"I could go on and on about how Arlette spent decades with 'Ophiuchus', completing multiple missions to aid your 'cause' but that would hardly be convincing. You have many more who have spent even more years in your service and they certainly are not qualified to call the shots.
Hell, this Council convenes but the decisions are ultimately yours so no one can realistically be qualified to oversee you.
