Yama stopped walking and just stared at Ezra. She paused too, confused by why he stopped.
"Hahaha, me walking into my own death? Please don't make me laugh," he said finally done with his sleeves.
Ezra stared at Yama with confusion and disgust.
Who does he think he is.
"I have been reborn in purifying light, if you think you can stop me now then I have to say, you are mentally ill," Ezra said.
Yama paid no heed and continued laughing at Ezra, almost to the point of tears.
Ezra tilted her head and fixated her gaze directly on Yama who was now bent over still in laughter.
Yama raised a hand up and frantically waved it around as his laughter subsided. He stood up straight and wiped the tears on his face.
"Oh my, what I would give to have her confidence," Yama said as he wheezed.
Ezra gritted her teeth and raised her axe preparing to strike. Yama let out a huge sigh as he placed his hands into a martial stance.
"Since that's how you are going to be, I'll start taking you seriously," Yama said in a cold, calm voice.
Ezra froze after he said that.
That's it I'll make sure you eat those words off yours.
Ezra tightened her grip on her axe as the ground below her crumbled under the immense pressure of her power.
With one swift movement, she had seemingly teleported right infront of Yama. Her axe mere inches away from his neck.
"Kyōsei-tekina shittsui."
In the blink of an eye Yama had deflected the axe, grabbed Ezra by the arm and flipped her over.
Why is the ground blue all of a sudden.
Snap! Followed by an unsettling crunch. Ezra screeched as blood gushed out of her shoulder.
The ground crumbled instantly, giving way and destroying any foothold.
"For someone who acts so strong, you're surprisingly brittle," Yama said as he planted his feet on the rubble.
With one arm he lifted the still screaming Ezra into the air. He lifted his right foot then planted it firmly into the ground.
He reeled her back and tossed her into the open fields.
Yama jumped out the crater and slicked back his luscious pink hair.
"Well let's go everyone. I'm not done educating all of you on why doing something this stupid is wrong," Yama said as he gestured to the others.
Shin nodded as they all walked towords the fields. Shin stared at Yama with astonishment.
So this is the power of an elder. If he were the demon king instead of Clamore, I would have died that day.
" Eyes forward kid," Yama said.
Shin snapped out of his thoughts and turned to look at the destination ahead. His eyes grew wide at the sight before him.
The fields were in ruins with a streak of uprooted land paving the way to Ezra. The sight could be described as the aftermath of a falling aircraft of small meteor.
This is insane.
Shin stared, mouth wide open. Yama turned to him and closed his mouth.
"Don't worry yourself too much, we're allies," Yama said as he waved and jumped into the streak of uprooted land.
