Chapter 332 - Chapter 332: Be My Girlfriend (4K)

Casino.

The moment Tsunade entered the room, every man except Heiyan instinctively leaned forward, their eyes lighting up.

Not only because of her beauty and figure, but also because of her legendary nickname "Scatterbrained."

Everyone knew this legendary big spender had come once again to throw her money around.

Sure enough, with a loud *thud,* Tsunade placed the leather suitcase in her hand onto the gambling table. Then, with effortless elegance, she opened it one-handed.

Inside were neat stacks of green bills that seemed to glow.

"Excuse me, can I exchange all this money for chips?"

She asked loudly, her tone full of swagger, flashing a confident smile.

Her student Shizune, however, crouched behind Tsunade, holding tightly onto her shoulders. Her face was pale and trembling, clearly screaming the words "We're done for."

Because Shizune knew exactly how it always went—Tsunade would start strong before entering the casino, talk nonsense while gambling, and then walk out silently afterward.

Endless cycle.

Would Tsunade finally turn things around this time?

Faced with a confident—and clueless—Tsunade, Heiyan smiled slightly and gestured toward a chair.

"Of course. Please, have a seat."

"Oh? Who are you? I don't remember seeing you around here before," Tsunade asked curiously as she plopped down unceremoniously into the seat. Come to think of it, this guy was actually quite handsome, possessing an elegant charm that made others feel at ease.

"Tsunade-sama, this honorable gentleman is the newly crowned Gambling God of Tanukichou Street. No one can match his gambling skills. He's never lost at the tables."

A nearby gambler whispered to Tsunade, explaining who he was.

"Gambling God?"

Hearing that, Tsunade raised her eyebrows in excitement. She stared intensely at Heiyan, her eyes practically sparking with challenge as she declared provocatively,

"Today, I'm going to clean you out! I'll make sure this so-called Gambling God leaves completely broke, disgraced, and ruined!"

"You seem really fired up... I like your confidence, Tsunade."

Heiyan replied with a half-smile.

"Don't waste time chatting. Where's my chip stack? Let's start already!"

Tsunade grew impatient, waving her hand impatiently as she eagerly anticipated this gambling showdown.

With a simple finger snap from Heiyan, the door shut closed. The gambling battle had officially begun.

Three hours later...

"W-Why… why did I lose…?"

Pale-faced, Tsunade clung to the casino doorway, clutching her stomach as she staggered out step by painful step.

Her appearance startled pedestrians on the street. Seeing her like this, some passersby thought she must've been harassed or mistreated by a group of men.

In reality, though, it was much simpler—she had simply lost all her money. Worse than that, she now owed the Gambling God Heiyan ten million ryō.

Truly a nightmare day.

"Tsunade-sama, are you okay?"

Shizune supported Tsunade with one arm while using her other hand to shield her mentor's chest, trying to prevent any accidental exposure.

"I underestimated him. The Gambling God truly lives up to his reputation. Heiyan... I'll remember that name."

Tsunade let out a sigh. Although she had verbally conceded, her heart remained defiant.

"What do we do now?" Shizune asked worriedly, feeling lost.

"What else can we do? We have to make a quick escape right away. Not on my watch am I paying that back—I haven't got a single coin to my name."

Tsunade declared without hesitation, clearly no stranger to dodging debts.

After stepping out of the public eye and turning onto a street corner, Tsunade formed a hand seal. With a "peng" sound, she transformed into a girl around thirteen or fourteen years old.

Her disciple Shizune had no choice but to use the Transformation Jutsu as well, changing her appearance to match.

"Just make our escape like this. But sooner or later, I'll rise again and come back for revenge against Heiyan."

She hissed through her teeth before boldly striding forward.

Night fell.

In a casino on Tanukichou Street, two young women sat in front of a slot machine, fully immersed in gambling.

"Tsunade-sama, weren't we supposed to leave this place? How did we end up coming back here?"

Shizune whispered anxiously while nervously glancing around, afraid of being recognized by past creditors.

"Don't worry, Shizune. The best place to hide is in plain sight—nobody will recognize us. Besides, where I fall, I shall rise again. Come on, hit it!"

As Tsunade said this, she slammed the slot machine button fiercely. Then the patterns on the machine's display screen began spinning rapidly.

