Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: Scarecrow coming & Seol Hee tied up

On the left was bread, and on the right was a steamed bun. The bread was soft and large, while the steamed bun was small but more elastic. These two were Connors' favorite foods, and it was truly difficult to choose one as the staple.

Cindy Moon seemed determined to succeed. After a brief tug, she decisively shot out spider silk, looking as if she was going to tie up Harley Quinn.

Harley Quinn was no pushover either. She reached down her calf and produced a saw blade: "Hey, how about half for each of us?" After that, Harley Quinn gestured at Connors with the saw blade, but her eyes were fixed on Cindy Moon: "Do you want to saw vertically or horizontally? Oh, it's so hard to choose… Or I want the internal organs, and I'll give you the shell."

According to normal human thinking, after hearing what Harley Quinn said, one should "wave their hands and panic," but Cindy Moon actually began to look Connors up and down, as if deep in thought.

No, this is just a joke; don't take it seriously, okay?

Connors was sandwiched between two women, with gorgeous stage lights flashing overhead and the star singer in front of him singing and dancing.

He finally began to regret why he came to this concert.

'Change the scene to a closed room, tie myself up, and then the new Saw can start filming…' Connors thought with a smile on his face.

Connors' Spider-Sense clearly revealed that Harley and Cindy had no ill intentions, so he let them do as they pleased. However, it would be even more difficult for him to escape.

"No, I have a feeling that I would be very sad if he died," Cindy Moon said seriously to Harley Quinn after a long moment of thought.

This was the first sentence Cindy had spoken since Connors met her.

Harley Quinn's voice was as clear as spring water, while Cindy Moon's voice was as gentle as a spring breeze.

"Paddy, can I kill her?" Harley Quinn still looked harmless but uttered terrible words.

"You can't kill me," Cindy Moon said confidently.

"I can do anything for Paddy," Harley Quinn stated.

"Who's Paddy?… Oh, it's Connors Patterson. I can do it too. We both have Spider-Sense. I have an advantage over you at the genetic level." Cindy Moon was not to be outdone.

"I used my mouth."

"I did, too."

Connors never told Cindy his name, but in the comics, she was a genius with a high IQ. Living in the same Gotham City, he didn't think he could hide his name from her.

Watching Harley Quinn and Cindy Moon confront each other and "play cards" against each other, Connors was even looking forward to the next development between the two, as some comic plots suggested this would lead to "being charged" later.

But then, an unprecedented sense of crisis enveloped him in his Spider-Sense.

Cindy Moon reacted faster than him. Almost at the same time Connors sensed the danger, Cindy had already flown away.

Instead of running away, she headed straight for the ventilation vents located in the enclosed concert venue.

The vents were tightly sealed by airtight spiderwebs, one after another, but a stadium that could accommodate 10,000 people had thousands of vents of all sizes.

According to Cindy Moon's speed, she could finish the work in half an hour. But the Spider-Sense had already detected the danger, which meant the crisis was approaching, and it was too late.

Cindy Moon soon discovered that the progress of sealing the vents was too slow, and she jumped from the air to Connors: "Connors, I can feel that someone is trying to release poison gas here through the exhaust system. The Spider-Sense indicates that this person is very dangerous!"

There are only a few people in Gotham City who like to use poison gas.

"Are there any characteristics? Your Spider-Sense should be able to sense the other person's appearance," Connors remembered that Silk had shown this in the comics.

"He was wearing an ugly mask, his arms and legs were longer than those of ordinary people, and he was driving a tanker truck…" Cindy Moon described.

"That's enough," Connors interrupted Cindy Moon's description and looked at Harley Quinn: "Scarecrow!"

"Damn it, I should have kept him locked up in there!" Harley Quinn said angrily. When she helped the Joker escape from Arkham Asylum, she also released all the prisoners, including Scarecrow, Penguin, Bane, etc.

"It's a pity that there is no Batman's contact information…" Connors was thinking differently from Harley Quinn at this time. Things were about to happen right in front of him, but he had no intention of dealing with the Scarecrow himself.

Fighting criminals could be left to the superheroes, but Connors didn't mind buying some time for Batman before he successfully stopped the Scarecrow.

"My current abilities include intermediate mixed martial arts, Spider-Sense, 1% of the Green of All Things, and Master Locksmith."

"Among these abilities, theoretically, Spider-Sense can perfectly restrain it, but I'm not 100% sure."

"The Scarecrow came in a tanker truck? A full load of 'fear toxin'?"

The time for thinking was very short. After a moment of hesitation, Connors said to Cindy Moon, "Cindy, I'm sorry to trouble you to take me to the path that the Scarecrow must take to get here."

Cindy Moon said "um," spider silk shot out from her fingertips, and she hugged Connors with one hand, ready to launch together.

Harley Quinn next to him became anxious: "No, what about me?"

It seemed that her plan really required someone to attract the Scarecrow's attention… Connors nodded to Cindy, and then the three of them were tied together by spider silk and wandered through the audience.

If Cindy Moon were alone, she could come and go without a trace and not be discovered by others. But now there were three people hanging in the air, extremely conspicuous, and the lighting team of the concert went crazy for some reason and directed all the spotlights on the three people in the air.

So wherever Connors and the other two wandered, the applause, whistles, and screams would spread, making Seol, who was singing well on the stage, look confused.

Then, she quickly recognized Harley Quinn, and out of curiosity, a crystal-clear ice sculpture gradually transformed into her appearance, and Seol herself quietly left the stage and followed the three people.

A street away from the enclosed stadium, Connors was lowered down by Silk, accompanied by Harley Quinn.

"Someone is following us…" Connors reminded.

Cindy Moon nodded, then left. She came back three minutes later with a woman tied up with spider silk in her hands.

She had a pretty face, a hot body, half-black and half-white hair, and pupils of the same color. She was the star singer who was currently holding a concert—Seol Hee.

Connors was stunned: "Why did you tie her up?"

It was okay to tie her up, but the key was the way she was tied. Why did it look familiar?
