"Where are you Morgot you damn monster," a demon boy running down a warehouse corridor yelled out.
He stops infront of a door and proceeded to kicked the door ripping it off it's hinges and sending it into the wall.
The chatter in the room stops as the two people in the room just stare at the boy.
"What's the matter Marrow?" Morgot asks as he places down his can of beer.
Marrow glares at Morgot intently and walks up to him. In a low almost grogy voice he hissed.
"You know exactly why I'm here."
Morgot stared into his eyes for a moment and the lit up as if remembering something. He walks over to a book near a large computer and opens it.
He slowly turns page to page.
"Which page was it agai-" Morgot paused and turned to look at Marrow.
He holds the book up and shows a symbol of an eye with the words 'Eye of truth' written above it.
"Oh, you mean your little girlfriend failing a very simple, assignment!" Morgot slammed the book on the table.
Morgot slowly walked over to Marrow fixed up his shirt.
"The only reason why she lived that long was because of her compatibility with the calamity," Morgot growled.
He turned and walked away from Marrow.
"It's best you just forget about her. She didn't got any value anyway," he continued.
Marrow began huffing and puffing as bone claws appeared floating on top of his hands.
"That's it. I've put up with your shit for too damn long," Marrow said as he tried to rush at him but was blocked.
Lance stood in front Marrow with all his six wings extended.
"it would be in your best interest to just let it rest," Lance spoke in a detached voice.
Marrow glanced Lance. The rage in him overflowing like bursting dam. Lance clenched his fist.
"You seem to forget I house your weakness in my body," Marrow warned.
Lance smiled as his eyes glowed a bright gold. Marrow felt a stinging pain shoot through his abdomen.
He reflexively clutched core while letting out short breaths. Lance's smile grew wider.
"Did you think that the goddess was the only one capable of activating your slave marks?" Lance asked with glee.
Marrow gave out a hollow chuckle before nodding and dispersing the claws. Lance nodded as well and folded his wings.
He stood off to the side and let Marrow take one step forward. Marrow cleared his throat.
" Fine then, but send me next," Marrow spoke out, struggling to bottle his tears.
Morgot grabbed his can and took a huge chug before placing it back down.
"I been telling you that you are important. Until you serve that purpose you ain't going nowhere," said Morgot.
Marrow's eyes grew wide as he struggled to keep down his bloodlust. Before he could speak a female voice interrupted him.
"Don't worry little Marrow. I'll take cate of him for you, right Morgot?"
Morgot smiled, "Gema, somebody I can have some faith in," he said sarcastically.
Gema walked over to Marrow and grabbed him by the shoulder. She leaned in close right next to his ear.
"Don't worry sugar, I'll make sure the bastard pays," She whispered into his ear.
