Faro opened the next door… and entered a white void.
No walls. No floor. No ceiling.
Just endless stillness.
Then, a voice — not external, but within him:
"Who are you? And why do you seek power?"
He stayed silent.
"Tell me, Faro… If you had power now,
Who would you kill first?
What would you change first?"
A shadow formed before him — smoke swirling into a human shape.
It looked familiar…
But he couldn't remember who it was.
The figure spoke:
"I am your original intent.
The you who wanted strength to hurt.
To be feared."
"If you're honest… kill me.
If not… I'll stay inside you. Forever."
Faro's hand clenched — instinctively. Energy flickered.
But he stopped.
He looked into its eyes.
And said:
"I don't seek strength to hurt.
Nor to be loved.
Nor to escape.
I seek power…
To understand why I exist."
The figure vanished.
And so did the light.
A long staircase appeared.
A voice echoed:
"Pure intent… is not innocence.
It is clarity."
Faro climbed — step by step, without feeling his body.
