It was morning when the final preparations were set. All of our forces were well organized in a big open area outside of town. There was the army of Carrion's beastmen that were an addition to our own army. To which I decided would be another time to change some stuff from the original canon

Kaijuno: Hey Rimuru, how are preparations coming along?
Rimuru: It's going alright, almost all of our soliders are set by now
Kaijuno: Actually in regards to that, I have a recommendation to request
Rimuru: Oh?
Kaijuno: Yup, I have the document right here
I passed my documents onto Rimuru's desk to which they thoroughly read through with confusion
Rimuru: promotion to....Battle Maid Military General!? Kaijuno what is this supposed to mean!?
Kaijuno: Weeeeeeeell, I confident that Benjamin is capable to leading his own squadron instead of being Napoleon's second in command. Also as a demon lord of royalty, I must have someone serve me drinks at my command
Rimuru: and why Benjamin specifically? We already have a couple of maids avaliable for service
Kaijuno: (Saying it was to get back at Benjamin definitely won't sit well with Rimuru. Luckily I already had a cover story set up)
Kaijuno: Two points, one being that I want to promote the idea of male maids into Tempest's culture
Rimuru: Male maids?
Kaijuno: Yup, I think it's would be a wonderful speck of our culture to have a mix of masculinity with femininity. Who better to promote this than ol strong man Benjamin?
Rimuru: and you're second point?
Kaijuno: As a demon lord, I must present myself as mighty and royalty. What better to show that power is by having a maid that is also powerful. A king so powerful that he can make an oni serve him tea on a whim
Rimuru: This maids aspect sound a bit ridiculous, don't you agree?
Kaijuno: ( Seems he wasn't to keen on such an idea. Likely I have a way to steer him in, guilt trip)
Kaijuno: Oh but I already told him and his family about his new promote
Rimuru: what?
Kaijuno: yeah, Cameilla even made his new uniform. She was so happy when he tried it on. His own father even said he was proud of him
Rimuru: and why didn't you ask me beforehand?
Kaijuno:( Because you would've rejected the idea)
Kaijuno: Cause I figured you wouldn't have minded that much. Can you really say Benjamin doesn't deserve to lead his own force after all that he has accomplished for all of us?
Rimuru: I-... it's not that I don't recognize his achievements but-
Before I gave him room to protest. I got one my knees, clamped my hands together in a prayer, changed the emote on my mask to puppy dog eyes emote, and I even dropped my ears in a whimper

Rimuru: ...
Kaijuno:*STAAAAAAAAAAAAARE*
Rimuru: Alright! Benjamin is your subordinate and if that's what you want, I'll make it official

Kaijuno: so what are you working on?
Rimuru: I'm labeling each of the separate forces
Kaijuno: what are you labeling them as?
Rimuru: I labeled the orc army the yellow numbers, the dragonnewt army the purple numbers, the goblin army the green numbers
Kaijuno:...really? You're just calling the armies, numbers? I know lots of naming drained so much out of you in multiple ways. But are you really so creatively dry that you resort to calling your armies "numbers"?
Rimuru: Do you have to be so judgmental about it?
Kaijuno: Yeah, this isn't like naming thousands of orcs all over again, at least try to name them something good instead of being lazy about it
Rimuru: what, do you have any suggestions?
Kaijuno: I can think of a few
And that's what lead to the names of each squadron infront of us
Leonardo and his group were named "Shadow Garden", cause I felt like being a nerd
Rimuru gave Geld's band of orc troops "The Gelden Gaurd"
Dovakin and his dragonnewts were proclaimed as "The Draco Airforce" due to them being dragon related and being our main airborne squadron
The Goblin Soldiers claimed the name "Autumn's Harvest" since they all look like a bunch of carrots
Gobta along with his fellow riders were called "The Wolf Pack" as they're specifically riders of wolves
Napoleon and along with the rest of the majority of kijins and newly evolved fair onis were grouped up to known as "Scarlet Bonds" as I couldn't think of anything for a purely ogre race squadron besides remembering the movie that included Hiro who I was curious how they would react to their entire clan being alright
Lavandra's troops of hobgoblins and wicked onis is referred to as "Requiem", named after the operation that was done to revive them
And of course my personal favorite was giving Benjamin and his fellow maids the name of "The Battle Maids" also consisting of the hobgoblins that evolved into ogres from the harvest festival with a few kijins that didn't evolve into onis. Of course their uniforms are entirely military adjusted maid outfits that come in lots of bright colors.
Benjamin: (kill me now, end my suffering)
Kaijuno: hehe
Napoleon: my lords, all troops are present and are ready to deploy
Rimuru: then let's get everyone transported
Albis: Rimuru-Sama, Kaijuno-Sama, thank you for everything you've done for us

