The sky transformed as a canvas of deep blue, the moon rises high in the sky…
Sweat dripped down through her neck, each step felt like an hour. The darkness and silence around made her breath echoed to her ear with her heartbeat. The distant call of nocturnal creatures didn't stop her desire to reach her destiny. The soft lapping of waves against the mountain's base is barely audible.
" ye-..yeah.. Finally…"
As her eyes landed on the view, a vibrant smile erupted on her face, and it brightened up her whole expression.
She took a deep breath and took each step forward avoiding the dried leaves swirling around her, which danced in the turbulent air. Again she looked around to make sure the surroundings were safe. Her grip tightened on the camera and the other hand on the travel bag over her shoulders.
Her legs stopped, eyes sparkled…
"How ethereal.." what her heart said came out through her mouth.
Her archaeologist's trained eyes roamed around each part of that once-majestic, now shrouded in mystery and neglect with the crumbling walls of that palace.
She stared at the huge door of that palace, a voice echoed in her ears as a reminder.
'If you go there, don't choose the main door to get inside.'
Sighing, she walked to the side of that palace. Her camera capturing every detail for her next travel vlog, the light fixed with the camera she was holding showed the path to her.
Looking at every part of the palace to find a way to get inside her search reached its end as her eyes caught a small door behind a huge pillar.
she walked towards it.
At that time a person appeared on the top of the palace, watching her every action..
As her hands touched the twistable knob of the door, it opened with a crack sound. Her heartbeat raced and her head got heavy. She found it unusual, but avoided the feeling. Inhaling the scents of decades, she removed the spider web with her bare hands and she blankly stared at the darkness inside and taking a deep breath she gathered courage to walk forward though that small hallway.
When she stepped inside the palace, a symbol in golden color appeared on the main door of the palace and it slowly faded. The wind died momentarily and the silence fell.
With each step her eyes roamed around to make sure she was safe. When she reached the end of the hallway she realized that the roof of that area was broken and the moon light entering it made her see things more clearly.
And her eyes widened seeing the architectural beauty in each and every wall of that palace.
"No way.. I can't believe that this palace is abandoned... How come even the government failed to protect such an amazing majestic palace. This could be a fascinating tourist attraction. This place should be well maintained and protected." she said to herself still aroused in shock.
Just like her, her camera captured everything around there.
"But… Why am I feeling relieved that this place is abandoned and I got to enter here without any restriction..?. She murmured.
Putting her travel bag down, she walked up through the stairs, her fingers brushed through the hand trails.
Holding the camera stand with the left hand she took out her phone from her jeans pocket and captured the huge paintings on both sides of the wall.
As she reached the top of the stairs she found herself in the middle of a huge living hall.
Her eyes trailed to more than six locked rooms there.
Putting her phone back to her pocket she walked towards one of the rooms and tried to open it, but failed.
She realized that every room is locked. But by who?
Disappointed, she turned around to climb down the stairs, but suddenly the light in her hand showed her a path beside the end of the hall.
She narrowed her eyes suspiciously and walked towards it. There she found another hallway and stairs to go down. She climbed down though it and reached a wooden door carved with artistic magic.
"Wow.." her fingers trailed the door until it reached the golden knob on the door.
"Hope it's not locked.."
Saying that she tried to open it, but only to take back her hands hissing.
An unseen purple color light covered the knob and it made an invisible ring like a circle on her ring finger.
She looked at her palm and found it got cutted and the blood started to flow from the wound. She noticed the crack in the handle of the door and rushed back to take antiseptic cream and bandage from her bag.
Her blood drop on the door handle got mixed with the purple light…
A smile appeared on the lips of the person at the top of the palace, he opened his huge wings and flew down to the sea.
The sky is filled with extreme dark clouds…
Waves crashed on the shore, lightning struck the earth with a loud thunder.
She startled and the ointment fell down from her hands.
His deliverance..!
Like realizing that, there were changes in nature too…
In the depths of the sea, a place full of rocks around the seabed, at such a distance that the new age humanity cannot yet go through.
A rock in it began to split in two like the sound of a loud thunder clap.
A purple light poured out from it…
The darkness around there changed to brighten in purple color.
The rock that began to split slowly fell to both sides, and a figure stood up from the middle of it.
He raised his head, when he opened his eyes it glowed in purple color. His huge white wings slowly turned to black…
