"What do you want?" Razeal asked, his tone sharp and cold, his dark eyes narrowing as they fixed on her.
"Nothing much," she said lightly. "I just find you two... interesting."
Her voice was smooth, confident, each word carefully chosen. "So I thought.. maybe we could become friends. Who knows? A good relationship might benefit us both in the future."
Her yellow eyes gleamed faintly as she tilted her head slightly. "And something tells me... you might be in need of my presence here."
The way she said that soft but deliberate ..carried weight beyond casual friendliness.
Razeal's eyes narrowed further, reading the undertone behind her smile. The subtle emphasis in her words wasn't lost on him.
