Chapter 100 - Chapter 100

The room was quiet, except for Kael's hissing as his wound got cleaned and covered.

He stared up at the doctor's face in front of him and smiled.

"You look worried," Kael murmured.

Corvin furrowed his brows, "If you were more careful maybe I wouldn't be worried." He said, concentrating on his task.

Kael didn't respond again, he simply stared at Corvin's blue eyes which reminded him so much of Rhys, who was by the way not available as usual.

"You wish he cared, too, right?" Kael asked softly.

Corvin paused, sighing, "Did you have to, Kael? Now I feel like I've been wasting my time caring for you." He packed his plasters and cotton wool into his first aid box and looked into Kael's eyes, "You're all good." He said and tried to step away from between Kael.

"Hold on, Doc," Kael reached out and grabbed Corvin's wrist, standing from the bed.

"It's late, Kael. We should probably sleep," Cirvin sighed.
