Chapter 28 – A Conversation by the Campfire Before the Farewell

When they got back to the house, the night was soft and warm. The huge bonfire crackled in the center of the yard, sending sparks dancing into the starry sky. Everyone dragged chairs and logs into a circle, the orange glow painting tired but happy faces.

Lenny stood up, raised his glass of whiskey, and looked around the fire with a wide smile.

"Well, everyone, today is the last day of our vacation. But I want you all to know that, despite all the mishaps we went through, these were still the best vacations I've had in a long, long time."

Erik, drinking his beer straight from the bottle, nodded.

"Yeah, Lenny, you're right. These vacations brought us closer after being apart for so long."

Rob, eyes glassy with emotion, said:

"Guys, I really loved us getting together again as friends after so much time and seeing that our friendship is still strong."

Charlie put a hand on Rob's shoulder and said:

"My friend, you don't have to worry about us drifting apart. At least you and me—thanks to your daughters, we're family now. And when they have kids, we're gonna invite you to every Christmas party. The Santa's little helper elf costume is already planned. Just imagine me coming in as Santa and you as my elf helper while we hand out presents to our grandkids. It'll be magical."

When Charlie finished, nobody could hold it anymore and everyone burst out laughing, the sound rolling over the crackle of the fire.

Kurt, laughing so hard he almost spilled his beer, said:

"He's right, Rob. You're gonna be the life of the Christmas party."

Rob wiped his eyes and shot back:

"Laugh all you want, but Kurt, Lenny, Erik… don't forget one detail: you guys also have daughters. So you're still gonna have to deal with what I'm dealing with right now. The only difference is you still have some time before it happens."

Erik, Kurt, and Lenny stopped laughing instantly, faces falling like they'd just been sentenced.

Roxane clapped her hands, drawing attention.

"I have something to say too. When Lenny invited me to stay after the funeral, I admit I was really no happy. But I truly thank him for insisting, because I met incredible friends."

She looked at Diane, Sera, Sally, and Glória with genuine warmth.

"I also learned a lot of new things and had some serious thrills."

She said this while glancing discreetly at Dante, a faint blush on her cheeks.

Sally laughed.

"That day at the water park, who didn't have serious thrills? But I really would've preferred not to have that kind of thrill."

Everyone laughed again, the fire popping in agreement.

Dante looked at the girls curled against him and asked quietly:

"So, girls, have you made your decision?"

Jasmine leaned into his shoulder.

"Since you said the place doesn't matter, we decided to live in Pasadena, California."

Dante blinked, surprised. "Why?"

Amber smiled. "Well, I want to go to college there."

Jasmine added: "Plus there are tons of bars, tourist spots, and places for us to go out and have fun whenever we want."

Dante nodded slowly. "Well, not a bad idea. So you've decided: do you two want an apartment or a house?"

Rob, overhearing with the guys, muttered to Lenny and Kurt:

"Look at that. My son-in-law is already giving my daughters a house or apartment. And your future son-in-law? We'll see."

Lenny genuinely felt like stripping Rob naked, planting him in front of a garden gnome, and calling the police to report the gnome had come to life.

Jasmine and Amber thought about it and said:

"I think an apartment is better, right, Amber? After all, it's just us."

Amber agreed: "Yeah, an apartment is better. A house is the kind of thing we leave for when we have kids. For now, an apartment is more than enough."

Dante said:

"Apartment. Got it."

He thought: Pasadena, California… apartment. If I don't pick that building, life would lose some of its fun.

He nodded. "After this I'll check apartments for sale. Then we can visit the places so you can choose."

Jasmine and Amber hugged and kissed him, soft and lingering.

Dante glanced at his mother—he could see she wanted to talk about the quest. Even though he already knew everything, he leaned to the girls and whispered so only they could hear:

"Girls, go to the bedroom. I'm going to talk about my grandfather with my mom. When I'm done, I want that surprise you mentioned."

