The Conqueror's Haki didn't just send Boa Hancock, that damn fujoshi, flying, it also scared off all the wild beasts behind Luffy, forcing them to retreat.
"Big Bro!"
The Whitebeard Pirates members lying on the deck were already stirring, about to wake up. Their eyes fluttered open, ready to speak, only to be knocked unconscious again by the overwhelming pressure of Conqueror's Haki.
"Hey, Roy! What are you doing?!"
Luffy was startled by the sudden turn of events. He didn't understand why Roy attacked Hancock, but he didn't panic; his instincts told him Roy wasn't serious.
He knew how strong Roy was, definitely one of the strongest people he'd ever met. And he'd heard the rumors, his own grandfather had lost to Roy.
"It's nothing. Just teaching her a lesson. I'm actually here for you."
"Me? What for?"
"I need some of your blood," Roy said.
"My blood?"
Luffy looked confused, while Rayleigh squinted suspiciously, seeming to catch on to something.
"Don't look at me like that. It's just for an experiment," Roy explained.
"I get the feeling you're hiding something."
"I told you what I want. Just a little blood."
"Okay then," Luffy nodded.
"Don't worry, just a little will do."
Roy took a small pouch of Luffy's blood and stored it in a medical container.
Whether the Nika Fruit could be replicated was uncertain.
The Age-Age Fruit could take on many possible future forms; it could even mimic Nika.
The Nika Fruit had a will of its own and actively sought out hosts.
For 800 years, the World Government had disguised it as the Gomu Gomu no Mi, when in truth, it was a Zoan-type: Human-Human Fruit.
Chopper… well, same fruit type, different fate.
Could Nika be replicated?
Roy had his doubts. Nika seemed like a conceptual being, something more than just a power.
According to Vegapunk, Devil Fruits are born from human desires, and those with powers exist in another dimension dreamed by someone else, essentially a manifestation of another personality. They became whatever humanity imagined them to be.
The Sun God was a deity worshipped in nearly every civilization that had ever conceived of gods.
No matter the culture, where there were humans, civilization, and fire, there was sun worship.
But the sun was still the sun. To them, the Sun God had a form, a liberating, world-saving deity.
The two most devout regions that worship the Sun God? Elbaf, the land of giants, and Fishman Island.
"All done. Thanks."
Roy handed Luffy the food Hancock had brought as a token of gratitude.
The moment Luffy saw the food, his eyes lit up. He wolfed it down and instantly replenished the blood he'd lost.
"Roy, how's Ace doing?" Luffy asked, having heard some news about his brother.
"Him?"
Roy remembered that, after returning from Wano, Ace had come to him once.
He and Deuce had shown up battered and bruised, asking if Roy had brought Loxus back.
"He's doing fine. Took a hit, but he survived. He's waiting for you in the New World," Roy smiled.
"Awesome! Tell him to wait a bit longer. I'll be there in about a year," Luffy said excitedly.
"I'm sure he's waiting. Not just him, Shanks is waiting for you too." Roy added.
"Shishishi! I'll go find them!" Luffy grinned.
"Then I'll be off. See you in the New World."
"Yeah, see you there!" Luffy waved.
Roy glanced at Rayleigh and smirked, "Don't look at me like that. You're making me blush."
"I hope this isn't something dangerous," Rayleigh said seriously.
"Relax. Even if it is, you've made it this far. Could things really get any worse?"
"Good point. I'm not getting any younger."
Roy and his crew departed Rusukaina. But Namur couldn't help asking what was on his mind:
"Big bro, we came all this way just for the Straw Hat's blood?"
After leaving the Calm Belt, Namur finally voiced his confusion on the deck.
To him, it made sense to collect blood from powerful Zoan users like Kaido or Marco. But why Luffy? Wasn't he just a Paramecia Rubber Fruit user?
"That kid's fruit is actually a Zoan."
"Huh? I thought he ate the Rubber Fruit and became a rubber man?"
"Who said that?"
"Ace did."
"What the hell does he know?"
"Uh…"
"So what fruit is it really?"
"Can't tell you yet. You'll find out soon enough."
"You're always so secretive, Big Bro."
"Go wake the others. Bunch of idiots nearly got themselves charmed."
"The Empress's allure was intense… I almost fell for her, too. How did you stay so calm, Big Bro?"
"When you've got a wife who won't leave you alone, other women stop mattering," Roy said, patting his shoulder.
Soon after, Roy spotted a Marine ship tailing them; it had to be Kizaru.
"Big bro, Kizaru's on that ship," said the lookout.
"I know. We're not fighting him, not worth it. They're just tracking us."
On the Marine side, several Vice Admirals, including Strawberry, were onboard a fleet at Buster Call level.
"Admiral Kizaru, should we attack?"
"Let's see what he's up to first. No need to fight just yet," Kizaru replied, not planning to engage.
Fleet Admiral Sakazuki had insisted on sending a full Buster Call fleet, just in case.
"He's got only one ship and one division commander. We can take him here," Vice Admiral Doberman suggested.
"Can we, though?" Kizaru replied, palms up.
The moment he said that, the five Vice Admirals all looked down in silence.
Under Roy's Conqueror's Haki, anyone below Vice Admiral was basically useless, only six people could fight.
Six against one… but could they really win?
Only Kizaru had a real shot; everyone else would just be cannon fodder. Roy's display at Egghead proved that two Admirals were the minimum needed to contain him.
But Aokiji had gone AWOL, and only Kizaru remained active.
"We're just going to let him go?" Doberman asked.
"Let's wait and see. He just came from the Calm Belt. That direction… looks like Amazon Lily. Did something happen there?"
"We've informed the World Government. They'll follow up."
"That guy never moves without reason. I'll go check it out myself."
Kizaru turned into a beam of light and shot across the sky toward the Moby Dick like a meteor.
