Chapter 15- Now Strip

"Is that supposed to be any better?" I asked Raiden, raising a brow.
"Yes. If you ask me, it's better," he replied flatly, as usual. "At least she didn't die. She just lost her fingers. Maybe now she'll learn not to walk into places that aren't hers."
I didn't even bother arguing. Raiden never forgives. None of us really do. So there's no point trying to guilt-trip him when we're all the same.
I just leaned back in my chair and stared at the ceiling for a few seconds. The room was quiet, apart from the sounds of Lucien flipping through a book and Kael sipping from his glass. We were all just minding our business, not doing anything important. Just killing time.
Then came another knock.
But like before, the door swung open before the person even waited for permission.