Jasmine and Amber bit his ear playfully and whispered back:

"Come quick. We've got a lot of energy to burn."

Dante replied: "Good to know."

He walked toward his mother. They went inside to the living room.

Dante asked: "So, what's the quest?"

Sera began the explanation.

Dante said: "Cool, I get it. Go find my uncle and complete the quest. Alright, I'll do it."

Sera looked at him and said: "If you can, help Percy and don't let him get hurt. He was pulled from his normal life and thrown into this world. Now he has this responsibility. Even if I don't know him yet, he's still my brother."

Dante looked at his mother and said: "Relax. I can't protect him from everything, because once he entered this world he has to go through trials to learn how to survive. But I don't mind helping when he's about to die."

Sera said: "Thank you, son."

Dante replied: "Well, Mom, I'm going to my room. Good night."

When he opened the bedroom door, his breath caught. Jasmine and Amber were waiting in full bunny-girl outfits—tiny white bunny ears, fluffy tails, fishnet stockings, and barely-there lingerie that left almost nothing to the imagination. Their eyes sparkled with hunger.

Dante didn't speak. He simply closed the door, locked it, and pounced.

He crashed into Amber first, mouth claiming hers in a deep, desperate kiss while his hands tore at the flimsy costume. Jasmine dropped to her knees behind him, nails dragging down his back before she freed his already-hard cock and took him deep into her hot mouth. Dante groaned into Amber's lips, hips bucking involuntarily as Jasmine sucked him with fierce, wet strokes.

He broke the kiss only to lift Amber's top and latch onto her breasts, tongue swirling around one stiff nipple while his fingers pinched and rolled the other. Amber's moans filled the room, high and needy. Jasmine's mouth never stopped—suction tight, tongue teasing the underside—until Dante's control snapped. He came hard down her throat. She swallowed every drop, humming in satisfaction.

Amber came just from his mouth on her chest, thighs shaking.

Dante didn't give them time to recover. He spun Amber around, bent her over the bed, and buried himself inside her dripping pussy in one brutal thrust. She screamed into the pillow as he pounded relentlessly, one hand tangled in her hair, the other slapping her ass until it glowed pink. Jasmine crawled beneath them, tongue flicking Amber's clit with every thrust, driving her wild.

Amber shattered again, walls clenching around him, and Dante followed, pumping her full until she collapsed forward, breathless and trembling.

He pulled out, still rock-hard, and dragged Jasmine to the floor. She went willingly onto all fours. He slammed into her from behind, gripping her hips hard enough to leave marks, fucking her so deep the bed shook. Jasmine's cries turned into broken sobs of pleasure, orgasm after orgasm ripping through her body until she finally went limp, passing out with a blissed-out smile.

Dante wasn't done. He lifted the unconscious Jasmine onto the bed, spread her legs, and slid into her ass in one slow, possessive push. Hours blurred—switching between their bodies, mouths, hands, every hole—until both girls were utterly spent, trembling, covered in sweat and his cum, passed out cold.

Only then, chest heaving, did Dante finally stop. He gently cleaned them with a warm towel, tucked them under the sheets, and went to get water.

He ran into Roxane in the hallway.

Dante asked: "What's wrong?"

Roxane replied: "Nothing. It's just… with everything I found out, I'm really scared to go back now."

Dante sighed, grabbed a pen, wrote his number, and handed it to her: "My number's here. If anything happens and you need help, just call me."

Roxane took it, hugged him tightly, and whispered: "Thank you for everything."

Dante hugged back and said: "It's nothing."

Roxane pulled away and said: "Well, I'm going to my room. We have to leave early tomorrow, after all."

Dante said: "Alright. Good night."

He drank his water and returned to the bedroom.

Roxane stood there a moment, looked at the number, and smiled like a secret plan had just fallen perfectly into place. She turned and went back to her room.

Dante slipped into bed between the girls. They instinctively curled into him even in their sleep. He kissed each forehead softly and whispered:

"Good night, my loves."