As Tsunade watched intently, the spinning icons began to slow... and finally landed—left to right—on carrot, mango, and banana symbols.

Not a thing.

"Too bad—it was so close! One more round!"

The machine displayed an encouraging message along with a smiley emoji.

"..."

Tsunade stared blankly ahead, instinctively patting her pockets only to find not a single coin remaining. Now they didn't even have enough money for dinner.

"Darn it!"

She grew angrier by the second, slamming her palm fiercely against the slot machine. Smoke immediately rose from it, nearly causing the whole machine to fall apart.

Seeing this, Shizune quickly pulled Tsunade up, readying their escape—otherwise if the casino staff saw this, they would definitely demand compensation for the damaged equipment.

However, after taking only a couple of steps, the pair collided directly with a towering figure.

"I'm sorry! It wasn't intentional—we accidentally broke the machine..."

Without even seeing the other person's face, Shizune bowed repeatedly in flustered apology. Next to her, Tsunade's pupils shrank involuntarily, her entire body stiffening.

What was going on?

Finally sensing something amiss, Shizune looked up and saw that the person standing before them was none other than Gambling God Heiyan himself.

Oh no.

Both master and apprentice felt their hearts sink, exchanging nervous glances.

They hadn't expected their creditor to track them down so quickly.

Fortunately, Heiyan seemed not to recognize them. Pointing at the broken machine, he asked politely, "Excuse me, is this machine occupied?"

"No, no, please go ahead."

Shizune let out a sigh of relief and quickly pulled Tsunade aside to make room for Heiyan.

Heiyan smiled slightly, passed by the two women, and sat down in front of a slot machine.

Shizune tugged on Tsunade's sleeve, silently urging her to make a run for it. But Tsunade's legs seemed rooted to the ground, completely motionless.

She stared intently at the slot machine screen, waiting for Heiyan to begin.

She couldn't believe it—how could the so-called Gambling God actually win in a game that relied purely on luck?

Heiyan reached into his pocket, pulled out a single coin, and muttered to himself, "This is the only coin I have left. Let me try my luck—hope I can make a little money and enjoy a good meal tonight."

As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up the coin, blew on it lightly, and dropped it into the slot machine.

Soon, music played and the reels began spinning.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

To Tsunade's utter disbelief, the symbols stopped one by one, all aligning as "7s." Instantly, the display screen lit up with brilliant fireworks, and multicolored lights flashed wildly on the machine.

The next second—

Clatter! Clatter! Clatter!

A massive pile of coins poured from the dispenser, forming a small shining mountain that sparkled like the treasures hidden in a colossal dragon's den.

"Not bad luck at all."

Heiyan murmured, casually grabbing another coin and slipping it back into the machine.

In no time,

Clang! Another heap of coins clattered out.

Clack! Clack! Clack!

Within less than ten minutes, mounds of coins had piled up in front of Heiyan, overflowing until even the dispenser couldn't handle it anymore. At this point, the slot machine displayed an "insufficient funds" warning, indicating no more play was possible.

Heiyan was unaware, but the commotion had already drawn the attention of nearly half the casino's patrons.

They gathered around in astonishment, unable to believe someone could be this lucky. Surely, there must be something wrong with the machine. But upon seeing Heiyan's face, each one wore expressions of sudden realization.

Oh right—it's the Gambling God.

"Please help me exchange these coins for cash,"

Heiyan stood up calmly, giving instructions to the casino manager under a crowd's gaze of respect and awe.

"Please wait just a moment, Gambling God!"

The manager hurriedly issued orders to process the request, bowing deeply all the way as he escorted Heiyan to the exit, watching him leave with a mix of reverence and relief.

"No way… This can't possibly be real..."

Tsunade murmured within the crowd. In her eyes, no one could possibly be this lucky. That Gambling God must have used some sort of underhanded method, concealing some secret technique.

If she could uncover his secret, perhaps she'd become the next Gambling God herself.

Realizing this, Tsunade's eyes lit up. She marched forward determinedly, chasing after Heiyan.

Walking unhurriedly along the street, Heiyan took his time strolling through the city, enjoying the energetic buzz of its lively atmosphere.

His recent time spent gambling in Tanukichou Street wasn't just for fun—he'd discovered a new power and was trying to learn how to use and control it.

