When I opened my eyes, the very first thing I saw was him. Justin. He wasn't asleep. He wasn't even pretending. He was lying on his side, head propped up on one hand, staring at me with those piercing eyes that somehow softened whenever they rested on me.
For a moment, I forgot how to breathe.
Because the images of last night crashed back into me like a tidal wave. The way his hands had traced every inch of me, the way his lips had worshiped me, the way he had made me feel like I was the only woman in the universe.
Heat bloomed in my cheeks instantly, spreading like wildfire. God, I could barely look at him. My heart raced, and I burrowed my face into the pillow like a teenager caught doing something forbidden.
But Justin, of course Justin wouldn't let me hide.
"Blushing already wifey ?" His voice was low, teasing, and it rumbled right through my bones.
I shook my head quickly, still refusing to meet his gaze. "I'm not blushing."
