Yan's expression grew increasingly ferocious as he glared at Hu Liena standing behind Xie Yue, roaring, "Tell me, is it because of Ao Tian?"
He was a proud and confident man who had long considered Hu Liena his own possession; no one but him was worthy of her.
At this moment, rejected by Hu Liena, all his years of effort had vanished. How could he not be furious?
"It's not because of Ao Tian! This has nothing to do with him!" Hu Liena shouted angrily.
Xie Yue frowned and said, "Nana, go back to your room."
Hu Liena glanced coldly at Yan and turned to leave.
In the past, she had always respected Yan as her elder brother, but now she was deeply disappointed in him.
As she was about to disappear down the stairs, Hu Liena glanced down and said coldly, "I'll give you one last piece of advice: don't mess with Ao Tian. Don't blame me if something happens."

Xie Yue shouted, "Calm down, don't force me to take action!"
He was also somewhat disappointed in Yan, and he respected his sister's decision, naturally not wanting Yan to disturb her any further.
Yan plopped down on a stool, his face contorted with rage. "It must be that Ao Tian," he said. "Nana must be afraid I'll retaliate against Ao Tian, that's why she said those things."
Xie Yue sat down beside him, saying, "Whether it's because of Ao Tian or not doesn't matter anymore. Nana only sees you as a brother. Give up on that idea."

Xie Yue said, "This is none of your business. I'll investigate. If it's really as you say, I'll find a way to stop Nana."
"There's no doubt about it!" Yan said coldly.
Xie Yue said, "Let's put Nana's matter aside for now and think about the Soul Master Competition. Since the Pope has decided to disband our team, we need to find a way to remedy the situation as soon as possible."
Yan Nu laughed and said, "The Pope has already made his decision. Who can change his mind?"
Xie Yue said coldly, "Can't you use your brain a little more? Don't always act impulsively."
"Then what can we do?" Yan retorted, unconvinced.
Xie Yue said, "Can't you think about why the Pope would let Ao Tian and the others replace our team?"

"What two?"

"I understand," Yan stood up and said, "I'm going back to my room to rest."
Watching Yan return to his room, Xie Yue sighed again.
Having known Yan for so many years, he had never realized Yan's stubborn nature; Hu Liena's rejection nearly drove Yan to madness.
"Sigh, hopefully things will turn out for the better."
