Next month arrives and the first day of school is upon me…(Lil Papi's in his thoughts)
It's the first day of school and I was so excited I had new clothes and a few pair of new shoes, I believe they were some famous shoe I've seen on tv once, I didn't know mama had that kind of money. But me and my sisters got up that morning and headed to school. On the way I hear all the chaos of the neighborhood from raging car engines, screeching city bus brakes to the gentle breeze blowing from the wind. It wasn't hot like the summer and the breeze felt refreshing brushing across my skin "which felt nice "said Lil Papi in his thoughts. As we approached the school I see this huge brick sign saying, Welcome to Kingz Lane Elementary home of the knights. It was a huge golden knight, I was amazed seeing what I believe was our school mascot, Lil Papi was in awe because it was the first time he seen anything like it. Come on boy!!! my older sister Nancy said to me and we went through the double doors entering the school main hallway. As I walked to the cafeteria I can see kids everywhere the office was located on the right side of the entry hallway and we made the first right to the cafeteria.
A little time had passed…
After going through the assembly line to get breakfast me and my sisters had to go our separate ways as their classes were meeting at different tables. I finally found my teachers table, her name was Mrs.Smith and I sat by this girl name Allison. Allison was pretty nice to me and we laughed and talked until Mrs. Smith came to pick us up. I still had a bit of nerves being my first day of school but man was it fun.
Few months went by….
School has been interesting to say the least I've been acting as the class clown trying to make others laugh at me and my grades haven't been the best, mama never really gave me a beating but I've had a few over the course of these pass few months not sure what's going on with me I still keep doing the same thing over and over and over again,Lil Papi gets lost in his thoughts, I go to school to learn and play but still manage to get in trouble why is that….Lil Papi ponders.