With all things set, Rimuru activated a transportation circle above each separate squadron with a ginormous one above the all of them. In the next moment, all of them vanished, leaving a broad open field
Kaijuno: well there's that, I'm heading off now

Kaijuno: To the baths, all that public speaking in front of a huge crowd took a lot out of me
Veldora: hold on, did you make sure to do your homework?
Of all people to bring it up, it was the Otaku dragon. And with this revaluation,I was reminded that I haven't done my homework yet

I left busy with my studies for quite a while. During that time, my struggle at learning a language literature had lessened in comparison to before. It seems like how with the orcs evolved into high orcs, I gained a boost in intelligence. I'm now starting to manage writing in Japanese although it's still a bit to go before writing becomes natural
By the time I finished my studies, Cameilla had finished the design of my new demon lord outfit and needed to measure and stitch the clothes on me. My request for a kingly robe was fufilled with the purple fabric being super soft along with the neck area using the fur from Willfla's mane, giving me lots of fluffy to bury my head in.
It was wide enough so that I can cover my entire body with it like a burrito. I can honestly pass it as a very high quality blanket that I can take anywhere without getting judged for it. While I was getting tailored, we were chatting with Napoleon and others on their progress through a magic orb
Kaijuno: So, things are setting up quite nicely?
Napoleon: Indeed, Everything is set for our frontal assault, they won't know what will hit them
Kaijuno: so everythings all set on your end, there's still a bit of time for walpurgis though. Anything else to make note of?
Napoleon: yes, we went over it and decided pursue ahead to clayman's castle during the night of walpurgis. It will consist of the entire Scarlet Bond along with Shifu and Leonardo. We are sure to-
Cameilla: hold on father!
Napoleon: y-yes sweetheart?
Cameilla: Do I actually have to ask!? Clayman is a controlling demon lord, what if you arrive too soon and he takes control of you all

Kaijuno: I meeean... it's quite an obvious decision to make. Clayman could have a few tricks in the mind control department, it's best for Cameilla to provide a defense for it. You just gotta make sure to cover her in return
Napoleon: oh course, then thank you for compensating for my daughter's selfish whim
Cameilla: plus I can use transportation magic so I'll be fine if anything goes wrong
Kaijuno: (I'm not sure Cameilla's protection is actually needed since Mikael's Unity Resolve and Helping Hand could likely protect anyone that I'm connected to while in a separate dimension since it it on the level of an ultimate skill. Although they still need someone to take on adalman when the time comes and Cameilla is the only one we have that has some sort of way to manipulate holy magic)
Kaijuno: cool, I'm guessing Benjamin will be leading the charge for the main battle, right?
Napoleon: hai
Kaijuno: perfect,Oh! While you're raiding the castle, make sure to take everything anteak and fancy, especially any wine cups
Napoleon: aren't you a bit too young for alcohol?
Kaijuno: uuuuuuh, Unless if we're counting my previous life's years then yes, BUT I want some fancy cups for Benjamin to serve me beverages in. And what's a more fulfilling drink than one stolen from your enemies

After a good while, my new demon lord outfit was finally completed. Underneath my super soft kingly robe blanket consists of a black long sleeve shirt with white lines throughout it with a pair of lines resembling a pair of reversed fangs. Cameilla included a long pair of gray gloves for my hands since she didn't want me to constantly show those off. I gotten gray pants with had a black diamond with white outline on the side of both of my legs.
I was also given boots to help give sturdy kicks. A very noticeable part was the belt to go over my clothes. I had it have a clip to attach it together instead of having it design to be tediously wrapped around my waste. And to give a bit of flare, I requested there to be a star to be the buckle of the belt. Specifically Rimuru blue since they are always being associated with stars, although they keep trying to get people to call it Blue Hawaii, plus I want a bit more color besides from my rope.
Cameilla: All done!
Kaijuno: This is...PERFECT! Thank you Cameilla! You really are the best designer in Tempest!
I was so excited for my outfit, I acted like kid and immediately hugged Cameilla, wrapping her in my newly made robe
Cameilla: (SO SOFT!)
Kaijuno: oh um, uh ok, go inform Rimuru and the others that my outfit is ready and presentable/ After that you are permitted to join everyone at Clayman's territory
Cameilla: H-hai!
While she went out to do so, I cleared the room, shut off the light, open up the curtains so the moon light will shine in. I went over my playlist to see which will give off a good vibe for the reveal and then simply waited for their arrival
Once both Rimuru and Veldora entered the room, I tried to show off an eerie presence but neither seemed to be impressed with my show off and Rimuru especially had an expression as if they saw something cringy

