Chapter 2 - MoE: Chapter 1

Year 1907

Wilhelm scratches his eye, he wakes up in his bed, feeling a little bit tired he closes his eyes once more. He felt a sense of comfort and wanted to sleep, plunging himself into the deepest part of comfort, until finally the sun shines through his window.

It was a wake up call, as he opened his eyes revealing lilac colored pupils. It was beautiful like a gem. He finally stood from his bed with ruffled hair, he snapped his finger and his hair glowed and turned smooth and straight, a natural look with the use of magic. The quality of life in this world had already surpassed his old life in terms of household.

"Hmm… it's already been a few weeks, I should probably prepare my luggage, and probably say my goodbye to Sigrid."

He went to grab his coat, which matches him and he looked at the mirror and saw his pointy ears or his Elfen ears. He swayed them up and down. "Now that's all good." He smiled as he fixed his coat.

Finally about to bid farewell to his home abode. "Now it's done." He closed the door behind him, and went towards the library where Sigrid currently resides.

"Hm.. I need to plan my travels, and how long can I stay in that country. Francia Third Republic, I should probably be able to stay there for a minimum of 1 month, with a maximum stay of 2 months. After Francia, next should be the Albion Kingdom, but with the current relationship of the two, it's a Naval arms race."

He keeps muttering about his travels, as he walks the streets of Berlin. "Hmm after Albion, should I go for Dominion of Maple, and Maple is near United Stars… or should I explore Europe first? The Osterreich-ungarn? Kingdom of Romanus? A lot to explore." He finally reached the library to bid his farewell to his friend.

"Graf Wilhelm, what's your business for today?"

"I'm just here to say good bye."

"Already?"

"Of course, the only time I will be here is because you said to visit you when I'm finally going out."

"Harsh statement, but as usual your snarky comments are welcome in the library."

"Customers?"

"A few of them in the back."

"At least you got some." He added.

"Sure, sure… also good luck with your journey Silver Eyes." She smiled at him.

"Please don't go revealing my Pen name so casually."

"Alright I'll stop teasing you."

"I appreciate your concerns."

"Heh… guess I'm caught."

"We have known each other for years. It's natural for me to learn your usual comments." Wilhelm smiled at her.

Sigrid just smiled back, as the two best friends bid farewell to each other, as the two are going to be separated for a very long time.

"Aunt Sigrid, did you say Silver eyes?" Someone from the back appeared behind Sigrid, it was her niece.

"Uh… no." Sigrid sweats in denial.

"Don't lie to me, I clearly heard the two of you. You can't lie to my ears." Said by the young girl who seems to be around 16 years old.

She was from the Moltke family, the same as Sigrid. "Uh… I don't know what you're talking about, and also it's rude to listen to someone's private conversation."

"So is he that author?"

The young girl ignored Sigrid's remarks, and she felt defeated by her relentless look that would pierce her heart if she didn't give an immediate answer.

"As long as you don't spread it around, but yes that's my dear Friend Silver Eyes the author of that book."

"The Author of Masters of Europe…"

"How come you know such a famous Author!?"

"Hahaha! Okay that's hilarious but he doesn't like the word famous around him, he likes to humble himself and doesn't even spread his influence."

"Why though?"

"It's because he said it was more efficient to hide himself."

"Eh?"

"I know right? But I kinda understand him, because he made a controversial book. It was a book that can be looked upon and said this is just a fiction, but the more you read into it the more it slowly becomes real…" Sigrid explained, as she sat down in the chair and looked at the front door

"Masters of Europe: Table of Contents Rise and Fall of an Empires…"

"The Reich has fallen." She uttered. Sigrid's first time reading the book fascinated her on world building and such, but as she read further, she raised the questions if this is Deutsches Reich, would it happen exactly the same thing on Masters of Europe? The World shall descend into Weltkrieg, and the fall of the Empires.

Wilhelm had reached a train station, where he finally boarded a train to reach Strasbourg, the former land of Francia that the Deutsches Reich annexed and integrated into its Empire.

"First step, to reach Strasbourg." He smiled as the engine of the trains roared to life.
