My group and I finally arrived at the perfect spot for us to rest. We have been trekking non-stop as our carriage stopped on the way. Unfortunately, Cayden forgot to tell the wolves back at home to feed the horses, and now the horses have collapsed on the way — and he was not even with us to bear the consequences, as we were sure his own carriage is still moving.
Caspian just kept cursing him all through as we finally found a large coconut tree for us to sit. Caspian was the first to crash down, while Alice, with the help of her spell, helped us gather water from the plants and niches all around us for us to drink.
Caspian drank the fourth round while Alice frowned.
"You know, if you keep drinking like that and I just run out of my powers, it's not my fault that I am damn tasty."
"Well, it's not also my fault that you are also tasty. My powers don't need to suffer for it."