After a couple of seconds, Rimuru switched the lights back on, cutting my silent performance short
Rimuru: Alright that's enough! how long did you plan on being so creepy?
Kaijuno: well way to ruin the mood. I was planning to go as long as I can get away
Rimuru: To stand and stare in a dark room while having some eerily song play?
Kaijuno: Yup!
Rimuru: I'm starting to think you evolved into a dramatic lord than demon lord. Also, didn't you look taller for a second there?
Kaijuno: Negative, it's just you're imagination
Rimuru:(Not you too!)

Yagami:(Heh)
Kaijuno: Also is that your new get up too?
Rimuru: Yeah, Cameilla kept insisting on a princess dress but when I continuously refused, we came to a compromised by wearing light tone clothing just to symbolize purity
It was noticeable that the clothes that Rimuru was wearing looked like was a simplistic opposite of their canon demon lord clothing. While the general design structure was mostly the same. It was immediately obvious that instead of black and dark grey, their was white and a more mid tone grey to clash along with keeping the golden tripes gave Rimuru an appearance more resembling a divine holy figure rather than a demon lord, a complete contrast to my own devilish design. The only other changer was the fur in the neck area was changed to resemble more like sheep wool, helping giving them a more softer appearance.
By this time, everyone else arrived to witness my new style ready for Walpurgis
Ramiris: I see you're embracing your new demon lord position. Even your ears are starting to look like horns
Treyni: Indeed Ramiris-Sama
Lavandra: You look amazing Kaijuno-Sama! You look like such a mighty demon lord
Willfla: Absolutely! I'm glad see my mane gave you such a ferocious presence
Kaijuno: uh...Kuahuahua! Indeed with these majestic clothing, the world shall truly know the villainous terror of the King o- h-hey wait! I was the middle of monologuing!
As I was in the middle of open monologuing, Lavandra suddenly gotten a hold of me to feel the fluff of my kingly robe
Lavandra: my apologies my lord but when I notice how soft you looked, I could resist
Willfla: Hey Wait! My fur was used for it. I call first dibs!
Veldora: Hold on, I want to feel his softness too!
Just like that, before I knew it, I was getting hugged by Lavandra, Willfla, and Big Bro Veldora. I was basically being smothered and wrapped up in a group hug like I was the world's best body pillow.
My design that was meant to intimidate my enemies and make it obvious that I'm a demon lord only made me more adorable and approachable to my allies. It was then that I questioned if this reliance on fabric and fur would only bring the opposite result
With everything set, we all simply waited in the main office until our escort arrives. Although I had Rimuru go far from town hall while wearing Shizue's mask to keep them from being detected and analyzed by a primordial

I was busy making my mouth pop like a wide mouth cat
Ramiris and Veldora were focused on reading manga
Beretta,Treyni, and Treya were intensely doing nothing
It was safe to say, we were just bored iut of our minds
But finally after waiting for a good while, the door to lead us to the banquet finally appeared in the room. I saw the design in the anime and just like then, this desgin alone screamed demon lord. I was at ease as I was sure what to expect. But the moment the door opened, my non-existent heart dropped. I was expecting Mizeri to walk out of the door, but it wasn't the case. It went against the knowledge I had before hand, removing my unique advantage that removed some of my inner tension.
But what truly frightened me wasn't only that it was not Mizeri who greeted us but that it wasn't even Rain either. Out of all the people who could've made an appearance, it was not only the LAST person I would expect to go out of their way to make an appearance in Walpurgis, let alone this early on in the story. But it was someone who you should absolutely avoid pissing off as death would be a relief compared to what they are capable to do to you
Everyone in the room felt immediate unease and discomfort from the presence
Most affected from this was none other than the storm dragon himself who was immediately sweating bullets
For who arrived wasn't mearly a primordial demon but was one othe great sources of his personal trauma
