Chapter 12 - Take

"Let me make this clear before we enter the dungeon," Luke said without blushing or panting, "As the captain, I want to take one thing in this dungeon."

He said he wanted to hack something before he even started. The two girls pouted and glared at him. Isn't this guy a master? Why doesn't he have the demeanor of a master at all?

"No problem with me," Tel'abyssian got a bronze ring and a bronze leather armor today because of Luke, so he had no face to object.

"What is it?" Bogdanov was very curious.

"Emerald Spider Silk, a blue material that only appears from bosses," Luke explained.

"How do you know the boss will do this?" Lyrana opened his eyes wide.

"I have a friend who..."

"cut!"

As everyone expressed their disdain for Luke, they entered the dungeon one by one.

The spider's nest was dark and damp, giving off a faint smell of decay. Looking around, there were spider silk everywhere, and the short and hoarse humming sounds of spiders could be heard from afar.

The first wave of monsters within sight were two spiders the size of puppies, with eight long furry legs with spikes, hideous faces, and countless compound eyes scanning around, making people feel cold.

The Spider's Lair is the lowest level five dungeon, mainly used to familiarize players with the dungeon mechanism. The first few waves of monsters are all ordinary monsters, only slightly more powerful than the monsters in the wild. Five people can surround them and solve them in no time.

After defeating five waves of monsters, a stream appeared in front of everyone.

There is a bridge over the stream, and a huge emerald green spider that is at least twice as big as an ordinary monster is guarding the bridge. Its name is the Spider Nest Guardian.

"This is an elite monster, very powerful," Lyrana and Bogdanov both opened this dungeon yesterday, and they were both still frightened when they saw the elite monster.

"It's nothing special, it's just an extra poison spray skill," Luke said nonchalantly as he began to command: "Haifeng will attack the monster directly, and when the poison spray bar reaches two-thirds, just interrupt it with a shield strike."

If it is read earlier than two-thirds, it will start reading again; if it is read later than two-thirds, it cannot be interrupted.

It is impossible to judge this kind of regularity without trying three or five times, but Luke was reborn, so there was naturally no need to go through so much trouble.

Thirty seconds later, the Spider Nest Guard began to scream in annoyance.

"Ready, start reading..."

Before Luke finished speaking, a light grey reading bar appeared above the spider's head.

Tel'abyssian held his breath, and when the reading bar was almost two-thirds complete, he slammed his shield heavily on the spider's head with a snap.

Stun, successfully interrupted.

There was no suspense about what happened next. The Spider Nest Guardian shed his last drop of blood and fell to the ground.

Unfortunately, there was no equipment, only a bottle of mana recovery potion.

There is no way, the drop rate is so low, it is not surprising that the dungeon elites do not drop equipment.

"It's easier than the normal difficulty we opened yesterday," Elara's eyes flashed, "Luke, just come to our union and join the main group directly."

The main group only has a hundred people. For a large guild of thousands of people, they are the elite among the elites. This condition is very generous.

However, Luke just shook his head and said, "Let's talk about it later." He joined the Star Moon Guild just for the helmet, as a stopgap measure. Once he earned enough money for the helmet, he would leave. Naturally, he would not join the Grand Plan again.

In comparison, the atmosphere within the Echo Union might be a little better, but it's obviously not much better. Thousands of people can't possibly be of one mind, and there should be all kinds of weirdos.

The beauty was not angry after being rejected by Luke. Just as she was about to move forward, she was stopped by Luke.

"Everyone, come down and soak your weapons in the stream," Luke walked around the bridge and soaked the dagger directly in the stream.

How could the stream water in the spider's nest be clean? Not only was the black stream water extremely filthy, it also emitted a pungent smell. Both girls looked a little pale.

"Soak for 30 seconds and you will gain a BUFF that increases damage to spider monsters by 20%..."

Upon hearing this, everyone rushed over.

"Forget about Druids and Warlocks, only melee combat is effective..."

Drinking alone and feeling depressed with Elara.

This is why Luke said that the melee team is very strong. The stream water under the spider bridge has this effect. Everyone knew it in Luke's previous life. People who kill spider monsters will enter the dungeon specifically to get this BUFF, even though it only lasts for an hour.

After crossing the spider bridge, there are more monsters. Sometimes there may be two Spider Nest Guardians in a wave of monsters. However, with this damage-increasing BUFF, the progress is not reduced at all.

During this time, the elite monster dropped a bronze wristband, which added three points of armor and a little strength. As a warrior, Lyrana gave it to the Tel'abyssian. The team's defense was enhanced again. When the elite monster hit him, the blood loss was generally less than ten points, and the druid had no pressure at all to treat him.

There are two bosses in the Spider's Lair. The first is a big spider named the Fallen Spider Chief, and the second is a monster with a spider body and a human face named Man Adeline.

Standing in front of the spider leader, Captain Luke was level 3, and the others were all level 4.

Spider boss level five, BOSS template, health volume up to 12000.

"The spider boss is not very difficult. The key is to defeat it in two stages." Luke was reborn, so he naturally didn't need to figure out how to defeat the boss. He commanded: "Every time its health drops by 20%, it will recruit a wave of minions. We don't have group control, so don't kill them. They will explode after five seconds. Just hide. When its health drops to 5%, it may go berserk. Druids should pay attention to replenishing their health, and Haifeng should also be ready to drink medicine to withstand it."

"How do you know? Never mind. I know you have a lot of friends," Lyrana was extremely curious, but she also knew that Luke wouldn't tell her, so she just squatted in the corner and drew circles.

"How much health does the BOSS have in normal mode?" Tel'abyssian felt quite pressured. So far, he hadn't heard of any team that had killed the Spider Chieftain. After all, only five people could enter this dungeon.

The MT can't hold on without equipment or skills, the healing can't be added up, the DPS output is not enough, and the battle lasts too long.

"In normal mode, the boss has 10,000 HP. It looks smaller than this," Bogdanov said with a wry smile, "We only took away 70% of the boss's HP yesterday. I guess it's almost impossible to see the boss going berserk now."

"Go ahead and kill the monsters. Follow my instructions. There will be no problem." Luke did not think that this dungeon was difficult. If his equipment and skills were not up to par, he would even dare to do it alone.

Tel'abyssian charged at the monster, stunning the BOSS for one second and causing 5 points of damage.

Even Luke was a little surprised by such damage. He remembered that when he fought this BOSS in his previous life, the MT's equipment was not necessarily better than that of the Tel'abyssian, but it shouldn't have been so bad as to deal such little damage.

In fact, the big spider was really powerful at the beginning, but its defense was weakened in later revisions.

Although I am surprised, since the monster has already appeared, I have to do my best to fight it no matter what.

Sneak attack, shadow attack...

The BOSS's defense was higher than Luke had imagined, but its attack power was about the same as he expected. It was not very dangerous for Tel'abyssian to fight against this BOSS.

Since you can handle the BOSS, what matters is the attack efficiency of the DPS and the endurance of the treatment.

The Druid has good awareness, but after all, he doesn't have any decent healing skills, and his magic points are not much. At most he can heal the enemy a dozen times before he is done.

At this time, the effect of the potion that Luke brought with everyone began to show.

Just like what the Tel'abyssian said, as long as you have medicine in your hand, you won't be panicked.
