It's been a month since we lost two of our siblings.
The cave has felt heavy ever since—like a shadow lingers in the air.We still hunt. We still eat.But something inside us broke that day.
Even so, I've decided to move forward.I've rejoined the hunting group, and now with six of us left—including me—I act as Alpha.
Leading. Hunting. Growing stronger.
I also tried asking Papa Wolf about that insane magical attack he used on the giant bear. The answer I got?
"You'll know eventually."
…Like, seriously?
What kind of lame answer is that?I wanted to scream, "I'm your son! Just tell me the damn secret already!"But nope. Classic mysterious master vibes.
So today, instead of hunting, we're exploring.
It's been years since I last went exploring. Back then, I was just a tiny fluffball, tripping over my own tail every five steps. But now I'm bigger. Stronger. Smarter. And definitely cooler.
The real reason we're out here?We need a new home.
Our hunting grounds are going dry—less prey, fewer scents. If we don't find a better place soon, we'll be in real trouble.
So here we are.Six wolves. One mission: Find a new place to live.
We've been walking for hours now.
And I mean hours.
Nothing but snow. White in every direction.
Crunch… Scrunch… Crunch…
The sound of our paws echoes across the frozen ground. Our breath mists in the air like little ghosts.
Finally, after nearly three hours, we reach the edge of our territory.
You know how wolves mark their territory, right?Yeah… with pee.A lot of pee.
Like, enough that you can smell it from a mile away. No joke.
Right at the edge, I sniff the air and catch the fading scent of Papa Wolf's mark.Yup. This is where our turf ends.
I stop, and so do the others.
The scent is weak. It'll vanish completely in a few days.
And so, honoring the proud family tradition… I step forward and lift my leg.
Pssssssss… fssssss… drip. Drip.
With the last drop, I step back, proud. But… it didn't feel like enough.
Papa always said,
"Mark the land so strong, even the trees know who's boss."
Problem is… I already emptied the tank. Bladder: 0%.
As Alpha, I can't leave such a weak mark behind.
So I do what any brilliant leader would do:I growl and gesture to the others.
They get the message instantly.
Four males. Two females. And yes—everyone joins in. Even the girls, bless them.
By the end of it, the snow's soaked and the trees are probably choking.
"Now that's how you mark your turf," I say, satisfied.
We keep walking.
Deeper into the unknown.
But… we find nothing.
No rabbits.No deer.Not even a stupid bird.
Seven hours of walking, and our bellies are growling louder than ever.
The only thing that's changed is the scenery.
More trees now—way more than back home.In our old territory, we had like… two trees. Total.
So yeah, this place looks promising.
But it's no good without prey.
Still, I take note: More trees. No wolf scent. Unclaimed land.Maybe… just maybe… this could be our new home?
Eleven hours pass.
Our paws drag. Our stomachs ache. Our spirits are sinking.
And just as I'm about to scream at the sky—"WHERE IS MY LOOT DROP, GOD?!?"—I freeze.
A sound.
A rustle.A snap.
My ears twitch. My nose flares. An animal.
YES.
I growl low and quiet. The others halt. They know that sound—it means: Get ready.
Another growl. We shift into hunt mode.
Silent steps.Focused eyes.Tails low. Jaws tight.
I sniff the air again.
Prey is near.
"Where are you, little snack?" I whisper."Come to Papa… Papa is huuuungry… hehehe…"
