Another moon... Ep-2
Yamato lives on Mount Fuji. He cycles to school, having already said goodbye to his grandmother. Along the way, he takes in the beautiful scenery. "If you were alive," he murmurs, a shallow, tearful whisper, "we both could see this wonder together." He's referring to Rin, his old girlfriend. Soon, he reaches school and immediately settles in for a nap, which lasts through the first two periods. Jun watches him sleep, thinking how cute he looks. Suddenly, Yamato senses he's being watched. He opens his eyes and locks gazes with Jun, who immediately turns away, blushing fiercely.
Yamato, unbothered, continues his nap. Jun, however, is curious and wants to know more about him. She goes to Toko's class and asks about Yamato. Toko, having promised Yamato she wouldn't reveal anything about him, only shares his hobbies. However, Toko believes Yamato should tell Jun things himself. So, Toko invites Jun on a trekking trip to Mount Fuji. Jun agrees and asks who else is coming. Toko replies, "You, me, and Yamato." Jun then asks if she can invite more people, and Toko says it's fine.
Jun invites Hajime, a childhood friend who also attends their school. Hajime approaches Jun, showing her a photo of her and Yamato talking. Jun assures him they are just friends and not to worry. The next day, Jun and Toko start their journey to Mount Fuji.jun asked that when did you inform yamato about this trip Toko said last night jun shakes his head and agreed.Toko asks about Jun's friend, and Jun replies that he'll come with his boys. They go to Yamato's house, which is near Mount Fuji. Jun is shocked to see how clean and neat his house is. They pick up Yamato and begin their trek in a jeep allotted for tourists. Yamato sits by the window, Toko in the center, and Jun on the aisle seat. Suddenly, Toko asks Yamato if they can switch seats because she wants the window seat. Yamato agrees, and they switch.
Yamato falls asleep and, leaning against the window, his head slips onto Jun's arm and lap. Jun blushes profusely. They reach the mountain's summit, get out of the jeep, and begin to enjoy the view. As usual, Yamato is antisocial. Suddenly, Hajime and his boys appear. Jun shouts to Hajime, who comes over with his group. Jun sees his friends and is terrified. She immediately runs and hides behind Yamato, clutching his hand for dear life, clearly in danger. Yamato's anger peaks. The boys are the same ones who harassed Jun that night. Yamato charges towards them and punches one of the boys in the face. Suddenly, Hajime stops Yamato's hand and asks, "What happened to you? Why are you beating up my friends, and why is Jun hiding behind you?" Jun explains, "Those are the boys who tried to harass me at midnight. Yamato is the one who saved me from those perverts."
Hajime is shocked. He questions his boys, who admit they were drunk that night and didn't know what they were doing, apologizing to their boss. Hajime nearly beats them all to death, when Yamato steps in, stopping Hajime with just his voice. Yamato's power is evident compared to Hajime, who immediately stops. Hajime and his boys then go to another side of the mountain. Toko suggests, "Okay, shall we go down and have some lunch? I'm starving."
Jun agrees, "Yes, me too." Suddenly, Jun falls and sustains a minor fissure in her leg. Someone needs to carry her. Both Toko and Jun look at Yamato. "Ugh, okay, okay, I'll do it. Don't look at me like that," he says, and he begins to piggyback her. Jun whispers into Yamato's ear, "Yamato, I feel so safe and protected when I'm with you, so please carry me till death." In her mind, she adds the last part. Yamato asks, "Did you say something?" Jun blushes and replies, "No, no, I didn't even open my mouth," and smiles. They get down the mountain and have lunch. Jun and Toko say goodbye to Yamato and leave. Yamato goes back home to sleep.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the mountain, Hajime, a cigarette in his mouth, thinks, "I couldn't even achieve anything that I deserve, including Jun..."
