Chapter 9 - Was this smashing the scroll directly like a brick?

Scrolls are very precious things, especially for commoners. Although Buska is a rich man on this street, when it comes to his status, he is still a commoner, only a little better than an ordinary commoner.

However, this was not enough for him or his son to freely use magic scrolls worth fifty copper coins each to fight. Such items were only used in emergencies. In formal battles, like the current situation, the effect of magic scrolls was limited. Logically speaking, it was even less likely that magic scrolls would be used in such battles between civilians.

So at this moment, seeing Stephen throw a flame scroll at Kerry first, and this scroll obviously hurt Kerry's hand, Buska wasn't worried at all.

Kerry, of course, wasn't worried either.

"Let me see how many scrolls you can produce!" Kerry waved his long sword with the other hand. "Just use as many scrolls as you have!"

"Ok!"

Stephen had a very easy-going look. Since you said so, then I'll do it this way. Immediately, he took out another scroll from the bag, tore it apart with a sound and threw it casually at Kerry without holding it in his hand. Then there was another scroll, and then another...

In the blink of an eye, Stephen had already thrown five scrolls.

Two of them are flame scrolls, two are lightning Scrolls, and one is Dust Scroll.

The Lightning Scroll is similar to the Flame Scroll. Once activated, it will emit streps of lightning to attack nearby enemies, with power comparable to the basic attack spell [Lightning]. The Dust Scroll, on the other hand, is designed to confuse enemies. Once activated, it will trigger a sky full of dust, blocking the view.

There are a total of five types of scrolls for sale in Anthony's Magic House. Among them, only the Fire Scroll and the Lightning Scroll have powerful attack capabilities, while the others are all auxiliary attacks. Therefore, most of the magic scrolls made by Stephen are mainly the Fire Scroll and the Lightning Scroll.

And these scrolls were thrown at Carrie. Flames and lightning flew together, and a cloud of dust filled his view. In an instant, the onlookers around him were stunned. They threw six scrolls in one go. The value of these six scrolls was equivalent to three silver coins...

These are three silver coins!

Kerry was on guard. These scrolls didn't hurt him again, but he was in a rather awkward position to avoid them.

Buska looked at his son, whose face was covered in dust, emerging from the dust and shouted loudly, "Kerry, the scroll is very valuable. He surely doesn't have many in his hand. Attack him quickly!"

When Carrie heard her father's words, she immediately brandished her long sword and barked her teeth, charging towards Stephen.

Stephen remained calm on his face. He reached into the bag and directly grabbed a reel. With both hands, he tore it open one by one with a sizzling sound and threw it forward without even looking. After throwing one, he grabbed another, one after another...

He could catch five or six in one go. With a casual throw, that would be three silver coins. The monthly consumption of an ordinary family is no more than one or two silver coins. Seeing this scroll that Stephen casually threw out, it was just like throwing money out casually.

Even squandering money doesn't lead to such a downfall...

Most importantly, among the scrolls that Stephen casually threw out, there were clearly several that he hadn't pulled open at all. After touching Kerry, the scrolls dropped directly to the ground.

Was this smashing the scroll directly like a brick?

Is this an attempt to directly smash someone to death with money?

All around was quiet. The silence was because they were stunned. They were stunned by Stephen's blatant act of squandered money and showing off his wealth.

Thanks to Stephen's attack style of not treating money as money at all, Kerry was unable to rush to Stephen's side for a while. During this period, he was burned by flames several times, struck by lightning several times, splashed all over his face with water summoned by a water scroll, and then covered his face with dust by the dust scroll. Just as he reached out to wipe his face, The wind scroll blew him off his balance again...

Kerry had also experienced quite a few battles, big and small, but he swore that he had never faced an opponent who could throw out dozens of scrolls so casually.

Stephen threw out dozens of scrolls in one go, specifically thirty-nine. Standing beside him, Buska counted them all directly. Thirty-nine magic scrolls, each worth fifty copper coins, that was nearly twenty silver coins!

Stephen, who had thrown out dozens of scrolls, finally stopped. He was gasping for breath as he looked at Kerry, who was in a sorry state.

Kerry roared to the sky and charged at Stephen again, "Have you run out of your scroll this time, lad? I'll kill you!"

Saying this, he raised the long sword high with one hand, his momentum unmatched, as if he were about to go on a killing spree...

Then Stephen directly placed the bag in his hand on the ground and began to hold the scrolls from the inside out with both hands, holding more than ten at a time. This time, he didn't even understand how to unroll the scrolls and threw them head-on at Kerry.

One handful after another, one handful after another...

At this moment, countless people around were stunned. They felt that they must be dreaming.

Is there such a waste of scrolls? They are just taken out and thrown away without even activating them. Is this completely treating the scrolls as bricks? Most importantly... How many scrolls are there in Stephen's bag exactly? Look at that bag, which is bulging... Could it be a scroll?

Although the scrolls thrown towards him were not activated, Kerry didn't dare to catch them rashly. Instead, he jumped up and down to hide. In the blink of an eye, at least more than fifty scrolls had been thrown out by Stephen. At this moment, he finally stopped.

The ground was littered with scrolls. In the eyes of many people, they were all naked money...

"Phew..." This time, I think you have no way out... What a fool... The scroll was actually thrown over directly... Kerry gasped, "It's because of the exhaustion from dodging the scroll." He raised his long sword again, ready to attack Stephen.

Stephen, however, chuckled on his face, drew his magic wand from his waist, and pointed forward in an arc in the air: "Gentle breeze!"

The life-like magic that brings people a cool and gentle breeze

When this spell is used proficiently, one can hover slight objects with a magic wand. Even the most skilled people can use this spell to control paper figures to dance in the air... And the original hammerhead belongs to the latter category - to what extent of boredom would it take to be so proficient in such a curse? But now it has given Stephen a lot of convenience. He has completely inherited the hammer's precise control over this curse.

Under the control of Stephen's "Breeze" curse, a scroll at Kerry's feet suddenly tore apart with a loud "boom!" With a "yes", a ball of flame burst out.

Carrie let out a cry of surprise and jumped back in a hurry.

Only to see that the scrolls that had been scattered on the ground began to wriggling gently and continuously, and one by one, they jumped up from the ground and flew towards Kerry...