That power was *the world's power*.

Since Heiyan became an Immortal Sage and crossed the river of time, he had come into contact with this power. Through his encounters with it, he gradually entered into some higher realms and gained a deeper understanding of the world's rule-based power.

At present, Heiyan's application of the world's power was still at a fairly superficial stage. The effect it produced was simply that he now possessed extraordinary luck far beyond ordinary people.

Such fortune bestowed upon an average person would be enough to ensure smooth sailing throughout their life, making them an enviable winner in the eyes of thousands.

This was the biggest secret behind Heiyan becoming the Gambling God.

In addition, he definitely recognized Tsunade and Shizune. After all, he had come specifically for them.

However, he deliberately ignored them, putting on a deliberate act of playing hard to get.

If his guess was correct, Tsunade would surely take the bait—and by now, she was probably about to show up.

Sure enough.

Accompanied by the sound of a woman panting heavily, a fragrant breeze swept toward Heiyan from behind.

"Wait!"

Tsunade rushed right in front of him, spreading her arms wide to block his path. With a determined look, she declared firmly, "Tell me the trick you used just now at the slot machine! Otherwise, I'll expose your real identity as the Gambling God to everyone!"

"I was just lucky, that's all."

Heiyan shrugged slightly, seemingly uninterested, and walked straight past Tsunade.

Tsunade panicked. Without hesitation, she quickly stepped forward, grabbing Heiyan by the collar and stubbornly demanding he teach her.

"So, little girl, are you asking to become my disciple now?"

Despite being held by the collar, Heiyan remained calm and composed, speaking indifferently, "It's not impossible to take you under my wing, but tuition fees are required."

Upon hearing this, Tsunade's face lit up instantly with hope, immediately shifting to a more pleasing demeanor.

"Heiyan... big brother, I don't have any money right now. How about letting me learn first, and I'll pay you back once I've made some money? Please?"

She clasped her hands over her heart, gazing up at Heiyan longingly, even batting her eyelashes afterward.

"..."

Watching this unfold before her, Shizune twitched in disgust, nearly vomiting out whatever she'd eaten the night before.

Tsunade-sama, just to learn gambling jutsu—she really doesn't care about her dignity anymore!

Unfortunately, Tsunade's trying to be cute had no effect whatsoever on Heiyan.

"No tuition, no service."

Looking down at Tsunade, Heiyan shook his head. Then, his eyes gleamed strangely as he suddenly changed his tone, "If you can't afford the tuition fee, maybe we could work out another deal. How about… you sell yourself to me as my girlfriend instead? After all, judging by appearances, your body alone might still be worth a couple of silver."

Hearing this, Tsunade's expression shifted drastically—but quickly recovered, adapting swiftly while raising her voice dramatically:

"What did you say? You pervert! Did you really just proposition a teenage underage girl?"

At this outcry, passersby around them began turning their heads, whispering among themselves.

"You see that? If you don't want things to escalate, just tell me your gambling jutsu right away."

Tsunade proudly declared, although outwardly, she still pretended to be pitifully victimized.

Yet with just one sentence, Heiyan effortlessly shut her up.

"You really think I'm blind, Tsunade?"

He sneered at the teenage girl before him, "Do you honestly believe your childish transformation can fool my eyes? How naive. Don't forget—you still owe me one million ryo. Every day you delay repayment, the interest doubles."

Tsunade trembled slightly, her expression rapidly shifting from shock to panic, and finally settling into dejection.

She glanced around at the onlookers, grabbed Heiyan's hand, pulled him into a secluded corner, then dispelled her transformation, returning to her original form.

"Alright, what do you want now?"

She crossed her arms defiantly, projecting strength as she faced Heiyan.

"If I recall, aren't you already an old woman in your fifties? Even if you agreed to be my girlfriend and pay off your debt with... other means, it'd be like an old goat grazing on tender grass—still a bad deal for me."

Heiyan rubbed his chin thoughtfully while inspecting Tsunade's figure.

"You insolent brat..."

Unable to endure any longer, Tsunade rolled up her sleeves, ready to teach this arrogant punk a lesson.

Here we go again.

Witnessing this scene, Shizune couldn't help but silently mourn for Heiyan. Nothing angers Tsunade-sama more than someone daring to call her an old woman to her face.
