When someone asks another to walk with them, one would expect some dialogue, and Eloise had indeed planned for it. Alas, her tongue refused to cooperate. She was walking so much ahead of Caius just so he wouldn't see the nervous look on her face.
Still, Caius could tell. Her face might have been turned away but the rest of her body was jittery enough to betray the expression she was trying to keep away from view. It was also not at all hard to deduce where they were headed once they had walked a bit.
As such, he was not surprised when they stopped at a familiar wall. A wall he had only gotten to learn was actually a door because of Kaya last week.
What did surprise him, however, was when Eloise pulled the door open and revealed that the room behind it was far from what he remembered. It hardly even looked like a storage closet anymore.
