Under Professor Bratano's guidance, they arrived at a Pokémon Trainer Training Center in Miari City.
For convenience, Trainers didn't have the time to travel around to collect badges.
The League had established several specially established Pokémon Trainer Training Centers, where successful completion of the training would qualify them for the League Tournament. Although qualifying for the League Tournament was extremely difficult, many still managed to do so each year. Compared to the hardworking Trainers who earned eight badges,
The overall skill of these Trainers who passed the training was somewhat uneven.
If Jun Shafeng hadn't been severely short of time, he wouldn't have chosen this method to qualify for the League.
Professor Bratano and Jun Shafeng entered the training center together.
A man dressed as an instructor stood at the front desk, observing Jun Shafeng and Professor Bratano.
Because Professor Bratano was so famous, the instructor immediately spoke up.
"Isn't that Professor Bratano? Why are you here at my Pokémon Training Center?"
He said, glancing at Jun Shafeng.
Seeing this, Professor Bratano immediately spoke up.
"This is Xiaofeng, from the Kanto region, preparing to join our Pokémon League. Could you help him with the assessment?"
The instructor nodded and said,
"Please bring out your Trainer's Pokedex. I need to register my identity."
Jun Shafeng felt a little awkward after hearing this.
He wasn't from this world, so how could he have a Trainer's Pokedex?
Jun Shafeng said awkwardly.
"My Trainer's Pokedex was accidentally destroyed by a Pokémon during a previous battle, and I haven't had time to replace it yet," Dr. Bratano said after hearing this.
"Xiaofeng, you should have told me earlier. I have a lot of Pokédexes specifically for new trainers. I'll go get one now. Then, just enter your identity into the Pokédex from the League's computer, and
You'll be able to take the assessment at the Pokémon Center."
Jun Shafeng felt a surge of panic after hearing this, but he suppressed his panic and nodded.
He then followed the professor back to the research institute.
As soon as he returned to the research institute, Dr. Bratano's assistant, Sophie, suddenly approached.
She looked at Jun Shafeng warily, a Garchomp trailing behind her.
Dr. Bratano looked at Sophie with some confusion and asked,
"Have you discovered anything unusual about that Golbat?"
Sophie shook her head, then looked at Jun Shafeng holding the Poké Ball and said with a look of alarm.
"I haven't figured out why Golbat is so large yet, so I planned to send it to Professor Oak in the Kanto region for research.
However, I discovered that the Poké Ball couldn't be sent, so I immediately checked and found that this Poké Ball wasn't made by the League and therefore couldn't pass through the League's transmission system."
Dr. Bratano listened and turned to Jun Shafeng.
Jun Shafeng knew that he couldn't hide his story after all, so he sighed and spoke.
"It seems the truth can't be hidden. Some things can't be concealed. Actually, I'm not a Trainer from this world. I come from a parallel world, where there are also Pokémon.
Besides Pokémon, there's also an unstable spacetime called a secret realm. I accidentally traveled to this world during the collapse of a secret realm.
I had to fabricate this lie to protect myself. Actually, my Trainer's Pokedex isn't damaged at all; it's always been in my possession."
Jun Shafeng finished his words and turned on his Trainer Watch.
Since he wasn't training in his original world, the watch couldn't connect to satellites in outer space, so it displayed "no signal. " However, the Pokémon Pokedex was still stored inside, and aside from being unable to access the internet or chat, all other functions remained functional.
Dr. Blatano, looking at the Trainer Watch on Jun Shabei's wrist,
found it difficult to accept this reality for a moment.
Instead, Sophie, beside him, questioned him.
"What reasons do you have for us to believe you? Perhaps you're a member of some illegal organization?"
Jun Shafeng hesitated, looking at Sophie, who looked wary.
"In our world, I'm a researcher studying Mega Evolution. I know that certain Pokémon have the potential to Mega Evolve.
If you don't believe me, I can share the data and directions of these evolutions to prove my innocence."
Jun Shafeng finished speaking, then found a pen and paper and wrote down all the Pokémon he could remember that could Mega Evolve.
A few minutes later, he gave the paper to Dr. Bratano,
He was immediately surprised when he read it.
"Of the Pokémon listed here, I've only confirmed a few can mega-evolve. I haven't confirmed the others yet, and my research on mega-evolution has never been made public.
The fact that you know which Pokémon can mega-evolve proves you might be from a parallel world."
Sophie saw Dr. Brataj's obvious trust in Jun Shafeng
And decided not to ask any further questions.
