boring—you just run away the whole time."

"This time I won't run. Let's have a real man-to-man duel. One-on-one."

Tang San raised an eyebrow. This guy? Volunteering for a real fight?

"You serious?"

"Dead serious." Suifeng pounded his chest with determination.

Tang San jumped up and stretched his arms.

"Wow, someone actually wants a beating. That's a first. Well, I'll reluctantly oblige you."

"Hehehe…" Suifeng's grin was pure mischief.

The two took their stances. The air grew tense.

Hair rustled. Robes fluttered. A proper martial arts atmosphere.

Of course… that wind? Courtesy of Suifeng's Insight of the Wind.

"Be careful, Tang San! This is a technique I just developed—Pegasus Meteor Fist! Its power is terrifying! Even I'm scared when I use it!"

Tang San watched Suifeng's serious expression and grew solemn.

Suifeng leapt into the air, soaring two meters high.

Tang San's eyes locked on him. That's unusual—jumping that high just makes you a target. It's easy to predict the landing spot.

Still… there had to be a reason.

Suifeng's black hair danced wildly in the air like a little battle god descending from the heavens.

He roared,

"Pegasus Meteor Fist!!!"

Wind currents carried him straight toward Tang San. His clenched fist glowed faintly with greenish light—an impressive sight, if nothing else.

Tang San narrowed his eyes. So he's not just fast—he's got real skill too. He's been holding back! A footwork master like him wouldn't lack offensive moves...

"Uncle Tang, what are you doing here?" Suifeng suddenly shouted toward something behind Tang San.

"Dad?!" Tang San instinctively turned.

...There was no one there.

Realizing he'd been tricked, he whipped back around—

Only to be met by Suifeng's "Pegasus Meteor Fist."

Tang San smirked. So what if you tricked me? That punch won't hurt me.

But at the last second, Suifeng's punch turned into an open palm—grabbing a handful of dirt, which he flung right into Tang San's face.

Even though Tang San reflexively closed his eyes, it was too late.

What kind of duel is this?! Who throws dirt in a kid's sparring match?!

Caught off guard, Tang San stumbled backward.

Suifeng darted behind him and swept his leg out.

Tang San staggered, but his reflexes were sharp—he twisted midair, going for a smooth 360° landing.

But Suifeng wasn't about to give him the chance.

If Tang San regained footing, he'd never win.

Originally, Suifeng had wanted to fake a match and get Tang San to go easy on him.

But how would he explain that?

"Hey, I've got a system and it gave me a mission. Can you help me out?"

Yeah, no.

As Tang San descended, Suifeng shouted:

"Black Tiger Heart Strike!!!"

He lunged at Tang San's chest midair—leaving him with no room to dodge.

He connected.

Well… sort of.

Because Tang San had just finished a midair 360° spin, the trajectory was slightly off…

Instead of striking the chest…

The wind grew even more chaotic.

Silence.

Two boys. One... very awkward moment.

Tang San looked like his soul had left his body.

What do I do now? Help. Urgent.
